30/07/2025: In one of Carrara's historic squares, Piazza Gramsci, also known as Piazza d'Armi, a quiet place with a great atmosphere and magnificent service.

10/08/2025: My girlfriend and I had a great time. To start, we had an appetizer of traditional cured meats (their own porchetta was truly delicious) and cheeses, along with a portion of "pappa al pomodoro." This was followed by purple potato gnocchi with truffle butter and shavings of pecorino, drizzled with coffee, and plin pasta with tomato sauce. Every dish we ate was truly delicious, with attention to every detail, especially the flavors. The area may be a little hidden, but it's definitely worth it.

04/09/2025: The restaurant is a bit sloppy. The food is passable, but the service is extremely chaotic. You order on a piece of paper and it's unclear what's coming or why, but it's very likely that not everything you ordered will arrive. Another thing I don't understand is how we managed to spend €60 on two menus, a bottle of water, and a half-liter of wine.

26/08/2025: Super TOP vegan sushi!!! I live far away, but I come to Massa often, and in the last year I've dined there several times. The vegan menu is excellent, complete, and super inclusive. Quality ingredients and excellent value. Highly recommended. A sincere compliment, because places like this are hard to find. Thank you ❤

17/08/2025: The scent of aromatic herbs, a beautiful pool, and meticulously furnished rooms. Peace and quiet. Abundant and varied breakfast. Friendly and welcoming service. The restaurant offers a charming setting and serves refined dishes and local products.

05/08/2025: What a beautiful location this is. The road there is full of potholes and takes a bit of a twist up the mountain in the middle of nowhere. But it's worth it when you see where you end up. Very friendly hostess and staff. Spacious rooms, a very large double bed 😀, a nice shower. Excellent and fast Wi-Fi. Beautiful view of the hills from the pool. The pool is also very nice. A lovely place to enjoy what Tuscany has to offer. Good restaurant too, and breakfast is also well catered for. Unfortunately, we had a lot of rain, which we hadn't anticipated. During the rain, the Wi-Fi frequently dropped out. Perhaps it was a satellite connection. Fortunately, there was also a small gym, ping-pong table, and foosball table for entertainment. The only downside was the towels, which didn't absorb much water. Otherwise, an idyllic spot; I would love to return again, especially when the weather is nice.

12/08/2025: As soon as I stood in front of the window overlooking the spotless kitchen, I realized the Chef is someone who works with love. His name is Marino, and he gave us a truly exceptional experience. One dish was better than the next, original delicacies, with top-quality ingredients. Great courtesy, a very nice location (and super fair prices, which doesn't hurt).

18/08/2025: Shocked by the attitude of the male owner/manager of the restaurant here which took everything away for the experience we had overall. And to be honest the other staff weren’t not so attentive or hospitable either. Quite a poor experience, not a good vibe. I was visiting with my wife’s family who live locally and have been regular customers this place for years as a number of them are celiac. I had heard good things about the pizza (especially for the gf pizza). When we arrived for a table booked for 6, we was placed on a table for 4 with two additional chairs added on the ends with a dripping AC fan right above us. Not ideal, but ok if that that’s the only option. However right across from us was an empty table for 6… So we kindly asked if it would be possible to switch to have more space to not be crammed together and risk cross-contamination of the gluten - to which the response was abrupt and rude, shouted over from this angry man behind the counter in the open kitchen, with other staff rolling their eyes, no one able to explain the situation to us in a kind manner. After being snappy and stubborn they basically said the other table had been booked first. Ok…Somewhat understandable, but surely a table for 6 should be a table for 6, not two small tables with two chairs shoved on the side with minimal space under a dripping AC - plus it’s not like we booked last minute we had booked midday for an evening meal. Anyway not making a big deal about it we sat. It then took about 10-15 minutes until we had to stand up and ask for one of the floor staff who was standing with her back to us to take our order just to get some drinks. The meal went on with no other issues, the pizza was fine, not the best, fairly small but ok, I would say average at best (mine was not gf). During and also by the end of our meal we realise the table of 6 across from us was still empty! So when paying for the bill we asked why and how it was possible that A) We weren’t offered the table early into our meal after the booking didn’t show, and B) How their booking system works so we can ensure we get the correct seating arrangements in the future. Straight away the same guy overheard from the kitchen (which btw is basically in the restaurant) again shouting and causing a scene “if you don’t like it here don’t come here again” …No understanding for the situation, no care at all. Everyone in the restaurant was looking over shocked. I honestly couldn’t believe it! So rude and aggressive causing a huge scene over us simply trying to get some clarity on the situation which was never addressed or apologised for. And resulting in loosing some loyal local customers who did absolutely nothing wrong. Crazy! I honestly don’t understand why someone like that would even work in hospitality. Hopefully for the sake of the restaurant they choose to replace him with someone who actually cares about their customers - which he clearly doesn’t. And teach their staff to show more respect and have more understanding for these kind of situations, it’s really the minimum expectation of customers service. The restaurant inside isn’t particularly nice by the way, quite simple. The back area in particular was quite ugly with a dripping AC and out-dated and the toilets seemed quite neglected with a broken tap. I was very disappointed overall, I won’t be coming again.

20/08/2025: We stopped for dinner on our way off the highway. The staff was quick and friendly, and all the dishes were delicious! The prices were fair, and the portions were generous. We tried the testaroli (delicious) for the first time, and the fried foods and ravioli were excellent! The spaghetti allo scoglio was perhaps the least recommended of the dishes we tried, but that's simply because it's easier to find. Highly recommended!

24/08/2025: Warm and welcoming service, and the testaroli are truly top-notch—I'd say among the best in the Aulla-Podenzana area. The desserts are almost all homemade and unmissable. Highly recommended!

24/08/2025: A lovely place, under the loggias in the center of Massa. Typical Massa dishes with a hint of Sardinia, which could be highlighted more, and desserts that could be improved. The owner is very kind and helpful. Prices are in line.

26/08/2025: When I'm in the area, it's a must-visit. The food is excellent, with meticulously prepared and imaginative cuisine. The place is spectacular in terms of taste and harmony, and the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.

27/06/2025: Due pita Gyros su 4 arrivati completamente bruciati all'interno.....purtroppo ordinati con Deliveroo quindi non ho potuto ridarli subito indietro come si meritavano....erano immangiabili e chi li ha fatti sicuramente sapeva.....Non me lo aspettavo... ma cosi' e'!
