It's a good restaurant in its class. The food was delicious. The waiters were friendly.

Fantastic restaurant. Authentic food from Viareggio but elevated to a Michelin star Level. You really cannot go wrong with anything you order from their menu. Highly recommended.

Excellent cuisine. The tuna (main courses) was particularly outstanding.

Pleasant dinner with my family. At first, I was hesitant due to some dubious reviews, but I decided to eat here anyway to make up my own mind. We had spaghetti with clams, caciucco, a fried fish dish, and linguine with coltellacci—each dish was tastier than the last! The service was quick and attentive!

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, but it was the best I visited in Viareggio! I visited around 10:30 PM. Although the other two restaurants listed themselves as open until midnight, I was turned away because they were closing soon. However, this place closed at 11 PM, and I was truly grateful that they readily accepted me even though I was alone. I ordered the recommended pasta (Smoked Spaghetti with cacio cheese, pepper, mussels, and lemon / €22). Personally, the flavors were deeper and more delicious than those at Michelin-starred restaurants. It definitely tasted like Cacio e Pepe, but the umami of the clam broth was refreshingly lightened by a hint of lemon. As you chew, a subtle smoky aroma rises at the end, and the balance is incredible. It was a completely new flavor for me, so it might be hit or miss, but I absolutely loved it. The cooking was so perfect that I think any other pasta dish would be a success. The mussels were chewy, and although there were occasionally one or two that weren't fully purged, they were delicious enough to make me feel good. Feeling reluctant to leave without having a meal, I also ordered dessert (Dessert 1901 / €8). I am not entirely sure, but I heard it is a dessert reinterpreted in this restaurant's unique style. On top is a cream mixed with chocolate chips that has a slightly frozen texture, while underneath is a cookie with a texture somewhere between a biscuit and bread, soaked in rum. The rum perfectly balances the richness. It is difficult to describe exactly, but it was delicious.

A special place to spend a lovely evening with your partner or friends. It's a great location, excellent service, and above all, excellent traditional food! Leonardo, the owner, carefully describes the dishes and recommends top-quality wines to pair them with. An experience not to be missed!

Compared to everything I'd been told... I was a bit disappointed. The shellfish croquettes weren't my cup of tea, the trabaccolara was light without that strong, distinct seafood flavor, and the fried food was unsalted and tasted bland. Neither good nor bad... High prices. Given they've been open since 1901, maybe my dinner was one worth trying again?!
