I ate very well. The atmosphere was beautiful and clean. Special praise goes to the two waiters, Tommaso and Elena. They were very friendly, but above all, kind and professional. I recommend them.

Very nice place, unfortunately slow service and disappointing food. Stuffed focaccia inedible.

Of course, you have to keep in mind that we're within the walls of Lucca. There's a beautiful outdoor garden, a spacious dining room, and very reasonable prices, justifying a seemingly generous rating, given that I've only dined here once. However, both the food and the service were completely satisfying, and I think it's an excellent choice if you want to dine within the city walls without being overpriced, enjoying well-prepared and beautifully served dishes. We'll try the pizza soon, too...

The location is very nice in the greenery...waiters with little experience take long times and get lost in a glass of water...the pizza is no comment...

The pizza is good and light, the toppings are a bit sparse, the crust is very crispy, and the dough is easy to digest. The grain options are interesting (whole wheat, charcoal, cereals, etc.).

Very nice place with a pleasant atmosphere. I'd been there before and had excellent pizza. Unfortunately, this time I had a different experience. I ordered a Margherita with buffalo mozzarella and olive paste, but the kitchen changed the pizza without asking me first (it came without tomato sauce because "the pizza chef said it would be better that way"). When I asked for a remake, I had to wait at least another quarter of an hour while the other people at the table were already eating. I was offered olives instead of the olive paste, but the second pizza didn't have any olives. Furthermore, the pizza was very different from the ones served at the table: very heavy on tomato sauce, with buffalo mozzarella added on top, and in some places almost raw, so much so that I had to leave it alone. I was especially disappointed by the lack of communication. All I needed to do was ask in advance if such a change was okay and the whole thing would have been avoided. It's still a nice place, and the wait staff was friendly.

IMPASTI Restaurant, Pizzeria. In the historic center of Lucca. Adjacent to the Church of San Frediano. In the same building as the former hostel, renovated as a Hotel & Rooms. IMPASTO is definitely an experience rich in flavor and quality. Pizza, delicious!!! Thick at the edges, shallow in the center, enriched with carefully selected flavors that make it unique!!! Various flours to choose from. Lactose-free products. We were looked after by a brilliant, professional man who made this first encounter truly top-notch. And to finish, the Cantucci (lactose-free) biscuits, delicious with Vin Santo, couldn't be missed. The setting is beautiful, in all its details. Like our beloved Lucca.

I felt very comfortable. It's a bit away from the tourist crowds right by the wall. I just had a drink and enjoyed the peaceful time. I'd gladly come back again 😁👍
