18/10/2025: I returned to Simaba's after years. I was pleasantly surprised. It's a little place worth remembering: intimate, tastefully decorated, with a good selection of wines and gins.
The platter filled with appetizers accompanied our drinks was unexpected.
We'll definitely be back!

15/03/2026: Excuse me, I'm Veronica's partner, and I'd like to contradict you. You had the wrong customers, we didn't park near the restaurant, and most importantly, we didn't hit or damage any sidewalks.
The place is nice, but I'd invest the time you spend responding to reviews into improving the quality of the food...
14/03/2026: I don't recommend it. I make sushi better at home. Pad Thai and ramen too. We waited a long time because he's alone and wants to handle everything. The drink didn't arrive, so I had to ask again. €82. I won't be back.

13/12/2025: My daughter and I stopped for a ginseng and a pizza. He was courteous and welcoming. The lowest prices I've ever seen, both in Tuscany and Emilia Romagna!! And that's without taking anything away from the quality and service. Very satisfied, I recommend it 👍

09/02/2026: The quality of the menu is inconsistent. The sea bass, for example, was very good, perfectly cooked, while the cutlet was very dark; the oil clearly hadn't been changed in a while.
I think the side dishes were expensive, especially considering the small portions. Along with the sea bass (which was only half a piece), the order included a portion of mixed vegetables that cost €7, which probably included a medium-sized pepper and half an eggplant. For €7, in short...
The service is quite fast.

30/06/2025: I believe that in Montecastrilli, where I've been frequenting for over 50 years from nearby Farnetta, there has never been a pastry shop this good, especially the cream-filled pastries, profiteroles, babas, and meringues. Perhaps the tarts could be improved a bit. Overall, however, everything is very good. The staff is very kind and friendly, definitely worth a visit. Prices are excellent, but have risen a bit recently. If I may offer a piece of advice, keep your prices low and you'll have a large and enthusiastic clientele. Well done, and thank you.

05/01/2026: A 10/10 experience! Carbonara is a must-try, probably the best in the city. Attentive service and welcoming atmosphere. Unlike many 'tourist traps' in the area that charge the same price for mediocre food, here the price is fair and the quality is very high. A restaurant that truly delivers on its promises.

Beautiful atmosphere, refined food, and an excellent wine list.
17/02/2026: We returned for dinner last week. It's hard to ask for anything better. High-quality fish, meticulous attention to ingredients, warm hospitality, and prices in line with the excellent cuisine.

15/10/2025: Husband sick after eating the octopus for lunch/ that’s all he ate. The rest of our family is ok but we had pasta and chicken. Very disappointed our day ended up like this. While service was fairly fast- it was not very friendly.
Also, we rented a spot on the beach- no service there.
*** Adding to comment after seeing the reply from the owner- my husband had two Aperol spritzes over an entire day span. Not sure how you are making them- but no- pretty sure that's not what we are talking about. I would say those reading understand what I am talking about. Thanks for proving my point.
06/10/2025: Had an amazing time with the girls here for lunch. The tuna starter was excellent & same for the seafood risotto I had for my main. The staff is so friendly and the vibe is very welcoming. Shoutout for the aperol spritz’s as well! Grazie mille 🥰
