The staff is exquisite and knows how to treat you. The owners are exceptional, and they understand that customers deserve to be treated properly.
If I had to choose one place from all the ones in the city, I would always choose ZIO ANGELO.

21/09/2025: Very good and small restaurant. Especially the appetizers are highly recommended. The pasta is awesome. Too sad, there was not enough space left to try the other dishes. The very friendly service lets you have a good time. Price to quality ratio is definitely a positive surprise!

The service was pleasant, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal, yet not intrusive. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, perfect for a quiet meal. Everything ran smoothly, without long waits. It's not a fancy place, but it exudes care and expertise. I left satisfied and with an overall very positive impression.

09/01/2026: After living in Messina for many years, I hadn't had the chance to visit this pastry shop because it was far from where I lived. I went today and picked up some sweets to take to some people outside Messina. I also ordered some cannoli, which I enjoyed with my family. EXCEPTIONAL! The wafer was incredibly crumbly, and the ricotta was excellent. A renowned pastry shop in Messina, those sweets in the window are a sight to behold! I'll definitely be returning! I highly recommend it!

07/03/2026: I can't comment...the website says it opens at 6:30 a.m. At 6:55, the shutters were still halfway up, with about ten customers waiting outside, and us, who'd missed the 6:40 ferry to have breakfast there. We left a little annoyed, and because we didn't want to miss the next ferry.

17/10/2025: Where you think it's just a dream, it's actually reality. Villa Alba, the tree houses, is a truly splendid place. It feels like a fairytale, the breathtaking sunsets change the scenery every time, all it takes is a cloud and everything takes on a different shape. The kindness and helpfulness... is immense. I've had contact with Mrs. Tiziana, who is extremely kind, courteous, and available, even to grant unexpected wishes. I'm absolutely in love with this place. Highly recommended.
14/10/2025: This is the second time we've been guests at an event at this location... the first was for a wedding, where I was blown away by the beauty and meticulous care of the gardens that served as the backdrop. Eight years later, for a baptism, I noticed that the attention to detail and the location haven't changed (perhaps improved). Everything was perfect, the staff was friendly and attentive. My expectations for the food were high, but they were fully met. What can I say? Overall, in my opinion, Villa Alba is the best place for events and ceremonies right now.

The food was fresh, authentic, and prepared with great care. The pasta and Mediterranean dishes, in particular, impressed with their intense flavors and high-quality ingredients.
The service was attentive, friendly, and very personal without being intrusive. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable evening in a relaxed, Italian setting.

The staff is courteous and friendly.
The bathroom, I'd say, is cramped.
