We were in Lucca for 12 days and came here almost every day. What fantastic people. So hospitable and friendly. We really loved coming here and are sad to be leaving tomorrow. Thanks for the wonderful time! And the delicious Aperol Spritz!🍹😊👌

Good food is reasonable priced. (Roast beef and potatoes were great.) Espresso very good. If you are looking for cheerful wait staff, this might not be the place for you - the guy who “might be” the manager seemed to be scolding all the guys on staff. No one seemed too happy (hopefully today is just an off day 🙃).

08/12/2025: I asked my neighbors in San Concordio where they like to get a pizza and it's easy to see why they told me to go to here. This is a classic, proper place to get pizza in Lucca. It's not Napoletano-style pizza, but a more proper local/Tuscan style. It's delicious and priced extremely well. I recommend only getting the larger pizza if you're going to split it with someone. Otherwise, the smaller size is great for an individual. They also have slices if that's all you need or if you want to try a couple different types! Expect a 10 to 15 minute wait for the pizza to be cooked.
