I migliori ristoranti in Lucca

13/01/2025: A due passi da Piazza Napoleone si trova questo piccolo locale che offre una cucina vegetariana/vegana. È da un po’ di tempo che volevo provarlo e ne ho finalmente avuto l’occasione. Il locale è piccolo, ha un arredamento particolare e la sala internaè formata da tavoli rialzati e sgabelli. L’atmosfera è molto informale e familiare. Il servizio è accogliente e non è presente un menu, se non quello al bancone e quello elencato dai/dalle camerieri/e. Abbiamo ordinato un piatto di riso venere e falafel, una Buddha bowl e una bottiglia d’acqua naturale. Piatti davvero saporiti e colorati! Abbiamo ordinato anche una fetta di ottima sacher. Porzioni abbondanti, prezzi in linea.. un buon pranzo della domenica e una piacevole scoperta!

15/12/2024: Posto super carino, curato e accogliente. Abbiamo mangiato tanti prodotti vegetariani che non si trovano da altre parti! Il pezzo forte? In assoluto proprietario che rallegra il locale con simpatia e gentilezza!

22/04/2025: This was our first pick as soon as we arrived to Lucca, we just ate there judging by how busy it was. But we were very disappointed with the food. We ordered a pizza to share, 2 paninis and spaghetti. The paninis bread was very dry and stale and reminded me of store bought bread. The pizza was extremely oily and was lacking taste. The spaghetti was also lacking flavour. I do not recommend this place.

08/02/2025: Cozy place and big, good sandwiches... The only flaw is the bathroom... Clean the bathroom!!!! For the rest everything was wonderful... I took a menu... Sandwich, patties and drink. We can also agree with the prices as the sandwiches are really large

13/04/2025: Absolutely terrible experience. I was literally kicked out of my table because the restaurant was “getting ready for lunch” and they wanted me to move — as if I was an inconvenience for simply being there. The owner was shockingly rude and made no effort to be polite or respectful. I’ve never been treated so poorly in any restaurant. There was zero professionalism, zero hospitality, and an overwhelming sense that customers are not welcome unless they follow arbitrary and insulting demands. If you value being treated with basic decency, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.

16/03/2025: Cibo spettacolare, in quantità a più non posso. Un posto dove vai con tranquillita’, dove puoi gustare le infite pietanze perché servite con i giusti tempi, senza fretta. Personale gentile. Una trattoria fuori dalla frenesia, dalla formalità, ma con tanto calore gentilezza e sostanza. Non è una ristorante da fighetti. Uno di quei posti dove vai se hai fame e vuoi spendere poco. Uno di quei posti dove tornare con piecere.

25/01/2025: Il cibo sarebbe anche buono, casareccio come ti aspetteresti in un posto del genere . Le cose positive finiscono qua! Mia figlia era un adolescente alle porte della pubertà , abbiamo ordinato i primi e nel frattempo è diventata signorina, ha fatto la comunione , la cresima e aspettando i secondi si è sposata e ora è alla soglia della pensione.

03/03/2025: Ogni mattina prendevamo il nostro cappuccino e croissant in questa ottima pasticceria. Bisogna andare presto perché altrimenti restano pochi buoni dolci e torte. L'accoglienza è come i loro dessert.

30/12/2024: I took 2 chocolate cakes... €6 each. Mediocre indeed and given the price, it's not worth it. The best thing is the very nice box.

29/03/2025: disgusting ice cream, the staff puts on headphones and listens to music while I tell them the flavors banal flavors

04/03/2025: We entered the ice cream shop explicitly asking for a fruit slice/salad with a bit of ice cream, aware that once we saw the window it wasn't achievable. The ice cream seller insisted, claiming to have some fruit available. After cutting the pineapple and strawberries into tiny pieces, he asks us the flavor of the ice cream to match, garnishing it with just a few pieces and keeping the rest of the fruit for himself, adding a topping of your choice. In the end the cup will have an ice cream with a questionable taste with barely perceptible fruit and in the end he makes us pay by weight including the hard plastic cup: 11.80 euros, two cups claiming that in the end it didn't come that much. TIP: If the customer makes a request that clearly cannot be met, it would be best to be honest!

02/03/2025: Pranzo veloce, uno dei pochi locali aperti; servizio cortese e qui finiscono le note "non negative". In due abbiamo preso un antipasto di mare caldo, tutto surgelato con tanta insalata e olive presenti per nascondere il sapore; un piatto di spaghetti ai cannolicchi dal sapore molto pesante e fritto classico di pesce che ci ha seguito sino a sera.... per la sua pesantezza; un bicchiere di vino acqua e due caffe 64 euro; e se invece di un pranzo quasi completo per una persona lo si prendeva per due??? Ma daiii!!

03/01/2025: Primi ai coltellacci appena sufficiente, ma cari (16 euro) in proporzione ai locali vetusti e alla presentazione del piatto. Fritto normale. Dolci buonissimi (zuppa inglese e tiramisù). La cosa più triste è stato il conto: volutamente alzato di 10 euro per poi farmi lo sconto di 7, roba da matti. Praticamente pensavano fosse un mentecatto........ Se avessi avuto accento straniero, pur biasimandoli, lo potevo comprendere, essendo toscanissimo capite voi... Triste davvero triste (se invece ha semplicemente sbagliato a fare i conti, allora è ancora peggio)

23/09/2024: I don't usually do this, I think it's my first or second review in my life, but reading the reviews here and especially the owners' responses to the comments😱 I'm shocked and expose myself. Maybe I'll also answer the question of why I went there years and years ago as soon as it opened and never returned. I didn't remember... I'm a local, born and raised in Tonfano forever, I know the realities of the area well, including this one... so I'm not speaking as a tourist but as people who eat and drink in the little places here in the area all year round. 4 mothers and children (9 in total) went on foot from school to eat a scone for lunch on Monday at 12.30 after the first day of school. Completely empty tables everywhere except 5/6 customers here and there. They tell us to wait a moment to understand how to position ourselves with the tables. The girl goes back inside and talks to the owner for a bit, you can see that they are having a conversation... and they leave us to wait outside... the waitress comes back and tells us that they have to sort it out if we can "go around and come back". We move back slightly to wait longer but with the place empty and the children hungry we certainly weren't going away! I would like to point out that we can also sit apart, even the children alone, there are no problems, we are easy-going people, local, we have no needs... all we had to do was have lunch and we would have gone away immediately to play on the sea!! Come back inside.. and we wait a while…. At least a good 10 minutes... When we see the owner arrive who, not even greeting us, begins to make excuses saying that she had two tables there under the sun, some next to them booked (there was no type of ticket on them to highlight the reservation) and she couldn't move the others... in short it seemed (because I give her the benefit of the doubt even if it was obvious) she didn't want to let us sit. We politely said goodbye (us!) and said we were going somewhere else. They didn't bat an eyelid. My goodness.😳 It's a shame for you that on a dull Monday like that one, you will certainly have lost at least €150 in proceeds! Kindly offered to us at the café bistro a stone's throw away, which served us and revered us, despite it being overly full, and quickly created a table for us in a corner, like gentlemen!💪🏻 Aloha.

20/09/2024: Great restaurant, delicious food and very Italian. Just as you would expect on vacation. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

24/11/2024: I celebrated my birthday in this restaurant, very good food but really poor service, the waitress was unimaginably rude, while she was serving us she gave me and my friends dirty looks and spoke to herself insulting us, she took the liberty of giving us a slap a friend of mine because she had placed her knee on the chair next to hers, and she took the liberty of telling us to go to hell and giving a clearly voluntary shove to a friend of mine, and while she was serving the cake she continued to insulting us with swear words and blasphemies, making inappropriate comments, really rude!

05/10/2024: Simple and nice place in the historic center, friendly staff. Host them with anyone who has a dog.

25/12/2024: Pranzo di Natale alla carta, abbastanza criticabile l'impostazione di dover aspettare che tutti i tavoli avessero terminato per far partire il pranzo. Ci siamo seduti alle 12.40, fino alle 13 niente, e abbiamo terminato alle 17!!. Per il resto, niente da eccepire sul cibo, mentre il personale da quello che ho visto era altamente improvvisato, pane chiesto almeno quattro volte, alla quinta è arrivato. Chiesto il sale, mai arrivato. Prezzo onesto.

08/10/2024: Complimenti per la serietà! Prenotato per un pranzo aziendale per 17 persone da almeno 2 mesi e con tanto di conferma qualche giorno prima del pranzo. Il giorno della prenotazione mi chiamano per dirmi che tengono chiuso perché c’era brutto tempo.

14/01/2025: It's embarrassing to write this review. We went to this restaurant for lunch, it was just us, no one else. The waitress (owner, I don't know) came to take the order and wrote it down, it seemed strange to me, it's just me and my husband, don't you remember what we order? Okay, I'll pretend nothing happened. Two spaghetti with seafood with a lot, a lot of pepper (?), mussels not good, it almost seemed like there was cornstarch to make that strange cream on the plate. The incredible thing is that the girl came to take the plate of my husband who had finished eating (he hadn't finished the plate eh) whereupon she turns to me and says "I'll wait here, she's almost finished too". Well, here I was shocked: she stayed next to me to wait for me to finish eating, to which I told her "go ahead" because I didn't like it, so I didn't finish and she went away happy after having made an owl at me just stuck to my shoulder. But I say, there's no one, are you in a hurry to send us away??? But don't open it then either! Tiramisu without mascarpone but only cream, now a classic in many places, unfortunately. In the meantime, two ladies arrived who didn't understand if it was open to eat or what since the place was very dark, there was no smell of food and they saw us. The waitress responds grumpily to the ladies, then the icing on the cake. When asked if they could enter with a small dog, the waitress rudely said that he could only enter if polite. Logically the ladies went and did well. When we got to pay the bill the girl had to look at the prices and when we gave her the money she didn't know how to make change, we had to tell her how much it was. Why, why do you do all this bullshit? If you can't stand customers anymore, change jobs!!!!! Such behavior is a slap in the face to those who love being restaurateurs. If you then have to use terrible raw materials, well, that's something to be ashamed of. I don't think a situation like this has ever happened to me. Too bad because the place would also be nice.

09/11/2024: Fuyez cet établissement !! Nous étions 8 amis pour le déjeuner. Nous avons pris des Aperol spritz....Servis sans planche car nous avions commandé nos plats en même temps!! ...Les plats...Des pâtes carbo....50 gr de pâtes par personne. Dont une parsemée de cheveux !! Le tout servi par une serveuse antipathique.... Au moment de régler nous avons dit au patron que nous n'étions pas vraiment satisfaits. Il s'en est totalement moqué....A dit que les cheveux étaient les nôtres....La situation a fini par devenir très lourde et tendue.... Une honte. .Nous avons pourtant l'habitude de cette jolie ville que nous fréquentons régulièrement...

02/04/2025: Muy buen restaurante, servicio amable. Buena selección de comida para elegir. Mi esposa tenía el filete en rodajas y patatas, necesitaba verduras. Tuve los espaguetis de salchicha toscana que era muy sabroso. De postre, mi esposa tenía la mille feuille, pero era solo una capa de hojaldre. Podría mejorarse. Tenía el tiramisú que de nuevo se podía mejorar. En general, una buena comida y un gran ambiente en el restaurante. Recomendaría y volvería en una futura visita a Lucca Solo recordé tomar una foto del postre de mi esposa.

23/03/2025: Torniamo così volentieri in questo posticino che ha la qualità come suo obiettivo, come cibo, come bevande, come servizio. Il locale è piccolo e poco spazioso, ma ciò permette all’ambiente una piacevole intimità. Tranquillo e con personale attento. Decisamente pieni voti. Decisamente meglio prenotare.
