03/07/2026: One star only because it's mandatory: terrible customer service. I'm giving one star only because the system doesn't allow zeros, but the way I was treated doesn't deserve half a star. I'm a regular customer and today I spent almost €20 on a takeout tray. I politely asked if it was possible to have an extra pack of pods. The staff's response was incredibly arrogant: "I'll give it to you this time," in an annoyed tone, as if to say it was supposed to be the last time. When I pointed out that I was willing to pay for the extra pack and that I wasn't asking for anything free, I was literally attacked and treated horribly. I'm truly sorry because I used to frequent this place often, but after such rudeness, they'll never see me again. You've lost a regular customer. Highly discouraged!

10/06/2026: Quiet little town bar! Perhaps because of its location, it has just a limited selection of drinks, anonymous staff, a bit of a cold atmosphere, but the coffee was very good. And I had a very good sandwich there with a bottle of water. They didn't ask me if I wanted a glass, nor did they ask me if I wanted a coffee afterward!

16/03/2026: We had booked with The Fork, they cancelled the reservation with the reason "closure of the restaurant" instead, passing by us to reach another restaurant we see that it is open...

13/03/2026: Truly excellent restaurant in the Darsena district of Viareggio. A charming and well-kept venue with a very pleasant atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the service was attentive, friendly, and professional. We started with a five-course appetizer, each one more delicious than the last. This was followed by a sublime Viareggio-style risotto, and truly special paccheri with calamari and shrimp. To finish, a homemade dessert: a simply wonderful strudel with ice cream. An experience I absolutely recommend.

30/06/2026: What can I say, just thank the restaurateur for giving me the opportunity, as a tourist, to enjoy the quality of the freshest fish and the mastery of the cooking... a restaurant without frills and frills. It attracts fools... at Lupicante you eat and the palate celebrates... at a FAIR price... I learned about the place by chance, asking a bartender at a hotel where I was staying in Pietrasanta... fantastic experience... the waitresses were brilliant, friendly and polite... I WILL RETURN... unfortunately it won't be very soon... I live in Varese (I'm a southerner who knows the quality of fresh fish).... but as soon as I return to Versilia... or to those beautiful places... Lupicatente will be a stop not to be missed... thanks again to Raimondo and the Lupicante staff... don't waste your time... anyone going to Versilia... and wanting a great dinner there's Lupicante...

04/07/2026: How did we find this place? No - seriously - no idea how we decided to give this place a go, 30 minutes drive from the shore. But am I glad we did. gorgeous location with a view to the sea. Nice and efficient staff - they were patient with my Italian. Dishes - simple but delicious. Antipasto platter with panzanella, local meats and cheeses - there was this stracchino cheese on top fried polenta that needs to be eaten on the regular . I had the chickpea and greens stew. Earthy and filling. My partner had the chicken and rabbit, as well as the arrosto in orange sauce. Each as good as the other. Meal closed with cheesecake and local gelato (with rum). And the view. THE VIEW!!!! One of the things I love about Italy is these kids of restaurants - hidden away but outstanding food.

01/03/2026: We went on a trip to Viareggio and Camaiore, where we had lunch. Clean, small, and comfortable atmosphere. The food was delicious; the pici all'ortolana were excellent. The attentive staff, congratulations.

17/02/2026: Excellent place, we had lunch after a tournament at the nearby sports hall, the lady was super kind enough to let us in even though it was closing time. Excellent products, friendly staff, fast service. I recommend it!!!

14/02/2026: Although it's mostly frequented by foreigners, I didn't feel like a "tourist trap." It's a lovely place; the lamb and pecorino cheese sandwich, with anchovies and dried tomatoes, was delicious! Recommended!

12/04/2026: Saturday lunch pizza: excellent, cooked in a wood-fired oven and generously topped with quality ingredients. Wide selection of pizzas and other dishes. Pizzas by the slice and an excellent thin and crispy farinata, cooked to perfection. Grilled Florentine steak, priced by weight. The menu is on the table on QR code. There's no cover charge and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Fast and friendly service. Limoncello is included.

11/07/2026: Very nice and welcoming place for lunch on a summer day. Excellent pizza. The staff are attentive and friendly. The bathroom is very clean despite the crowds.

05/07/2026: Bad service, they didn’t let us change the TV channel AT ALL and even made a whole awkward situation about it. We heard them talking about us in italian and even saying bad words. The ravioli came with no pecorino or parmeggiano, the portion was small but that wasn’t as bad as the tiramisu, which had ice inside, was not fresh and did not taste like it was made mascarpone - and worst of all, instead of powdered cocoa it came with cheap chocolate syrup on top. Almost laughed. Did not even take photos because I was so annoyed.

10/04/2026: Excellent food and very fair prices. The place has a great atmosphere. The table service was outstanding! The waiter noticed that we wanted to try several dishes, so he split them for us and served them separately. Great! Place is pet friendly.
