13/03/2025: Unfortunately the management has changed, very bad surprise! Tasteless ice creams, brightly colored desserts, like in typical 80s country pastry shops. Little empathy with customers, prices above average, an extra scoop of ice cream charged 1.30 euros. Exaggerated!! I don't know how long they will last if they don't take action, in the city you can find better!!!

18/10/2024: The best in my opinion of course, and yet I have tasted quite a few which are scattered all over the city. but frankly go there, you will not be disappointed, these arancina are killer 🤪❤️ and 20 meters away you have desserts to die for.

18/03/2025: We went to the Perle because of the positive reviews, but were unfortunately very disappointed with the food. My husband had the potatoes with pistachio cream as a starter. A tiny dollop of pistachio cream on dry, tasteless potatoes; they could have done better at home. My main course was the linguine with shrimp and pistachio sauce; unfortunately, there were only a few tiny shrimp, and the sauce was too salty. By far the worst dish was the pumpkin carbonara. Also too salty, a watery sauce that had nothing to do with carbonara, and the bacon tasted so strongly of pork that it was almost inedible. Two stars for the service and ambiance; the food doesn't deserve a single star. We definitely won't be back.

10/11/2024: Curato in ogni minimo dettaglio, piatti buonissimi dall’antipasto al dolce. Il servizio ottimo e sono velocissimi, abbiamo ordinato e l’antipasto è arrivato è passato giusto qualche minuto. Torneremo senza dubbio

16/03/2025: Breakfast at the Nazionale, the last of many and probably really will be the last. I was with a friend, we ordered at the table where the breakfast menu with the prices displayed was present and clearly visible. Brief mention of the fact that the waitress carelessly spilled a jug of milk on my friend; a mistake can happen. In addition to the drinks we order a croissant and a pain au chocolate. Price of each €1.70 shown on the menu at the table. At the time of the bill, the surprise: the pain au chocolate costs €3.00! We realize it as soon as we leave, looking at the receipt and we return, convinced of a mistake, to ask for clarification. Response from the staff with a seraphic expression: they have increased the price from €1.70 to €3.00 but the price lists have not yet been updated. The price is displayed only on the display case on the counter. An increase of 76.47%!!! Having ordered from the table, should we perhaps have gone to check the prices at the counter? Given that such an increase is shameful, it is incorrect to impose an increased price without having reported it on the price list at the table. Too difficult to correct with a marker? Since the Nazionale reopened I have noticed other unwelcome attitudes but I have overlooked them, even though they were present but today the measure is full. The venue then, a broken promise but this is not the place nor the time to talk about it.

26/03/2025: The arancini are the best in all of Sicily. Not even in Catania they make them so good. And everything is delicious, sweet and savory: the cake with wild strawberries is superb and the one with tuma and anchovies is crazy.

10/09/2024: Posto strepitoso sia per fare un aperitivo che per cenare. Taglieri ricchi, di varie dimensioni con specialità tipiche siciliane e ingredienti di ottima qualità. Oltre ai taglieri si possono gustare anche altre tipicità della tradizione siciliana, bruschette o il pane cunzato molto saporito e gustoso. Ottima anche la proposta dei vini da abbinare al cibo e dolci gustosissimi e golosi. Il tutto condito dalla grande cordialità di Federico e Sharon, sempre disponibili a scambiare quattro chiacchiere coi clienti. Assolutamente da provare!

09/09/2024: Passing through Noto for 2 days, we looked for something to make a hearty aperitif nearby the first evening. We found a good product and good advice for wine! We will definitely come back tomorrow evening!

20/02/2025: Small pastry shop a little off the tourist itinerary but which certainly makes the best cannoli in all of Syracuse. Also excellent when paired with a muscat wine.

17/03/2025: One of the few places in the province where I eat well and without the worry of feeling sick. I am a very sensitive celiac person, so much so that if the food is even just contaminated, after a few forkfuls I have a very strong reaction and have to take cortisone. The pizzuteria has now become one of my favorite places if I want pizza or dishes from the restaurant menu which offers both sea and land options. The quality of the raw materials is really high, you can see that they really care. And, if I feel like it, there are also gluten-free desserts, which is not a given. The courtesy and attention to customer needs from both the owners and the dining room and kitchen staff is very high. I really recommend.

15/03/2025: I recommend it because the pizzas are the best in Syracuse; because the staff is kind, polite and very efficient; because there is no better broccoli and sausage pizzolo than that of the Pizzuteria.

16/03/2025: Ate good fish, nice guys and honest prices. Excellent menus which at a fixed price allow you to take multiple courses while saving money. I will definitely come back

06/03/2025: Historic bar in the seaside village of Marzamemi. The granitas are excellent (I recommend the coffee cappucciata with fresh cream) and the mulberry or peach cremolata. I give one star less for the really high prices.

08/12/2024: Amazing place, amazing food and nice service. We had something salty and it was not typical but very good. Also sweets were so so good and coffee! Not very strong and soft. Loved it.
