30/03/2025: Beautiful traditional restaurant perfect for a long linger. The food is delicious. The slightly higher prices are justified by the ambience and the very courteous, elegant and attentive service.

27/03/2025: I want to start by talking about the service, which is excellent. All waiters very attentive and helpful. The food is very good: we ordered two dishes of pasta carbonara, both spectacular!!! Very good quality-price ratio. Includes a good amount of free bread. I recommend it and would return.

11/03/2025: It may be nice, but the eating SUCKS! Too many thickeners are used for cooking. They don't know what fish is. Accustomed to eating sweet fish from here, they don't distinguish the flavor or rather they don't know real fresh fish. Maybe by fresh they mean straight out of the fridge. And everything is frozen, the people who frequent it don't understand anything about cooking. It's fine for business lunches, otherwise it's worthless. Less than zero, even in terms of parking because it is located on a busy road and has no parking. Ultimately: IT'S NOT WORTH ANYTHING

20/02/2025: We ate really well, the service was quick, courteous and effective. The environment was a bit cramped but despite our son in the stroller we were very comfortable. Highly recommended (especially the tagliolini with blueberry flour)

16/04/2025: Came for lunch with 6 including two children. Good family cooking (rabbit with olives very good), reasonable prices. Some desserts are homemade and tasty.

09/04/2025: My son loved his cutlet in tomato sauce and potatoes which he said was delicious. My other son enjoyed his filled pasta with ragu. My bolognese was okay.

30/03/2025: If you are looking for a place without frills but with excellent seafood dishes at more than fair prices, Bar Stadio in Viareggio is a perfect choice. The atmosphere is simple and informal, perfect for those who want to enjoy a quality meal without too many pleasantries. The seafood salad is really excellent, fresh and well seasoned. The fritto misto and the fritto misto completo are abundant and crunchy, without being too greasy, with a quality-price ratio that is difficult to beat in the area. If you are in Viareggio and want to eat well while spending the right amount, Bar Stadio is definitely worth a visit!

27/03/2025: Years ago the place was good for the quality/price ratio. Tonight I go in and ask if there is a table, only an outdoor table is free the girl tells me, but now we turn on the heater, I accept. She turns on the heater, a noise that seems like it's about to explode and after a few seconds it turns off, I have dinner outside with 15°C. I order half a white wine, a seafood salad and paccheri alla trabaccolara. The seafood salad is huge and inedible, the paccheri are worse than the salad and I finish them quickly because the cold is causing me congestion. The only paper napkin they gave me is worn out and I use my own handkerchiefs. I go to pay and the girl tells me... so she took seafood salad, paccheri, half a wine, water and coffee.... it's €41. I pay happy to have escaped a nightmare.... €41 to suffer

02/02/2025: It was a simple working lunch, the portions were very generous and the simple dishes were delicious. You have the possibility to choose the à la carte or all-inclusive menu at very reasonable prices. I will definitely return...

09/03/2025: Lunch spent with friends, I had never been before, the view over the entire plain of Lucca was beautiful. Very good and plentiful food, very good homemade pasta, you can feel that it is fresh as soon as you put it in your mouth, delicious tortelli, fettuccine with buckwheat and truffle, (real truffle) not the sauces, very good pappardelle with wild boar (for wild boar ask if they have it because you can't find it on the menu) The grilled meat was excellent and the dessert was the apple puff pastry with super vanilla ice cream! Very good prices and excellent red house wine. If you want to go, call well in advance because it is difficult to find a place as it is very small inside, while in the summer I think it also has outdoor tables.
