17/02/2025: I am touring many cities in Sicily. The taste of pasta was below average for the price. The atmosphere was just so-so. The staff was friendly. The table cost was 5 euros, which is too expensive. Conclusion 18 euros, 12 euros for the taste and 5 euros for the price is not worth it.

25/03/2025: The planned stay at this hotel was unfortunately disappointing for many reasons. The double room was very small, anonymous, without furniture and with a small and uncomfortable walk-in closet for two people, not to mention the terrible smell of mold. The bathroom was always not very clean and the shower tray was broken!!! The gym was a simple "COLD" room, in every sense, with few tools and not all of them usable (in the morning I had to turn on the lights, the hot air and the tools myself)!!! The "EMBARRASSING" SPA, very dirty, tiny, boring, unkempt and unstaffed. The food was decent, but the Owner managed to ruin the only positive side of her hotel, with her lack of empathy and often rudeness. The Lady Owner with the blond bob, on the last day had the courage to offer us sandwiches to take away FOR A PAYMENT!!!! I travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels (including in San Vigilio), but this 4-star one only has the (imposing) external appearance of the structure, but above all THE HIGH BILL! Before booking I read many positive reviews from other customers, but this time I was wrong to trust strangers who were probably used to being satisfied. PS. UPDATE POST RESPONSE FROM THE HOTEL GUEST: read their response carefully to REALLY understand WHO YOU WILL BE DEALING WITH AND THE SERVICE YOU WILL FIND IN THIS STRUCTURE. GOOD LUCK

27/03/2025: To be honest, the view of the Mediterranean is breathtaking, but the vongole weren't disgorged enough. The sand crunches under your teeth... not great. Otherwise, not bad.

31/01/2025: Il locale è carino ma la cucina deludente. Non mi piace fare recensioni negative ma quando le cose sono evidenti come pure la presa in giro allora lo faccio. Ho ordinato un semplice panino al pollo e mi è arrivato un panino semifreddo come pure le patatine di contorno. Dopo aver gentilmente segnalato il problema, uno del personale ha ritirato il mio piatto ed è tornato con il piatto con il panino riscaldato e le patatine rifritte.... ovviamente ora erano calde. Inoltre il pollo dentro il panino era così duro che nemmeno col coltello si poteva tagliare. Mi dispiace solo per la scorrettezza verso il cliente. Nient'altro da aggiungere.

12/01/2025: Seconda esperienza al ristorante Il Tiranno per sperimentare le proposte del Menù invernale. Location sempre curatissima con atmosfera calda e accogliente accompagnata da sottofondi musicali ben scelti. Personale sempre super preparato, cordiale e attentissimo al cliente ed alle sue esigenze. È stato possibile cenare con calma e nel "silenzio" della buona musica; Anche nel nuovo menù si evidenzia una fusion food gourmet d'eccellenza,con piatti dai sapori sublimi, dai toni caldi e gusti intensi, impiattati come se fossero tele d'autore (come i desserts) e con passione. Durante ogni assaggio, è possibile riconoscere la freschezza e l'eccellenza delle materie prime. La quantità del cibo ad ogni piatto, essendo cucina gourmet, a mio avviso, è perfetta. All'arrivo si è accolti da un assaggio di benvenuto dello chef accompagnato da un flute,stavolta di Pinot grigio-Chardonnay. Cantina di vini ottima ed è possibile lo sbicchieramento di calice con ampia scelta; il personale di sala saprà consigliarvi al meglio il vino da degustare in base alle pietanze ordinate. Rimane una chicca il barman che proporrà dei cocktails eccellenti dai mix bilanciati e super profumati, a seconda della stagionalità: ho riassaggiato l'Hugo Mule...sublime a fine pasto. Stavolta, a gran sorpresa, ci ha accolti per un saluto finale lo Chef Valentina (a mio avviso dolcissima) che ci ha omaggiati di un presente firmato Il Tiranno oltre ad un buonissimo tris di piccola e super cute pasticceria post dessert. Grazie! Consigliatissimo se desiderate un'esperienza fuori dal comune, ne rimarrete stupefatti.
