07/04/2025: Tutto buonissimo, crudo spettacolare, primi fantastici secondi deliziosi, un grande complimento alla cucina, da ritornarci tutte le volte che vengo a Viareggio.

18/02/2025: Ia qualità del cibo è molto elevata. Mi fido ciecamente di quello che propongono e devo dire che ogni volta che ci vado, torno a casa ultra soddisfatto. Ho sempre riscontrato educazione e gentilezza. Servizio rapido. Alla prossima.

10/04/2025: Scusate scrivo a tutti quelli che hanno scritto che non consigliano il posto! 1.il menù è sempre stato quello. 2.i prezzi sono fermi dal cambio in euro. 3 illocale è sempre quello! Ci sono tanti altri posti dove si può mangiare ma non dite che il prezzo è troppo alto! Grazie a tutti!

06/01/2025: Non basta avere tovaglie a quadretti e tavoli vecchi per essere una vera trattoria tipica. Oggi abbiamo sperimentato la differenza tra cucinare e "dar da mangiare ": ci hanno dato da mangiare. Nessuna portata di quelle prese al tavolo che superasse il 6- - -. Nessuna pietanza tipica in menù. Costo alto per quello che abbiamo preso. Non consigliato.

26/01/2025: L'enoteca è aperta. Ha solo cambiato gestione. La nostra esperienza è stata gradevolissima. Siamo arrivati alle 18, orario di apertura, per un tè con biscotti che accompagnasse il ns meeting mensile del book club di cui facciamo parte e siamo rimasti per cena fino alle 23.00. Ci ha accolto un profumo di biscotti e vaniglia deliziosi. Il posto è "fresco" e molto carino. I proprietari alla mano e gentili. Tutto era curato nei dettagli. Il cibo ed i vini ottimi. Abbiamo speso il giusto. Bella scoperta. Ci torneremo sicuramente anche perché ci hanno detto che ci saranno serate a tema letterario con.presentazione di nuovi libri e sia serate con musica dal vivo.

09/11/2024: Cibo fantastico e accoglienza notevole. Ho mangiato più volte da loro e il cibo di Veronica mi sta rieducando a mangiare piatti di ottima qualità e gustosissimi. Luca e Chiara sempre disponibili e sorridenti. Consigliatissimo!

15/09/2024: It is an excellent place for a quiet holiday: right on the sea, very normal prices, full board includes a place on the beach with deckchairs and umbrella. The food is good and the rooms are small but clean.

07/09/2024: We stayed the week of August, we had a very good time. Very quiet place, isolated from the center of Marina di Grosseto but which can be reached in 5 minutes with the bicycles provided by the hotel. The food is excellent and to accompany the dishes offered by the hotel there is a vast buffet of vegetables and fruit. The beach is adjacent to the hotel and in 3 minutes you are at the seaside. An excellent holiday for those who love to relax and unplug.

07/06/2025: Full disclaimer, we had our wedding there and it was perfect. The place is beautiful, the ground staff is great. The problem is the the manager Matteo, he’s very sketchy and not to be trusted. It’s a nice venue, but there are many nice venues in the region. So I would suggest you to stay away. They would go out of their way to lie and take your money. Things to look out for if you already booked with them: 1. Do not order room service, or champagne, or any kind of food or beverage to the rooms, they will charge you “service fee” of €20 per person. We ordered a bottle of champagne for 6 people. And ON TOP of the cost of the bottle (€200) they charged us €120 for this “fee”. You can just go to the restaurant, order it and bring it to your room by yourself . Or eat/drink at the restaurant. 2. They will make up fake items just to charge you. For example, they charged us €600 additionally to hire some chairs for the wedding ceremony even though they used the same chairs from dinner just repurposed them. Watch out for this make sure you don’t pay them more than what you should. As they will lie about giving you a refund but then would ignore your calls and emails to avoid paying. 3. They have many rigid rules, and do not allow any external caterers. Only there in house catering team. Therefore they are monopoly on price and will be a lot more expensive with very limited menu/offering. ——— Update in Feb 2025: I’ve been informed that Matteo has been fired from Villa Mangiacane, which is a very good decision of the owner/management. Hopefully the new manager is decent to do justice for such beautiful and magical venue.

13/02/2024: locale carino, cucina piacevole, buone birre, peccato la misura da 33cl e non la vecchia pinta. Mangiando, 33cl sono pochi, sei costretto a prenderne un'altra.

03/05/2025: Siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante, locale esteticamente valido, abbiamo ordinato due risotti al veliero , il riso era ancora crudo e poco saporito , poi abbiamo preso antipasto di mare e alla fine due dessert al pistacchio buoni, come prezzo diciamo nella norma .

03/03/2025: Locale arredato in legno come un veliero e bello ampio, nonostante fosse quasi pieno non era assolutamente rumoroso l' ambiente. Antipasto Crudité di pesce (tartare di tonno, tartare di spada, totani, e varie) delizioso e fresco, di primo ho preso i pici al sugo rosso con polpo, saporitissimo e mia madre risotto del veliero (impiattamento bellissimo) e delizioso, ampia scelta anche sul dessert, il prezzo vale l' esperienza
