Sorry for this somewhat negative review, but the coldness of the waitress or the owner, I'm not sure, didn't exactly inspire confidence. And to top it all off, as a passionate caponata lover (I'm sure you'll find the Palermo version made with eggplant, capers, olives, tomato, onions, and pine nuts), I got a simple frita, or ratatouille of peppers, whatever you want to call it, nothing else. When I asked, they told me that's how it's made in Syracuse, but I know it's not. I know the one in Catania is different from the one in Palermo, but there's still eggplant in it. Very disappointed, sorry.

Delicious fresh seafood. We had such a lovely evening sitting outside indulging on fresh mussels followed by seafood pasta. We could have tried everything on the menu and are planning to go back again tomorrow night!

The atmosphere was nice and charming, but the dishes were nothing memorable. The appetizers we ordered weren't bad, but they definitely weren't worth the price, and the mussels weren't flavorful enough. The portions, however, were very generous.

Very quiet place, very friendly owners, and excellent food. The fish is always fresh. Every time I'm in Syracuse, I go there as soon as I can.
