01/07/2026: The bar is elegant, as is the service. The decaf coffee is delicious, but the treatment the staff gave us was priceless. In addition to two coffees, I ordered a small dessert, which we gave ourselves, since we only had a few coins in our pockets for the coffee. They also said goodbye to us by saying: "Don't come tomorrow evening with the difference." What can I say... elegant manners. A rare thing. Thank you very much! 🫶

22/02/2026: We had a great meal, very attentive service and we were alone in the establishment. The Caesar salad was spectacular and the panna cotta and tiramisu were incredible.

15/02/2026: The food was excellent! The pasta is fresh, and the tomato sauce is made daily — you can really taste the quality and care in every dish. They also offer special dishes that are not on the regular menu, which makes the experience even more unique and exciting. Farouk, the new owner, is incredibly friendly and generous. He truly cares that the food is delicious and that all the guests leave happy and satisfied. His personal attention really makes a difference. Highly recommended!

06/07/2026: Very busy place with very average food. We had hamburgers and a pasta dish. We were supposed to order pizza - they looked good and came quickly. We waited a very long time for our food, and when we were going to pay inside at the cash register, several waiters were so stressed that they were angry, and it was unpleasant to go in… A lot of noise due to a large open space right next to it with children playing and shouting.

03/07/2026: We visited Mara Meo last week. Our waiter, Leonardo, graciously suggested his favorites from the menu, and we enjoyed a delicious pizza and salad meal and a very pleasant respite during a hot day of travel and sightseeing. Great food at a great price! Highly recommend!

26/04/2026: An absolutely amazing place. The views from the restaurant terrace are breathtaking. You get mountains, a blue-green lake and a hill with a medieval little town, all in one view. The food was excellent and taste like it was made by the family nonna from old family recipes. Very reasonable prices. We were there in the middle of April on a sunny day and I can't believe the place was empty. Such a hidden gem!

26/12/2025: This was our second visit, and the food was excellent. The value is excellent. The service is very friendly, and in summer, the terrace offers a splendid view of the lake and Vagli Sotto. A stroll along the lake is pleasant, but we hope the restaurant is in good condition for the summer. During high season, it's best to leave your car in one of the large parking lots.

06/06/2026: It's an old-fashioned osteria. A warm and welcoming atmosphere, rustic and decidedly pleasant, and exquisitely authentic Tuscan. There's a wide selection of excellent wines, and the cuisine is top-notch. Among the appetizers, the famous Tuscan crostini are a must. It's a restaurant where meats are a worthy choice, but the kitchen also offers some fish dishes. Reservations are required well in advance for this culinary excellence in a natural, outdoor setting reminiscent of times gone by. You'll be truly impressed and will certainly return. Eno Trattoria da Pepino is definitely worth a detour.

12/07/2026: We visited this restaurant and were truly satisfied. The restaurant is spacious and boasts a beautiful outdoor area, well-maintained and a pleasant place to spend an evening with friends. The staff also deserves special mention, as they were extremely kind and welcoming. We opted for the €35 fixed menu (drinks not included), which proved to be an excellent choice both for the quality of the ingredients and the generous portions: - Appetizer: A trio of bruschetta (with tomato, with liver pâté, and with lard and truffle). The lard and truffle one was nothing short of exceptional! - First Course: Two first courses, both top marks. Maltagliati with wild boar ragù and tortelli with porcini mushroom sauce. - Second Course: A perfectly cooked venison stew, accompanied by delicious fried polenta. - Dessert: An excellent way to end the dinner. In short: the food is excellent, the portions are generous, and the price is more than fair for everything you get. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

08/04/2026: Food to die for - which you might do getting there if you are not careful as the roads are incredibly steep and twisty. But make the effort as wonderful food, incredible views, lovely friendly staff, and very good value at €12 for the set menu (two courses wine and coffee!!!!)
