My family and I had a lovely dinner at Kinki, located next to DOLFI. The parking lot was spacious even in the evening, the bathrooms were clean, and the service was perfect. The Chinese food was authentic, especially the spicy dishes. The fried sushi rolls were freshly prepared and still piping hot, unlike other places where they're always cold. We chose AYCE, but the quality is the same as the à la carte options. Recommended!

I haven't finished dinner yet, but I have to say we had a great variety to try out the place, and I must admit, everything is perfect: the excellent quality of the ingredients adds flavor to the dishes (uncommon with AYCE options), the impeccable and meticulous presentation, and the service as well. Well done, keep it up.

We went for Valentine's Day. The food was all good, but the wait times and service were lacking; several times, both ours and other nearby tables received incorrect orders after waiting more than 20 minutes, and some dishes never even arrived. The ordering website was extremely slow and outdated; it needs to be revamped. Overall, it was adequate, but there's room for improvement, especially considering other sushi restaurants in the area.

06/08/2026: The Gelatarium in Lucca is a nice change from the usual ice cream parlor. We really liked the idea of ​​serving our own ice cream and customizing it with different toppings. The ice cream was absolutely delicious. You pay by weight, and while the price is a bit higher than in many other ice cream parlors in Lucca, we thought it was reasonable for the concept. We were particularly impressed by the friendly and patient staff. We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back.

08/12/2025: I asked my neighbors in San Concordio where they like to get a pizza and it's easy to see why they told me to go to here. This is a classic, proper place to get pizza in Lucca. It's not Napoletano-style pizza, but a more proper local/Tuscan style. It's delicious and priced extremely well. I recommend only getting the larger pizza if you're going to split it with someone. Otherwise, the smaller size is great for an individual. They also have slices if that's all you need or if you want to try a couple different types! Expect a 10 to 15 minute wait for the pizza to be cooked.
