I had dinner with my partner at this modern restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea. The location is beautiful, and once the construction work on the promenade is finished, it will be even better (the construction below the restaurant doesn't affect it because you can't even see it from above). The owner is very kind, friendly, and attentive, as are all the waiters; the service is informal, and that was fine for us. The prices are slightly above average, but the quality was excellent, and the portions, at least for our dishes, were adequate. We started with a tuna tartare, followed by tuna with onions, and pasta with bottarga. The wine list is also extensive and features good wineries. We'll be back if we have the opportunity.

Definitively a restaurant that serves impeccably fresh fish. The pasta with fish eggs is outstanding, and the marinara pasta is equally impressive. The walk from the heart of the city centre is well worth it. Prices are on the higher side, but that’s the cost of this level of freshness. Special mention to Francesco, the maître: attentive, welcoming, and deeply knowledgeable. He even surprised us with a beautiful artisanal Marsala.

I had dinner with my family at this restaurant. The welcome was warm and friendly, the place was nice, but the food was a little disappointing, especially the first course with pistachio pesto and shrimp, which was literally drowned in oil and too heavy. The rest of the meal was average. Considering this, the quality/price ratio wasn't good (too expensive for what we ate). On the plus side, the staff was always friendly and helpful.

Everything was perfect. The dishes showcased the chef's professionalism. The service was also professional. The view was wonderful! Prices were higher than average. Recommended.

I'll try to be concise... Well-kept place, tables overlooking the sea (almost the sea in fact) are wonderful! Food deserves top marks! The fish is incredibly fresh and nowadays it's truly rare to find a place that pampers its customers with flavors that only quality fish can provide, and every dish, from raw to cooked, is cared for in every detail. For the appetizer, I recommend you try the grouper meatballs and the squid ink arancini because they are exceptional! If we return to Portopalo again, this place will be the one we'll eat at! Also, how can we not mention Francesco? Attentive, helpful, polite, friendly, professional! Thanks for everything! Norberta and Roberto
