Contemporary dough, a high, well-aired crust, and very light. It's left to mature for 48 hours, and you can taste it: digestible even if you eat a whole one after swimming. Wood-fired oven cooking is done well, just the right amount of char.
The classics are tops: Margherita and Marinara are perfect. The gourmet pizzas are also good, with quality ingredients, from San Daniele ham to truffles. Average price is €12-18 per pizza.
Modern, urban-chic atmosphere. Very well-kept, with wooden tables and soft lighting. In summer, outdoor tables are the most popular, so reservations are recommended.
Service is young and fast, even when it's busy, which in Forte dei Marmi in summer means very busy. Friendly staff, who can recommend craft beers and wines.
Mixed clientele: families, young people, and foreign tourists. Prices are typical of Forte dei Marmi, so it's not a €5 pizza, but you're in one of the most expensive areas in Italy. I'd estimate €25-35 per person for pizza, a drink, and dessert.
- Superb, incredibly light dough
- Quality ingredients
- Location 100 meters from the sea
- Quick service even in the August chaos
- Free parking out front; in the summer, Forte dei Marmi is a tough place to find a spot.
If you want a well-made pizza in Forte dei Marmi without going to the typical tourist restaurant, Vood is a guarantee. Make a reservation, especially on the weekend.

Impeccable, modern, clean, welcoming, and elegant venue. Friendly waiters and fast service. Delicious, light pizza, made with quality ingredients. The only downside is the price of water... €4.50 for a 750 cl bottle. A steal!
