I had a Panino Parmense (ham, mascarpone, gorgonzola, and walnuts) along with a cecina (a type of pasta), French fries, and water.
The quality of the ingredients is good, and the sandwich is tasty. The final bill of €19 is consistent with the quality of the food.

03/01/2026: The best fried chicken I've ever eaten. Typical, traditional cuisine. Family atmosphere. Friendly, efficient service. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well, without spending a fortune, and enjoy traditional Garfagnana dishes.

16/02/2026: Early morning. Destination Monte Tambura for a winter climb. As we pass through town, some of us ask for a coffee, a quick breakfast. We notice this place and stop. We enter disheartened, thinking: "Breakfast with the usual frozen pasta and low-quality coffee." In the window, we notice some focaccia. "Shall we have a savory breakfast? What do you think?" It's satisfying, delicious! Warm, soft, and perfectly salted on top. So if you stop for breakfast, give it a try!
08/11/2025: On our way back from a trek, we stopped for dinner. The atmosphere was family-friendly and super welcoming.
We'll be back!

Beautiful place, I recommend spring/summer for the stunning outdoor space with exposed waterfalls. Super friendly and very professional. Excellent food! I recommend booking as it's very popular.

The young woman who served us was kind and knowledgeable, recommending an excellent wine that perfectly complemented our meal. A refined yet welcoming restaurant, well worth a visit.

08/02/2026: Saturday evening dinner at 7:30 PM. A historic establishment, documented since 1760. The welcoming rooms are like a true trattoria, with wood-burning fireplaces. Typical Lucca cuisine. We enjoyed excellent tortelli and tasty rovelline, as well as sautéed rapini, which smelled like home. The apple tart with two creams was excellent. Recommended. I've attached the menu, which unfortunately shows the price increase compared to two years ago (example: tortelli from €10 to €14!) that has affected all restaurants.
10/01/2026: We were passing through and stopped at this restaurant for lunch. We were immediately greeted by very friendly staff. The restaurant is charming, quaint, rustic, yet well-maintained.
We ate very well: homemade, traditional dishes, all very good at very reasonable prices.
I highly recommend it; there are few places like this left these days!
