19/05/2026: An informal evening with colleagues, topped off with excellent cuisine. From the sharing seafood appetizers to the main courses and dessert, everything was excellent. The service was impeccable, friendly, and empathetic, which is hard to find these days. The atmosphere is simple, but that doesn't hurt on these evenings. If you choose Faretto, you're choosing it for quality.

17/05/2026: I had bruschetta, which was very flavorful, well-seasoned, and therefore delicious. I only had to add a little extra salt because I had a higher salt craving that day. The mixed salad with everything was also a delight—fresh, crisp, and very well-balanced. It's just a shame that the salad came without dressing, even in a restaurant that is certainly above average. Unfortunately, many restaurants in Italy miss out on valuable points with their customers, whom they could impress with a homemade salad dressing. So, here too, I had to order sugar separately from the provided ingredients for my dressing. A salad dressing without a balanced amount of sugar isn't a salad dressing. Or, as a general rule of thumb in cooking, where there's salt, there must also be sugar. You don't always have to taste it prominently; often it's enough if it just subtly enhances the flavor. My main course was a Pizza Capricciosa—and finally, after three failed attempts, I got a classic Neapolitan pizza. It was thin, with a crispy crust and large air bubbles, but unfortunately, the oregano wasn't in the tomato sauce; it was sprinkled on top afterward. Since my previous pizzas here always lacked oregano, I specifically ordered it this time. So I can't say whether it would have been included by default. It's clear that if it were sprinkled on before baking, it would burn. That's why it belongs in the tomato sauce. This flavors the sauce and distributes the oregano aroma evenly across the pizza. In particular, the untopped areas around the edge would also get the expected, typical Italian pizza flavor. This would make the crust even more appealing. For dessert, I chose a lemon mousse. Unfortunately, it was semi-frozen, but the flavor was a sweet highlight. A real mousse should be airy and light; this one had a consistency more like ice cream. As a result, when scooping out slices with a tablespoon, the pretty, round mousse practically squashed. ... I ordered two 0.33-liter Coca-Colas to drink. The real highlight came with the bill. Including the two-euro cover charge, the total was a very reasonable 29 euros. I'll definitely be back.

13/07/2026: This restaurant in the famous Marzamemi grocery store turned out to be a pleasant discovery. Fresh produce, excellent, beautifully presented dishes. Special mention for the swordfish; it melted in your mouth, truly delicious. I highly recommend it; if you want to eat excellent fish, you're in the right place. I recommend booking during high season.

07/06/2026: I'm sharing my experience in early June. A family of four with two small children. A two-night, three-day stay. At 9:30 a.m. on the third and final day (checkout at 10:00 a.m.), we were told we had to leave the property, contrary to what we'd been told upon arrival, where they'd assured us we could stay past checkout to spend a couple of hours at the pool. When I asked the reason for this "invitation to leave," the reception staff replied that it was because we wouldn't be eating lunch at the property, thus preventing the restaurant from making money. This resulted in crying from the small children and a lack of tact, especially towards them. (Clearly, the reception staff only showed their faces, but the invitation to leave was ordered by the owner.) Finally, the prices at the restaurant are unacceptable. €14 for a plate of cold pasta with four tomatoes is truly excessive. Highly not recommended for families.

07/06/2026: An experience not to be repeated! Nice facility, but terrible service! After a €42 lunch for just three pasta dishes (not even prepared by a Michelin-starred chef), we decided not to eat any more at the facility, and for this reason we were kicked out at 10:00 AM because, as I quote, "if you don't eat, you can't stay in the pool." We had to console the kids who thought they could spend another two hours in the pool before leaving! Highly not recommended!

15/07/2026: Excellent bakery and pizzeria. I love their pizzas and breaded ones, especially the ones with vegetables.... Five stars overall.

11/05/2026: Rooms are super clean, and was reading a negative experience of someone expecting breakfast at 6 am when clearly they say breakfast is between 8 and 10 am. Those who are not able to enjoy this wonderful hospitality, clearly do not understand they are in a real biological farm where you can literally eat fresh fruits from their trees for breakfast. I have traveled around the world and I pinned this place because I dream to come back here again.
