15/09/2025: A pizzeria that operates with minimal staffing. The pizzas are very good. The dishes are disposable. Unfortunately, the wine has to be drunk from a plastic glass, so I prefer bringing my own. The staff is very friendly.

11/09/2025: Pizzeria "La Gioiosa" is mostly a takeaway place, but there are also some tables (a little basic) where you set your own table. The pizzas aren't bad...especially the dough is very light...but I prefer a normal pizzeria where they serve you at the tables.

07/03/2026: Impeccable culinary experience. We had a seafood dinner and were impressed by the freshness of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the presentation. Balanced flavors enhance the flavors of the seafood without overpowering them. Attentive service and a very pleasant atmosphere. A must-visit for those seeking superior quality.

26/10/2025: Excellent pizza restaurant. The pizza is Neapolitan-style with a thick crust. Very good. The appetizers are also excellent. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere.

27/10/2025: Watch the campanile till the noon hour with its animatronic show of lions roaring, roosters crowing, and priests bowing. Then step over to one of the top places for pizza in all of Italy. Best and most Sicilian is the Pizza Disgraziata, which our server Marco highly recommended to us, and which New Orleans knows from Sicilian immigrant Salvatore Lupo as the Muffaletta sandwich of Central Grocery. But the pagnotta bread in Messina is the best we’ve ever had, superior I must confess to that used by its New Orleans cousin. A glass of house red and you’ll be ready for the climb to Christo Re!

26/10/2025: Everything is very well organized, from the service to the presentation of the dishes. The pizza I ordered was really good, with a thin, crispy crust, and the ingredients were fresh. I found the prices fair for the quality offered. The restaurant is also very well located and has a modern yet welcoming style. Ideal for a quiet, stress-free meal in the city center. Without a doubt, a place I would return to without hesitation.

18/02/2026: The owners and staff are incredibly kind!!! They have delicious croissants in a variety of flavors (the one with cream is delicious!)... the brioches with a "tuppo" filling are delicious!!! The coffee is delicious, even the decaf one!!!

19/09/2025: Hotel overlooking the sea... we stayed in this splendid hotel on September 25th and the feeling, from the room, was that of being on a cruise ship with a 180-degree view of the waves. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were impeccably clean. The breakfasts and meals at the partner restaurant "Nino sul Mare," located a few steps from the hotel, were also excellent. The pizzeria with a terrace directly below the hotel makes delicious pizzas; you absolutely must try the pizza with figs, prosciutto crudo, and spicy pistils... a delight! A special thanks to Giorgia, who, with her professionalism and kindness, made our stay even more pleasant and comfortable. Highly recommended!!!!
