The pizza is world-class. The one with sausage is a real treat. Lovely juicy, flavorful, and just the right amount of greasy. The only downside is the receipts on the floor and litter. Unfortunately, it's not the manager's fault, but the customers'. Other than that, top-notch pizza.

Pizzeria "La Rusticanella" is located on the Viareggio seafront, so it's in a great location. The pizzeria has become an institution... the pizza is good, sold by the slice, thick, well-topped, and has a good variety of ingredients, while the focaccia with ham and mozzarella isn't so well-topped... the seating is outside, and inside there's only the counter and the ovens... they don't sell drinks, but that's okay; next door there's a bar where you can easily help yourself. They don't have a huge variety of ingredients, but I have to say they're the ones customers prefer... Few, but good. Unfortunately, the outside seating area isn't wheelchair accessible because it's on a (very high) platform, and the pizzeria itself isn't accessible either because of a high step... Prices are more or less average...

Menu 👉🏻Cioncia pesciatina, a humble dish that has become a local specialty over time. 🍄‍🟫Since it was the season, we had a delicious plate of fried mushrooms. 🌳Beautiful location surrounded by greenery, on the slopes of the Montecarlo hill. Ristorante StraVinSky

15/01/2026: Nice and courteous. They try to make you feel comfortable, and over time they'll only get better.
02/01/2026: The restaurant is located away from the main tourist areas. It's small and rather unassuming. The food was very good and the service was very friendly. When we visited, there was only one table left, and otherwise the restaurant was exclusively filled with Italian customers.
