We truly enjoyed our time here the food was flavorful, the drinks were great, and the whole vibe of the place made it one of the highlights of our visit to Lucca. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun night out with great food and good energy!

01/07/2025: A quiet place to spend an evening in company. Very characteristic atmosphere, friendly and easy-going staff, young and full of energy, it also offers a large number of board games to spend the evening with. The large parking lot helps to make it enjoyable. There is space both outside in the open air and inside, the music they choose is fantastic. The food is quality, prepared by them and at very low prices compared to the average. My girls love it and so do we who can afford a "grown-up" place also suitable for children without spending a huge amount. The choice of selected and always different beers makes everything even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

02/07/2025: If you are ever in the quaint town Barga, stop off here at this local spot. It’s a combination of a market, a bar, and a place to eat food. They have pasta (obviously), but other items too. I ate the Caprese salad and my husband had the hamburger (he said it was delicious).

Doriana, who was with us from the beginning, was always super helpful, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. We had a truly wonderful time and created the wedding we'd always dreamed of. 17/08/2025: The venue and menu are highly original, yet the atmosphere is still very pleasant. The menu isn't for everyone because there are limited options, so if you have limited tastes, it might be difficult to find something you like. The service, though informal, was impeccable and fast. We had tagliolini with clams and casoncelli with butter and sage, both delicious. The desserts are also very good.

18/10/2025: I returned to Simaba's after years. I was pleasantly surprised. It's a little place worth remembering: intimate, tastefully decorated, with a good selection of wines and gins.
The platter filled with appetizers accompanied our drinks was unexpected.
We'll definitely be back!
