01/09/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo questa domenica , personale scortese e controllante ci hanno accusati di rubare il cibo ,sono venute in 3 cameriere al tavolo per perlustrare se avevamo mangiato tutti gli edamame perché secondo loro i gusci erano pochi rispetto a quelli che avevamo ordinato, insistevano per farci aprire le borse,(rido per non piangere),esperienza terribile sconsiglio in più ,non potevamo neanche modificare i piatti e sono venuti tutti a brontolare perché secondo loro erano troppi i piatti modificati ,con toni maleducati, e allora toglieteci l'opzione modifica!! Assurdo davvero .quello che doveva essere un tranquillo pranzo domenicale è diventato un incubo.

14/08/2024: Cibo ottimo e cortesia, lo frequento quando posso e mi sono sempre trovato bene. Ottimo anche per asporto con una birra e ravioli offerti dalla casa.

18/08/2024: We went for an aperitif after a day at Canyon Park. We divided 1 platter for every 2 people and accompanied it with a good Spritz. Next time we'll try dinner!

20/10/2024: Excellent food... the tartare alone is worth the price of the ticket, but everything else is excellent too.. Informal but very nice environment Owner always available to recommend dishes... If you find fresh or fried mushrooms then you're done! Highly recommended.

10/10/2024: The Napoli pizza I got was too thin for me but then full of capers, it took me ten minutes to remove at least half of them.

08/12/2024: A lunch after a last minute reservation... The vehicle is parked at the “Palatucci” paid parking lot and then a short 5-minute walk passing through the “San Donato” city gate. Another possibility for the vehicle is to park inside the walls of the Medieval town right next to the Restaurant. We are greeted by several servers who lead us to our table... Sarah is the first name of the person who will take care of us....The meal begins very well with a series of appetizing starters....then the dishes follow one another with great harmony of tastes and well-established timing. .. The service is provided by Sarah who demonstrates great professional ability and we are grateful to her... Our lunch: Multiple entries from Tuscany Tordelli with “meat ragu” (very good) Veal cheek on a bed of potato in mustard sauce (superlative! a delicacy never before tasted) The meal was enhanced by an exquisite dessert (castagnaccio with Ricotta) made with chestnut flour in the oldest peasant tradition in Tuscany... In conclusion: a magnificent experience to relive soon, I hope.... We would like to spend one more bill in favor of the table service provided by "Sarah". We benefited from his professional attention throughout our excellent meal....Thank you.

08/12/2024: The environment is very welcoming and the service extremely fast. The pizzas are thin and very well seasoned, with good quality ingredients. The value for money is excellent. Highly recommended!!!

06/12/2024: Total disappointment. I have always gone to eat pizza at Cicala, nothing to complain about the pizzas and the quality of the ingredients. What has certainly been missing is customer attention and organization. We booked a giropizza for three people at 7.30, and not only did we feel the pressure and rush from the waiters to finish and make us get up after only three pizzas, but the icing on the cake was to make us change tables with the pizza in hand for a table that had increased in number and that would arrive shortly. In the meantime they also forgot our sweet pizza on the counter and it was our turn to go and get it (by now cold). We go to pay hoping to at least receive an apology or even a discount, but obviously they don't even ask us how it went knowing full well that we would complain. The owner tells us the price and types the amount on the POS, without even having time to say anything and runs away making us complete the transaction ourselves. The desire to go out without paying was high, I had never had an evening like this. I'm sorry because we liked the pizza, but they definitely won't see us again. Zero customer focus, and this is unacceptable.

23/07/2024: Ci hanno accolto delle ragazze sorridenti, cordiali e molto gentili. Abbiamo mangiato un coppa di fragole buonissime con panna montata veramente speciale e una coppa di frutta freschissima con la panna, che dire ... da leccarsi i baffi... Servizio al tavolo, con posizione sulla passeggiata a godersi il passo estivo della moltitudine di turisti. Voto 10 e lode.

07/11/2024: .....nice place, even outside in good weather....friendly staff and very nice owners....the Tuscan appetizer, fettuccine with wild boar...but then, guys.... the tripe ....fantastic, double portion like my husband and I did...even the dessert was excellent

05/09/2024: Good and plentiful dishes, fair price. Location in a strategic area, practically a stone's throw from the beach (the TOP! dinner on the sea-view terrace). However, the service needs to be reviewed, with delays and oversights

27/08/2024: I went a few years later for my sister-in-law's birthday party. The place is nice with a terrace overlooking the sea, excellent air on summer evenings. Mainly I believe that the place was created for an aperitif or aperitif in case of special parties. On the terrace there is musical entertainment, perfect for after dinner but intrusive during dinner, music too loud, you can't understand anything when you talk to the person next to you. Mainly we ate a classic platter with some cold cuts, of which the raw one was not particularly appreciated by some diners, it had a strange taste and smell, accompanied by some bruschetta, olives, mozzarella, cheese and hot focaccia. Good fried pasta, with grilled sausage and chips. The two first courses, half sleeves with ragù, paccheri with fish sauce, inedible, practically raw, put on and take off immediately. A note also on the ragù, it had a slightly acidic flavour. The sore point were the bathrooms. If you don't want to catch illnesses, avoid going, something beyond all logic, it felt like walking on a floor of urine, not to mention the rest. My husband had to use paper just to touch the handle. People suck and we know this, but there should be greater attention from the venue. From midnight the place fills up, chaotic and long queues at the checkout. Nice for a quick drink, for me to stay in short. Friendly and helpful staff and owner.

01/12/2024: I was looking for a place where I could have a quick lunch but with two large dogs in tow and I selected this place. Once we arrived it exceeded all my best expectations: first of all they prepared a reserved table for us in a corner where the dogs could be calm (one of the two is learning to be around people), after which each course was simply fantastic. Excellent starter, the meat tapas are crazy!! The tortelli with ragù are delicious and the spelled soup is super comfort food. The staff were lovely and super helpful. In short, a well-deserved 5 stars, in addition to the fact that the place is also very aesthetically pleasing!
