The place is elegant, very sophisticated: perhaps you're in Paris, perhaps in the 1930s. But the owner's welcome is so warm and friendly that you immediately feel at home. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, the combinations are unusual but spot-on, and the presentation is meticulous: the best locally sourced produce, even the "cart" of aromatic plants, all strictly potted!

Wow was this both run and delicious. Maurizo is a great host. We talked food and wine and life and opera. The food was exceptional.

One of the restaurants that particularly suited my tastes, both in terms of location and quality of the dinner! Everything was excellent and served with care and detailed descriptions of the products! Flavors that are hard to forget! Exceptional tasting menu. A final treat included two desserts each 😍
The chef was excellent company and even treated us to a musical selection worthy of the evening! A truly deserved 5 stars!

Excellent food, great service and a chef with a wonderful combination of wit and professionalism. We arrived very late and half expected the kitchen to be closed, but got everything we needed and left fully satisfied!

This IS the place if you have been searching for something more upmarket, with dishes that surprise you in spite of their description. It’s a high quality establishment with excellent food. There are a huge number of good restaurants in Sicilia, but this is up a few notches. Enjoy…
