The mixed platter was excellent, featuring a focaccia that was so addictive (perhaps the cheeses weren't quite up to par with the cured meats). The tordelli, wrapped in a flavorful ragù, were also very good. The desserts we chose were good but not exciting, in my opinion. The young woman serving the tables was genuinely kind and helpful, both with regular customers and those just passing through like us. The only downside was the road to the place, which is narrow and has several potholes for the last few kilometers, but the journey was worth it for the peace and quiet you feel once you get there.

11/07/2026: We'll be back. And there's a reason we return. Excellent traditional dishes. The stuffed mussels are sublime. Superb cod trio. The rice cake is top-notch. Honest, family-style service: nothing artificial. At Ometto, you can feel the essential Carrara character, carved in marble. Our dog was welcomed with affection.
