19/08/2025: After an afternoon at the beach, we stopped for dinner. It was a lovely surprise; we dined by the sea. The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the seafood risotto was truly excellent. I'm giving it 5 stars and looking forward to another dinner to try other dishes.

15/08/2025: What a shame. The staff was kind, but the kitchen was out of order on August 15th. The menu had a choice of three appetizers, three first courses, and three second courses, and it was unbearable. Arriving at 12:30, we ate the last course at 3:00 PM. The ingredients were frozen. The staff, though very embarrassed, were kind. With those ingredients and that service (meaning the kitchen) it was expensive even at half the price. What do I know? I eat at restaurants for lunch and dinner every day and have even worked in the industry. 2 out of 3 diners reluctantly gave up their second course. I had to apologize to my guests. #SHAME

30/05/2026: My mom and I had a great experience here; we always stop by this little place with an adjoining veranda when we're passing through Viareggio. The decor is simple yet functional, the veranda large enough to seat at least twenty people (I saw they also do takeout and delivery), the paper tablecloths, and the menu can be accessed via QR code. From the outside, the place immediately evokes seafood; there's something charming and inviting about it, with reassuring colors. So why not stop by? It's great for lunch, but also for snacks and, if you prefer, aperitifs. Even though the veranda was quite full with people who still needed to be served, the staff were exceptional and quick. We ordered an excellent tuna sandwich and an equally excellent fried fish sandwich. Excellent service, as I said, competitive prices, cleanliness, quality, and the staff are professional. They're very friendly and you can tell they enjoy their work. For us, and certainly for others, it's a must-visit on the Viareggio promenade. We recommend it without hesitation! ;)

31/05/2026: Terrible experience. I got takeout that included fries, a chicken sandwich, and chicken nuggets. The only passable thing were the fries. The sandwich had a very hard cutlet inside that you couldn't really bite into, and the nuggets were the frozen ones from Lidl or other supermarkets. Not to mention the price: €15... way overpriced. A real disappointment, I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

19/07/2026: Beautiful location, especially the outdoor tables, and very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow and disorganized: bread and salt arrived only after repeated reminders, when they were no longer needed. Furthermore, two main courses were completely forgotten, and after an hour and a half of waiting, we had to cancel dinner. The appetizers were very limited in quantity and quite expensive. The food was good, but the evening was inevitably ruined.

11/05/2026: I went into the bar to have breakfast and work for half an hour since my train was delayed, a very bad decision because (I presume) the owner at a certain point blurted out, "You're not at home" and "I need permission." I was left speechless and very embarrassed by these comments. I was just working in a corner of the bar, as I always do in these situations. I've never been treated so rudely and impolitely. Apparently, in this bar, putting a laptop on the table is considered the equivalent of shouting and throwing firecrackers. Stay away if you're looking for a quiet place to hang out.

02/06/2026: Bar Caffe La Stella is a classic-style bar in one of Camaiore's main squares, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff, simple aperitif with a few appetizers.

06/05/2026: Walked in at 355pm yesterday for drinks, refused by blonde lady - "...closing in 5 minutes". Still serving customers when we left the bar across the square at 430pm. Odd way to treat people.

19/11/2025: Well-stocked breakfasts and very good cappuccino. Fair prices. A little too "seaside" but it's the most convenient and accessible in the area, so that's fine.

05/06/2026: Looks like a snack bar, but it's amazing. We had fantastic fritto misto, insalata de mare, and pizza. The house Vino Frizzante is very good. Perfect value for money. The staff/owner were very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely come back here on our next visit to Viareggio 👍

21/07/2026: We’ve been here 2 times in the evening after the concerts during LuccaSummerFestival, and we just LOVED the atmosphere! The bartenders are super nice, and Vanessa is just top! There is also a music and u can dance inside. Recommended 👍

18/07/2026: We only sat down for a couple of drinks and they brought us so much food that we did not have to pay for! Everything was delicious and the prices are great, so definitely recommend!

08/06/2026: A rather mixed visit. The place is inviting. Unfortunately, in my opinion, you won't find any friendliness from the waiters here. As already mentioned, foreign tourists aren't offered any snacks. The bill should definitely be checked. We had several items on it that weren't ours. The food and drinks were good. Portions were rather small.

16/07/2026: The worst thing is that they make a mess with motorbikes, shouting, they should check more... the worst place they could have put it; next to the Conad, and near the apartments, ... I don't want to judge the food, not to mention the mess they leave on the floor.

15/07/2026: This is the second time I've ordered and received either the wrong or different items. I understand everything, but it doesn't seem normal to me. I hope you'll offer something like a free gift or a small discount, just to be honest and sincere with all of us customers.

18/04/2026: I order three takeout pizzas, and when I open the boxes, one is the wrong one. That's understandable. But the person eating it is a vegetarian, and there's speck in it. I go back, bring back the wrong pizza, still hot, and have it remade. What do they do? They take the pizza with speck and charge me for the one with zucchini too. I basically got one pizza for the price of two. I've never seen anything like it.

21/02/2026: Comfortable, quiet, and spacious atmosphere. Food made with excellent ingredients, prepared by staff with a clear passion for catering. Every dish has a special touch, a different flavor, something special. Highly recommended.
