Everything was simply perfect! A delicious, peaceful dinner, a small and intimate setting, beautiful dishes (both the food and the dishes themselves), seasoned with kindness and smiles. Those places where I feel at home, where I feel the warmth of home even outside. Thank you for the perfect evening!

It was a wonderful discovery, everything was perfect from appetizer to dessert. The service, the welcome, the attentive service were excellent... and we loved every dish we tried: you could tell each course was carefully crafted with experience. Well-defined flavors, just the right portions, and reasonable prices. We were pleasantly satisfied with the evening!

Five stars aren't enough. We opted for the tasting menu, which was chosen by the kitchen. Each course was a pleasant surprise: well-balanced dishes made with exquisite ingredients, impeccably explained by the waiter. The restaurant is small and intimate. A great experience! I highly recommend it, and my compliments to the entire staff.

17/12/2025: This ended up being my favorite dinner of our entire trip to Tuscany. The staff was incredible and genuinely accommodating. I even called from the U.S. to make our reservation. I tried my best Italian, they met me with their English, and somehow we understood each other perfectly. This is clearly a place the locals adore, and it was evident the moment we walked in. I’m pretty sure we were the only tourists there, which made us love it even more. The menu was surprisingly available in English, though not everything made complete sense but that was part of the charm. Our server did a phenomenal job guiding us through the menu and offering thoughtful recommendations. The pasta dishes were exquisite. My husband decided to be adventurous and ordered a mushroom pasta (despite hating mushrooms) and ended up absolutely loving it. My ravioli with sage was unforgettable. I still think about it. I can’t quite pinpoint what makes Ristorante L’Altana so special. It’s a simple restaurant, nothing overly fancy, yet there was something about the food, the ambiance, and the beauty in its simplicity that made it stand out as the highlight of our trip.
12/12/2025: The maltagliati were excellent, but the tagliata was very salty, I couldn't finish it.
