19/08/2025: The food is always good and the dining room has a good ambience. But recent experiences have been let down by the sullen attitude of the manager and sommelier. The wine service is particularly poor. We had to ask 3 different staff for an ice bucket for the wine.

15/08/2025: A sublime expression of undisputed professionalism in every area: Reception, Kitchen, and Dining Room. Starting from the entrance, where the welcome is greeted with an old-fashioned rigor, and continuing into the Dining Room, with its perfect furnishings and table settings, Maître d', Sommelier, and staff. Then comes the food, fabulous, accompanied by a nearly infinite wine cellar. As an old advert used to say...there are many stars...millions upon millions...but Il Porto and its staff deserve so many more. Thank you all.

03/07/2025: The best pizza we have tried so far in Italy, places in Rome, Florence, Sienna, Pisa don't come close to this delicious wooden oven made pizza with thin crust and juicy topping! Usually we always take Margherita in addition to other pizzas to compare, this time we got Buffalino, and it was amazing!

02/08/2025: What a great pub!! The sandwiches are excellent, the platters are excellent, the service is excellent...and above all, the BEER IS EXCELLENT 🍺 BY THE DROP!! And don't miss the fries before you start...they've never tasted so good!! Excellent value for money!!

Even though the place is a manga site like Pokémon and Dragon Ball, the quality of the cocktails was excellent, with a wide selection of gins. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!”

24/07/2025: Loved everything about this hotel, lovely rooms, great breakfast, the kindest staff and perfect location (Lucca is amazing so would recommend to stay at least 2 nights!!). Oh and the winebar that’s part of the hotel is a must too

10/06/2025: My husband and I spent two nights at this charming hotel. The staff are most helpful and friendly and very attentive at breakfast time. The selection at breakfast was very impressive with fresh coffees made to order. The room was very comfortable with everything available for your comfort. Thank you for making our stay so nice.

30/07/2025: Super delicious, wafer-thin pizzas at an unbeatable price! We were here after a city trip and all ordered pizzas. The pizzas are exactly my taste: wafer-thin and rolled out very wide with plenty of toppings. A pizza costs barely more than €10 and is baked in a large stone oven. The ambiance and service were also excellent. A clear recommendation for all pizza lovers. Would come back anytime.
