19/08/2025: This place embodied what keeps Sicily from standing out above all others. A dinner for vacationers with a craving for meat. Five of us show up and are seated at a table inside, which I'm forced to appreciate, despite the heat and the mere presence of fans, since everywhere outside, people are still allowed to smoke rudely in front of those eating. People need to be legally obligated; respect and civic duty are nonexistent. Luckily, we were first to arrive, even though it was 8:00 PM. So, no delays with service. We skipped the first courses, ordering three appetizers to share and five second courses: fillets, tagliata, veal cheek, as well as a good 2017 Sicilian wine. All excellent. What's the flaw? The side dish for the two beef fillets, as per the menu, was "ash-fried potatoes"; the other three second courses included mashed potatoes. When the dishes arrived, they all contained mashed potatoes. Naturally, we prefer to eat hot, but as soon as one of the staff approaches, I ask why the side dish was changed from the menu, adding with a smile, "Maybe the chef didn't feel like making the potatoes à la citron." Unless I misunderstood, I was told the chef was on vacation and was handed the menu so I could verify what I was already sure of. Nothing more. I don't apologize for the forced change, but at least offer a half-word to justify it. Nothing at all. At the end of the dinner, I ask another woman in the dining room about it, who tells me they had a reception at lunch that messed everything up. End of excuse... But can you? If I order a pizza with chopped cherry tomatoes, can you just bring it to me with the sauce and not care? It's still tomato, right? What was the point of coming to the table before the dishes arrived and saying a few words about it? Who would have objected? Oh well, in Sicily, simmu cussi! I pay the bill, after pointing out the extra glass of wine I'd ordered before opting for the bottle, which is promptly deducted. I thank them for the excellent meat (not the side dish), say goodbye, and leave. Nothing is missing from achieving excellence. Except, perhaps, it doesn't matter. And as a native of the island, that's precisely what bothers me.

07/10/2025: The management is young and very inviting. Very friendly staff Fantastic Messina-style chops No complaints. Definitely worth a visit and enjoying the food.

08/02/2026: Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent pizza, and the owner was able to graciously and apologetically correct a kitchen error. I would gladly return.

08/02/2026: Beautiful, elegant, and well-attended setting. The pizza was good, and the service was polite and friendly. I wanted to give it five stars because an acknowledged mistake is almost as good as an error that wasn't made. One pizza had a cured meat that didn't smell great (it wasn't spoiled, but probably had been open for a few days, so it was edible). The owner's initial reaction, unlike the very kind waitress, was a bit irritated. However, he later apologized because he must have browned the cured meat and realized his mistake. Humility and making amends are the best things you can do. For this reason, I forgave the mistake and gave it five stars. I'll be back to try the restaurant; I'm sure it will be excellent.

14/10/2025: The rooms, though a bit dated, are clean and comfortable, with breathtaking sea views. The welcome service is impeccable. The breakfast is well-balanced, although the selection is limited. The location is excellent, just a short distance from the center and right on the seafront, where you can step right out onto the hotel's private beach.

12/08/2025: A hotel with a restaurant, boasting a unique seaside location and a fully equipped beach for guests' exclusive use. Clean rooms equipped with all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay (most have a splendid sea view and terrace). Friendly and professional staff are available to accommodate all guests' requests. A sweet and savory breakfast buffet is served, including a special mention for the homemade cakes and pies. The property's quiet location allows for a short stroll to the city center and the port. The property also offers a large, tree-lined parking lot for those arriving by car. The restaurant, located just meters from the sea, offers a menu featuring fresh, top-quality seafood (and also includes some meat options) and an extensive wine list.

14/03/2026: The food was good 25 years ago, now it's gone way down.. just a great view. Too bad.

04/03/2026: My family and I had a terrible meal. The service was incredibly slow. We arrived at 1:30 PM and had lunch until almost 4 PM. Not only were we unable to enjoy the food, I didn't even find it to be of any quality.

03/09/2025: In a small village, there's this bakery with good products, including crispy ciabatta bread, croissants, butter rolls, pidoni, and focaccia. It's a shame the customer service isn't always spot on!

29/08/2025: Clean environment and very friendly staff. You can choose from a variety of breads. The croissants are extraordinary, especially eaten hot in the evening. In August, this bakery offers freshly baked goods starting at midnight.

28/12/2025: The arancino worthy of its name is a real treat, the butter one is rich in stringy cheese. The pitoni and the variety of rustici are excellent. The focaccia is crunchy, stringy, and tasty, available in various flavors.

29/03/2026: I wanted to try again after a long time despite having had another bad experience, but I was disappointed again. They weren't able to express themselves clearly, and as a result, I lost money. And when it came to clarification, they weren't very friendly. NEVER AGAIN!
