14/06/2025: Lasciamo stare location, menù, servizio... Abbiamo vissuto un'esperienza ai limiti del surreale. Dopo aver cenato, ci avviciniamo alla cassa, si fanno due convenevoli mentre il titolare prepara il conto, il discorso cade sulla mancanza di personale che affligge il settore... e lì parte la giostra. Inizia da parte del gestore un comizio sul fatto che ormai si trovano solo "immigrati", che lui schifa perché hanno anche la pretesa di diritti come le ferie, la malattia, la disoccupazione... Mentre iniziamo a guardarci nella speranza di aver capito male, ribadisce il concetto, tenendo a precisare compiaciuto (sbiascicando) che lui porta rispetto solo agli italiani, e che i bei tempi erano quelli di suo nonno, che era una "faccetta nera"... Tutto ciò, ovviamente, di fronte ai suoi collaboratori, che se avessero avuto una pala si sarebbero sotterrati. Noi siamo tornati a casa dispiaciuti e veramente sbalorditi. Mi auguro con il cuore, caro Davide, che tu ritrovi la lucidità e la serenità per chiedere scusa ai tuoi dipendenti, che come noi si sono vergognati per te.

02/06/2025: Posto incantevole pulito e tenuto benissimo. Però per quanto riguarda il mangiare deludente antipasto arrivato dopo 1 ora e mezzo che eravamo seduti primi non buoni. Arrosto girato buono. Comunque non ci tornerei.

23/05/2025: Large but poorly located place, divided between the bar and the restaurant area, with tables also placed in the corridors of the hospital, so much so that to get a glass of water you have to leave with the pizza in your hand. The food is of low quality and minimally acceptable, while the background music is a continuous column of old disco music at a not low volume, which listening to it for the whole lunch can also cause a lowering of the intellectual level. The bar area turns out to be rather better

28/07/2025: Cinghiale in umido cucinato secondo la tradizione Toscana di una volta. Saporito e così morbido da non necessitare il coltello. Una porzione abbondante a soli 13 euro. Ottimi anche gli antipasti. Personale giovane, gentile e molto disponibile , pur mantenendo un alto livello di professionalità. Prezzo onesto

17/06/2025: Paramos en nuestro camino de regreso de Florencia a San Donato y fue una de las mejores comidas que hemos tenido este viaje. Muy recomendable!

28/04/2024: Abbiamo pernottato qui perché abbiamo fatto il cammino degli DEI. Locale molto pulito, caldo. Il cibo è ottimo e il personale molto disponibile.

30/08/2024: Tuvimos varias comidas en este restaurante incluyendo algunas recomendadas por el personal. Los platos de pasta son increíbles y también lo es Il Filletto, florentino - estilo carne de res. El servicio fue atento, amable y simplemente excepcional. La zona exterior está en la plaza, donde hay un buen ambiente y poco tráfico.

14/08/2025: Decent hotel. Good breakfast, fast wifi. Polite and willing staff who make a great effort to serve. It does not have an elevator. It needs renovation of the doors and plumbing because it does not have soundproofing. You can hear speeches and the water running in the next room. We stayed 5 nights, 6 nights and the sheets were not changed. Also the room did not have a trash can and we were forced to find bags and throw them away ourselves.

The hotel is in an excellent location, a 10-minute walk from Piazza del Campo and a 5-minute walk from the bus station, which provides easy access to other towns like San Gimignano. The staff was truly professional, yet friendly and helpful. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant. The style of the building is very welcoming, as are the rooms. And all this at a truly affordable price (considering it was November). I highly recommend Hotel Chiusarelli to anyone looking for a place to stay in Siena. ROOM Classic style, welcoming, and clean. The bathroom is modern, clean, and spacious enough. LOCATION Siena city center, a 10-minute walk. The bus station, a 5-minute walk. All the main attractions are within easy walking distance. RESTAURANT Excellent and high-quality.
