06/07/2025: I think this is one of the best pizzas ever, the toppings are very generous too, the pizza chef definitely knows what he's doing. Very nice and friendly place, I definitely recommend it. They're very much worth it, see you next time!

18/01/2026: Last night I booked a table with my partner at this osteria and I have to say it was very disappointing, we ordered a Norcina tagliatella and a gnocchi with Chianina ragù... well what can I say, leaving aside the mess between the room with so many waiters who didn't really know how to move and the kitchen where shouting and commotion could be heard, I received tagliatelle with frozen mushrooms (which was written anyway in case they didn't have fresh ones), and undercooked sausages almost raw and the tagliatelle that tasted of nothing, while the ragù for the gnocchi could be said to have walked on the plate by itself with practically raw meat, never happened in our life in Tuscany, where we have always eaten very well everywhere in the entire region, the only thing I could say was that a waitress apologized and a discount on the bill, but for the rest it needs to be reviewed.....

14/01/2026: We dined at Osteria del Bastian Contario twice during the first week of January and were absolutely delighted each time. The food is exceptionally delicious, especially the truffle dishes, which are simply outstanding. All four of us agreed that every dish was superbly prepared and perfectly balanced. The value for money is also excellent – ​​the quality of the food is very high, and the prices are more than fair. The service is friendly, attentive, and warm, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. We're certain of one thing: We will gladly return anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend this osteria.

20/07/2025: Ristorante a conduzione famigliare a Viareggio. Io e i miei amici ci siamo venuti due sere di fila perché ci siamo trovati benissimo. Abbiamo praticamente provato tutto il menù. Niente da dire, tutto ottimo. Qualità della materia prima alta, cucinata bene e i gestori del locale sono gentilissimi e sempre con il sorriso. Il conto è giusto. Qualità prezzo imbattibile.

27/06/2025: Ho appena cenato qui e mi sono innamorata della cucina e di chi lo gestisce. Il mio menù condiviso con mia figlia: lasagna al branzino fresco (fenomenale!!!!!), fritto misto ( non unto, abbondante e gustoso), pepata di cozze (mia figlia le ha divorate) e patate fritte con buccia ( croccanti e gustosissime). Non sono riuscita a mangiare il dolce ma la lista proposta era davvero molto attraente. Anche il vinello della casa era fresco e adatto ai piatti mangiati

09/02/2026: The quality of the menu is inconsistent. The sea bass, for example, was very good, perfectly cooked, while the cutlet was very dark; the oil clearly hadn't been changed in a while. I think the side dishes were expensive, especially considering the small portions. Along with the sea bass (which was only half a piece), the order included a portion of mixed vegetables that cost €7, which probably included a medium-sized pepper and half an eggplant. For €7, in short... The service is quite fast.

11/10/2025: Best canolo in Italy.. 10 years ago we visited Sicily. In small town Traomina we find the best canolo ever in Roberto’s deli. He would fill the canolo only when ordered. He said canolo gets wet after 15 minutes so never buy pre-filled canolo. Since then we saw a lot of bakery’s with canolo in window display and never buy . In le lumie they fill the canolo only when ordered in it was the best we had since Roberto in Traomina. We surely come once a week to have some. Keep the high standards!

09/10/2025: My absolute favorite ice cream shop in the area. The flavors are authentic, refined, and never cloying. Everything is perfect, but unfortunately, I'm often unhappy when staff make cones with different weights (I always get the same size). Otherwise, I'd recommend it to anyone.

15/12/2025: The Campocatino Oasis refuge restaurant is one of those places where you immediately feel at ease. Welcoming, authentic. My sister and I had a truly wonderful time, both with the food and the atmosphere. I ordered the pappardelle with wild boar, and it was simply exquisite: homemade pasta with chestnut flour, tender wild boar, flavorful yet light. Nothing overdone, no greasy dishes or heavy sauces that stick in your stomach. A rare balance, and for that, even more appreciable. A truly exceptional dish. My sister chose a rare tagliata, tender and delicious. The real added value are the owners: friendly, attentive, and attentive. They stop by frequently to check if everything is okay, carefully explain the trail to the San Viviano Hermitage, and make you feel looked after without being intrusive. On our way back from the walk, we stopped again, and they were very open to chatting, sharing anecdotes about the place and the area while I enjoyed a slice of their cake. We felt welcomed, at home. A genuine place, where you eat well and feel at home. I really can't wait to return.

19/09/2025: It's a pastry shop I adore, especially for their special occasion desserts and mini pastries. The creams are delicious, there's a huge variety, and the fruit they use is always excellent. The brioches and puff pastries for breakfast are also good, but I have to say they're a little less polished. The atmosphere isn't the best either, but it's nice.

07/01/2026: A small restaurant/wine bar in the historic center of Pietrasanta, with limited indoor seating and a few seats outside. The decor is elegant, vintage, and very personalized. The service is attentive and informal. The wine cellar is extensive and excellent, and the cuisine is exquisite, using quality ingredients. The quality/price ratio is medium-high. Reservations are recommended, and pets are welcome outside as space inside is very limited.
