Quintessential Italian restaurant. Fantastic fried porcini mushrooms.

This place is lovely. It's in a very central and strategic location, and offers a wide variety of choices. There's nothing to complain about regarding the quality of the food and drinks. The porcini mushrooms were fantastically fried, the desserts were equally delicious, and the Passito was superb. The same can't be said for the service. Or rather, the girl who served us was incredibly sweet and professional. The owner, on the other hand, was quite the opposite. He was arrogant, complained that I'd asked if the place served desserts, saying, "You obviously didn't read the blackboard outside" (spoiler alert: they weren't listed on the blackboard), and complained that we'd taken up an entire table without telling him we "only wanted two things." If three glasses of wine, a portion of porcini mushrooms, five glasses of Passito, and three desserts are "just two things," we have different views on the concept of quantity. I'd add that he was 10 times more polite to a table of foreigners, who ordered fewer items than us. Maybe they're higher spenders, but we didn't ask for discounts and deserved the same kind treatment accorded every customer. Courtesy costs nothing. But, given how you responded to some reviews, your behavior doesn't surprise me.

A thousand thanks, thank you for a (second) wonderful evening with great food in a lovely atmosphere, from the good starter to the excellent pasta and main course to a superb dessert. Attentive and prompt service and a welcoming host. We'd be happy to come back.

A small but cozy establishment in a charming village. A great spot for an excellent lunch. We had the platter with various appetizers, and it was excellent.

Had a lunch here with a family group of 8 and we were all blown away by how good it was. Everything was perfect - the atmosphere, the service, the setting. Above all - the food. It was sublime. As was the house wine. This is Italy at its very best. I would take a bath in the salsa verde they make
