11/06/2025: The food was ok but the service was bad, ignorant and hectic. But the worst was the bill. Making it, the waiter said to me "a glass of wine", but charged a full bottle. When I complained, he said "oh sorry, I change it to one glass", but changed it two glasses 😡 I had to complain again. And due to the fact, that beer was missing on the menue, they wanted to charge 6 Euro for 0,3 Liter. I complained here as well. Then the waiter said "ohh, I thought it was a large beer". But he served us 🙈 Then he explained, that a large beer is 6 Euro and a small beer is 5 Euro 😳 Real bad place, a rip off to tourists and a shame to Italy.

14/04/2025: È la prima volta che faccio una recensione, ma ieri, sono stato in questo ristorante, festeggiavamo i 50 anni di matrimonio di mio zio. Che dire ? Top. Cameriere bravissime, padrona simpaticissima, cordialità, professionalità, piatti squisiti, pure se per il menu scelto, non fossero tra i miei preferiti, li ho mangiati con gusto. La carne era qualcosa di veramente speciale. Ma tutto lo è stato. Bravi bravi bravi. Super mega consigliato.

28/06/2025: After years I returned to this place and the quality of the food is not bad but the service, well... very rushed and they don't even give you time to finish your plate that they come to take it away. The waiters stare at you and this is quite annoying. Portions are not very generous. The tuna tartare is very small and the second courses are no joke either. In short, I don't know if I'll return.

04/07/2025: Nice place immersed in the pine forest, about 300 meters from the sea. Very good food, the cacciucco alla viareggina (without bones) is very good. Good dessert, average coffee. There is ample space for lunch, we did not book. Few parking spaces and paid but they are in front of the place. Recommended for good food. Both fish and meat on the menu.

26/06/2025: The place is very cozy and traditional, still maintained to this day, run by the founder's grandson (three generations). The dishes are tasty, the portions are just right for one person (not for sharing). NOTE: The €5 per person charge seems a bit steep, but I suppose it's higher because they give you a large plate of fried shrimp to share as a "welcome gift." It's not a budget-friendly restaurant, but I do recommend it for a try; it has good products, flavor, and service. 😋 I recommend trying the spaghetti trabaccolara and the spaghetti arselle e bottarga.

29/03/2025: Beautiful pastry shop at Gino's in Querceta, along the road that leads to Massa. It has a warm and welcoming climate. The staff welcomes you with kindness and helpfulness, certainly the excellently made pastries and very good large and small cream puffs 🤤 we will definitely be back and recommend everyone to try it!

15/06/2025: Number 1 is born, Large parking lot, air-conditioned rooms, attentive and fast staff, varied menu and above all the daily dishes rich and cared for in every part by the legendary staff, delicate and stellar pizza, you can choose the dough, Takeaway minimal waiting times for both the kitchen and the pizzeria, own production of ice creams and cakes with flavors like only once................. Really low prices, and well displayed [menu also available outside the restaurant] specialized in business lunches, served immediately!!!! Cleanliness 10. For 40 years my breakfast has started with Gabriella's legendary focaccia. Always open a point of reference in the evening after soccer. Thanks to all the staff!!!!!!!!

14/06/2025: We went for a business lunch, as soon as we arrived they brought us the à la carte menu but we asked for lunch of the day and the waitress told us the menu verbally that for €15 maybe because it is not written anywhere it includes a first course, second course, side dish, water and a quarter of wine per person. I had a cacciucco and a mixed fried fish. The first one arrived which they call cacciucco but instead it was 3/4 mussels, 5 clams, some cicada peels and two mackerel fillets in oil of which only the bones remained, two slices of untoasted bread and the famous typical broth of the non-existent cacciucco. We eat a little and then we leave half the plate of bones. We anxiously await the mixed fried fish but when it arrives there were 3 fish of about 13/14cm each🤣 I don't know maybe today the cook was sick and they had the cleaning lady cook.... Bo? When we got to the cashier they presented us with a bill of €30 per person. I really hope they use that money to buy a recipe book so they can discover the ingredients of cacciucco and those of paranza🤣

15/07/2025: A wonderful lunch on a beautiful Sunday – with kids and dog. Attentive service, a lovely ambiance, and reasonable prices – a place we'll gladly return to.
