29/09/2025: On Saturday, I arrived at Palazzo Adriano with some friends and discovered Panificio Barcia, located in the center of town, on a picturesque alley just behind the town hall. The beautiful exterior walls are made of stone, while the interior spaces, with a decidedly retro feel, are topped with white cross-vaulted ceilings. The stands display aniseed biscuits, almond pastries, Palermitan pignolata, chocolate pralines, traditional sfincione, cheese and chard schiacciatine, sesame rolls filled with fresh ricotta... Everything is delicious, and even better! This bakery smells of good bread and exclusively locally milled durum wheat flour. Anna Barcia, baker and owner of this bakery for about 40 years, is an extraordinary woman: she joyfully welcomes both locals and visitors, offering samples of her many specialties, and is always available to answer the requests of her many customers. Mrs. Barcia is a brilliant woman and a hard worker: you should see how many delicious treats she tirelessly churns out at any time of day! Congratulations, Anna, we'll be back at Palazzo Adriano and at Panificio Barcia.

31/08/2025: The best bakery in this small town!! They close early, so get there early. The unwrapped bread (I don't know the name) was delicious. I pretended to want pasta, and the owner kindly brought out tomato sauce, cheese, and sausage. They also sell a variety of pasta noodles. I cooked at my lodging, and it was even better than the pasta place in Syracuse!

19/08/2025: Excellent pizza, well-seasoned and well-cooked, and the service was good. Since it's close to a playground, I expected a slightly more family-friendly place, perhaps with some high chairs and a changing table...

03/11/2025: Super nice people who create nice atmosphere and good pizza in good prices. Big size pizzas are generally 10-12 EUR. Pizza Diavola was delicious. We did a take-away, and it seems a take-away place, there is only 1-2 small tables outside, rather for waiting for pizza than for sitting and eating.

25/09/2025: Excellent pizzas; we've become accustomed to ordering from them. Takeout only. Reasonable prices, friendly staff. Recommended.

11/10/2025: I tried calling to reserve a table, but the phone number they gave me on the website doesn't exist. I would advise the owners to change their contact information!

19/08/2025: Cool and pleasant atmosphere, and very friendly service. He remembered us and immediately knew what we had last time.

25/08/2025: This place deserves a report because it serves bad alcohol, and you lose more to minors who go there knowingly because they know they can drink without any supervision and with the silent consent (they never asked for ID) of bartenders and waiters. The place is frequented by terrible people. It should be closed.

25/08/2025: Shame on you, for just making a few bucks you're willing to poison 14-year-olds without even asking for ID. Don't go to this disgusting place.
