02/07/2025: I went to Joy Beach with some of my friends in June and had such an amazing time. The beach was really clean and the water was lovely and clear. I loved the vibe with the music at the bar and the staff were all really friendly. The best part though was definitely the flamingo pedalò which was just iconic and so much fun! 🦩

03/07/2025: Possibly the best sandwich bar in Italy😎🙏 Great service. Amazing quality of food and an amazing shop to spend 15 minutes in. A ginormous sandwich with the freshest and most authentic ingredients made by a guy with a real passion and for €7.
30/06/2025: octopus carpaccio was fine but no real taste. Mostrazzo sandwich: the inside was ok but bland. The bread was dry and stale, not pleasant to eat.

16/07/2025: Family dinner after an exhausting day spent walking through archaeological sites and the narrow streets of Ortigia. We found a very friendly place with friendly and attentive staff. Excellent dishes, including paccheri alla norma and paccheri with pistachios, both absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. Reasonable prices.
13/07/2025: We loved the service and the food. The dish on the photo is the seafood rissoto. During peak season it is recommended to reserve a table.

15/06/2025: The food is excellent, very varied every day, excellently prepared. The staff is a team of kind and helpful guys. For over a year I have been going for lunch between Saturday and Sunday, when I am in Syracuse: all the dishes, dog or fish, are excellent and there is not one that has ever disappointed. Also try the buccellati and the almond-based products. Every time it is a confirmation.
08/06/2025: One of my favorite pastry shops in the Syracuse area, their ricotta di pasticceria is phenomenal. The staff is kind and above all professional. The environment is well kept and clean, as the only sore point it has the now unfortunately aged external veranda and by force of things (always compared to the external veranda) the tendency to be a narrow place difficult to use even for the staff if full. On the other hand, there is access for people with disabilities.

14/07/2025: A delicious restaurant/pizzeria not far from Syracuse, with a large veranda and indoor parking, as well as a garden suitable for receptions.
The menu we sampled on the three consecutive evenings we visited included a cone of mixed fried fish, a trio of citrus gratin pasta, almond parfait, pizzolo pasta with eggplant, swordfish caponata, mussels with pepper, and pistachio parfait, along with zibibbo grapes and sorbet.
11/07/2025: A great place with ample parking, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and a beautiful garden overlooking Mount Etna. A large playground for children. We went there twice during our stay – the service was friendly (Angelo was excellent). We enjoyed the meat dishes, as well as the fish and seafood, and the local pizza (the chefs loved them). And finally, the desserts… Everything was delicious. The prices were reasonable for the quality. I definitely recommend it.

Great spot for delicious Sicilian food and excellent service. Popular, so reservations are recommended. The mussels and tiramisu are standout dishes. Only drawback is the nearby residential parking, but overall a lovely dining experience. A solid choice for quality Sicilian cuisine with friendly service. Would definitely return!
08/07/2025: aLevante Restaurant, located on the seafront of the island of Ortigia away from the crowd.
The menu features classics like burrata, pasta and fish. The portions are big. Although the pasta was delicious the fish was not. Desserts were very good.
