From the first moment Mr. Salvatore was available and ready to accommodate all our requests and satisfy our needs without any hesitation. With patience and irony, which never hurts, he organized the lunch, even advising us against his own interests. He is a chef who does not limit himself to being in the kitchen, but always seeks contact with his customers, creating a welcoming environment in which you feel at ease. Excellent quality fish. Abundant. Variety. Excellent value for money. Congratulations to all the staff who pay the utmost attention to the customer.

26/02/2024: Cozy, elegant and very clean, Very good Sicilian cuisine with original flavours, I wholeheartedly recommend it... oh I forgot the chef is very attentive to all the customer's priorities. Excellent assortment of Sicilian and national wines. I will definitely go back. Thanks to the staff and especially to his son Giuseppe, a young man full of empathy and professional seriousness.

06/02/2024: We left the dinner delighted. They helped us choose the wine and they gave you an appetizer of bread made by hand so you could try an extra virgin DOP oil. All the dishes were exquisite and the dessert was delicious, in addition to having a very original presentation.

02/03/2024: A place that doesn't look like anything special from the outside. Once inside, however, it is refined but not too elegant. Excellent quality food, menu with not too many dishes but cooked with attention and creativity. Prices slightly high for the area but the fish is fresh and cooked very well. We took an appetizer "in our own way" more crudités. Excellent finger starter with fish balls, octopus on potato pie, tuna tartare and more (see photo). Then a plate of homemade tagliatelle with burratina, sea urchins and prawns, a second course of swordfish rolls with Nebrodi provola on a bed of vegetables. Two desserts, a delicious panna cotta and a wonderful chocolate flan. Two glasses of white wine, water and a glass of passito (offered) all for 84 euros, not a little but fair enough for the attention and quality of the dishes.

02/04/2024: This is the worst experience I have ever had with a restaurant. My partner and I asked for a table for diner and we were told that there was no table before 20mins. We came back later (20mins later) but we were told that there would not be any table before 15mins (while there clearly was tables available). My partner and I asked if was possible to book for that hour, and here comes the joke: the hostess started to mumble and told us that we would have to be quiet (?). We initially did not understand, so asked what she meant, and she again told us that we would have to be quiet. She left us after that. We understood that she did not want us in her restaurant, which seems crazy… maybe because I was wearing Birkenstocks ? Time to wake up, we are in 2024! Shame on this person and on this restaurant.

28/10/2023: Cozy place, pub style in a typical and characteristic village. The staff are very kind and hospitable. Having a large screen in the room, we asked to see the match of our favorite team (forza Lecce) and they accepted our request. They met all our needs. Excellent pinsa, exceptional ribs with barbecue sauce and the quality of the cured meats on the truly top-notch platters. 4 stars for the service due to the excessive waiting and confusion in ordering but all of this was certainly due to the full house and the festival present in the town. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a young and quiet evening.

07/03/2024: It doesn't need stars or judgements. I've been several times. I ate like hell in 2020 and a week ago. Less well in 2021 and 2022, but still at considerable levels.

04/03/2024: I celebrated my daughter's 18th, Mr Arturo was a really good person. The food was excellent, everything was delicious, the only bad thing was the service, the manager was a grumpy, rude waitress, the 18th started at 9.30pm and already at 11.30pm they were rushing us as we had to finish dinner, they took away the plate of a 4 year old granddaughter of mine when she hadn't finished eating the second course yet. To take the photos I had paid a girl to let me make the arch with the balloons at the table where my daughter had to take photos with the cake and the person in charge had the arch placed in a corner where there was no table. .so all the photos only came with the cake.. I reported the manager's rudeness to Mr. Arturo and he apologised. I should have celebrated another birthday two months later but one thing is certain they have lost customers and respect. I just hope the person in charge calms down and gets off her pedestal.

06/04/2024: We celebrated on two occasions in this restaurant and I would go back a thousand more times. It is called a trattoria but it serves haute cuisine food, in terms of quality and presentation of the dishes. Dishes with a delicate and refined taste. The owners are really very kind and helpful like few others. If you are lucky you also have the pleasure of having lunch overlooking a breathtaking view! Really super recommended!!!
