10/04/2025: Alors qu’on s’entende bien, ce n’est pas du restaurant gastronomique mais pour la promesse et le prix ça les vaut ces 5* Accueil chaleureux. Les boulettes d’effiloché de porc très bonnes. Les pâtes justes somptueuses… Une splendeur pour un café restaurant qui ne paie pas de mine. Bravissimo !!!

Behind the scenes, in the kitchen, Andrea and Lucia the creators of the sweet and savory sfizi! What can I say, absolutely to try!

12/05/2025: Truly one of the best places I visited in Sicily. We were welcomed by the owner, all staff was incredibly friendly. Not touristy at all, freshly made paste and no upselling. We only had the boar pasta and the fennel salad. Cute seating area in a small alley.

11/05/2025: A stand-out restaurant; food was locally sourced and well-prepared with good variety of dishes that catered for vegetarians, as well as those who eat fish and meat. Staff were friendly and helpful with dishes served at a good pace. We sat inside where the tables are set apart in a relaxed setting. Outdoor seating was popular too. The prices were slightly higher than average in Ortegia, but the quality was worth it. Do book ahead.

06/05/2025: Probably one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten in my life, and I've eaten a lot! The pizzoli "Diavola" cooked especially for me were simply excellent! The welcome, the quality of the products, the more than reasonable price make this address an obligatory stop in Sicily!

03/05/2025: In the center of Cassibile, a small town near Syracuse, this sandwich-pizzeria is very popular and produces only delicacies. Managed by father and sons, each one better than the other in the various tasks they occupy, they bring only quality, professionalism and originality to the table in the combination of flavours. If you pass by here you can't help but stop by, and if you don't pass by, come here especially!!!

14/05/2025: This is natural gelato that does not use any colorings, additives, or genetically modified ingredients. The gelato was not too sweet and did not make you thirsty after eating it, so it was very delicious! The staff were very polite and kind. They let me try a variety of samples. If I have the chance to go to Ortigia again, I would definitely go there.

22/04/2025: At Giuseppe and Alessandra you always eat well, whether sitting down for dinner or at Delivery. The higher than average price (food) justifies a service, a choice of raw materials, an attention proportionate to what is proposed. A painstaking and valid alternative to Catania for those who live between Lentini and Carlentini.

20/03/2025: Restaurant run by kids, but with a certain level of menu. Traditional dishes, but also refined ones (e.g. gnocchi with pumpkin cream, clams and black truffle). Good location, even with outdoor space, and fast and friendly service. I only came across it for lunch on weekdays, so I don't know if it's better to book, if in doubt I would. Parking without problems. Advised.

22/05/2025: The best Sicilian cuisine tasted so far

14/05/2025: This place is an absolute must go to! We got married on a private beach, just the two of us, and decided to have our private wedding dinner here. It was a Monday night and we had the entire place to ourselves. The chef created a prix fixe menu prior to our arrival and served each course to to us personally. Every course was Michelin star worthy and the presentation was beyond compare. They selected wine and made sure we had beautiful jazz music playing during our dinner. It was an experience that we will remember forever. If this place isn't already on Michelin's radar, it needs to be. Go here before the word gets out because this chef is not to be missed! Side note: bring cash. While they do take cards, their machine was *broken* and we had to scramble to get cash after our dinner. We didn't care because it was a perfect wedding dinner so the hassle was worth it.

28/05/2025: A very original dining spot. The food's journey is simple: from the display case to the microwave to the table. The food is simple and not bad, but unfortunately, it wasn't microwaved long enough. The service is friendly and fast. The restaurant is very popular with locals, but there are no alternatives, and there are no tourists either. Very reasonably priced

02/06/2025: It's becoming touristy now. Today the cannolo with ricotta was excellent, but the almond granita was definitely made with orgeat and certainly not with almonds. I must point out that I tasted an excellent almond granita a few days ago. Goodbye. Luckily elsewhere they still preserve the quality.

15/04/2025: Restaurant simple avec des produits authentiques. Un propriétaire tres attentionné. Nous avons mangé des charcuteries et des fromages extras. Une côte de porc succulente accompagnée de petits légumes et pour finir une sorte de crêpe fourrée a la pistache (de la production du propriétaire) top.
