12/04/2026: We're not there... A completely unjustified €4 service charge.
An off-menu second course (skewer with a piece of chicken, a small piece of pork, and two slices of burnt bread) was charged €30 per plate, and a slice of cake barely over 2 cm wide, served on a normal plate, making it look even more dismal.
Despite the 50% discount from The Fork, I spent €84 for a first course, two second courses, two desserts, and a bottle of Trentino Pinot Noir, which later turns out to be bottled in Lucca.
12/04/2026: Exceptional. It's very difficult to find trattorias where you can feel so good, especially for the kindness of the staff, as well as the good food!
You must try their traditional dishes and their limoncino!

PS: When you enter a typical Italian place like this—a café, bakery, or gelateria—a simple buongiorno is part of the experience. It’s easy and adds so much to the visit 🙂

15/03/2026: My son had already been there for his birthday and he told me he had eaten well there. This afternoon my husband and I went and I must say we had a great time. Excellent food, fantastic welcome, very fast waiters. I will definitely be back, well done everyone.

09/04/2026: Roadhouse-style venue, well-decorated and well-maintained. Various draft beers—I think five—and plenty of bottled ones. We enjoyed the focaccias. Big screen for sporting events. Good service.

We had a fantastic evening there, celebrating a graduation, and we had a wonderful time!!!
Set menu with a mixed appetizer, two first courses including tordelli alla lucchese, porcini mushroom risotto, and sliced beef with potatoes, all delicious!!!
The staff were attentive and friendly, and the place... what can I say... Amazing!!!
Highly recommended!!

08/12/2025: A must-see for every Viareggio resident. Without a doubt, the best rotisserie in town. Fair prices and superb food, especially the roast potatoes. They also offer gluten-free options.
In addition to takeout, they also offer the option of dining in a beautifully appointed setting in true Viareggio Art Nouveau style.
Highly recommended for everyone, tourists and locals alike (though I don't think there's a single Viareggio resident in the entire city who hasn't eaten at Fila at least once!)

03/05/2026: Easy to get to (despite the last stretch being unpaved). Out of 6 pizzas, 2 were inedible (Margherita with Speck, Tomino, and Arugula); the other 4 were good (nothing special). The price was slightly above average. A 50-minute wait is a long one. I don't think I'll be back.
