27/02/2026: It's a very small McDonald's, but it offers all the usual McDonald's services, like takeout and drive-thru. Close by, right next to Conad, I find it convenient for a quick bite to eat and then shopping, especially during off-peak hours. Otherwise, like the food, it's a McDonald's. It's quite popular, and at peak times, it's hard to find a table.

23/12/2025: I went for a drink that evening with my friends. There were 20 of us when we arrived, and 13 of us ordered drinks. The others were forced to have something (other than water) because the place (after accepting the reservation, given the large number of people) was open only for us. €6 for a Coke and €2.50 for a half-liter of water, with no platters or anything. Very disappointed; it was a place I really liked. I understand that staying open on a Monday in winter is difficult to recoup, but it can't be passed on to the customers, since the reservation had been confirmed.

23/12/2025: LEGALIZED THEFT. Paying €6 for a Coke in December seems excessive to me. A table of several people forced to order because they were the only ones in the cafeteria. Impossible to order just a bottle of water because it's too cheap for the shopkeeper. BUT €2.50 for 0.5L of water is theft.

20/12/2025: I ate there with my wife. I had two beef steaks, one cooked too raw and one half-burned. I spoke to the owner about the half-armful of steak that my wife couldn't finish. He didn't give us a discount and responded rudely. And we decided not to return. And I don't recommend anyone who wants to eat steak there.

14/09/2025: We were there on a Wednesday and it was almost full, a good sign, we thought. The pizza, while not Neapolitan-style, was actually really good, with plenty of toppings and quality ingredients. It was served very quickly, but we had to wait a bit longer for dessert. The dessert was standard fare, straight from the fridge (a profiteroles and meringue pie), a little hard, but good. The prices were more than fair; in short, we'll be back as soon as we can.

28/10/2025: First time at this trattoria, discovered by chance, and what a pleasant surprise! The recently renovated restaurant is meticulously maintained and immediately exudes a sense of welcome and intimate warmth. The waiter—probably the owner—welcomed us with kindness and attentiveness, immediately putting us at ease. Service was prompt, the place clean, and the atmosphere relaxed. Special praise to the chef: the seafood bavette was simply divine. And the price? Unbeatable: €13 includes a first course, second course, side dish, water, wine, and coffee. We spent €15 for the small supplement on the bavette, but it was absolutely worth it. This trattoria is definitely worth a try. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!

16/02/2026: This is my first time back under the new management, and my experience was fabulous. As everyone has noticed, the owners are incredibly kind. Their love for the place and the refuge is evident, and I hope they always maintain this enthusiasm! The dinner included with the overnight stay was incredibly plentiful and delicious. It's hard to remember everything you ate! The breakfast buffet was also delicious and excellent. We're already planning our return trip.

04/02/2026: I want to share my enthusiasm for the new management of the Forte dei Marmi refuge. I visited them for lunch on a Sunday in January. Overall, the experience was positive! Certainly, some things can be changed, refined, or improved. But I want to praise the energy and hospitality of the new managers! Francesco and Agnese exude serenity when you arrive at the refuge. It's sad to read all these comments from "mountain people" who attack so harshly those who humbly try to do their job. Even though I've never worked in a refuge, I've worked in the restaurant industry for many years. Add to this the difficulty of reaching high altitudes, managing the weather, and so many other issues, and I think it's not easy at all. I urge these keyboard warriors who so courageously and easily pass judgment to keep certain comments to themselves every now and then and perhaps discuss them with the people directly involved in person... Some comments are not only useless but also harmful! Best of luck to everyone! Refugees first and foremost and also to food critics🥸

28/09/2025: The food was lovely and the atmosphere was very nice. Would definitely recommend. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking. Tordelli were amazing and the meat was so tender. I would happily go back and eat here again.

09/03/2026: Saturday night, Carnival night and Valentine's Day together, very courteous and available service to accommodate my requests, excellent music, especially 80's/90's

22/12/2025: Everything is normal, perhaps the prices are excessive for the type of place. If you start with appetizers, a first course, and a second course, it comes to €60-70 per person.

10/11/2025: Had a traditional Italian Sunday brunch with an Italian family we met. Great pastas and meats. They do seafood as well, will have to try it.

11/12/2025: The menu is extensive, including gluten-free options, and the quality is excellent. The atmosphere is refined and pleasant. The service is excellent, and all the staff are extremely kind and courteous.

02/11/2025: The atmosphere may be questionable, it's a historic bar after all, but a good coffee is still €1.00 at the end of 2025. Where can you find it? Access is on foot only, as it's in the historic center.

22/02/2026: Terrible experience. We waited in line for about half an hour to be seated, about 40 minutes for our order to be taken, and the same amount for the food to arrive. They were also out of fried food, so we ordered the super clam for two. The pasta was tasteless and the portions were small. The location definitely needs improvement. The price was also high for what we ate.

04/01/2026: 2 mixed fried foods + chips... I digested them after 10 hours and the quality of the fried food wasn't that great... I had high expectations which unfortunately were disappointed.
