Il girasole In Barcellona pozzo di gotto

A bit long review but worth reading. I had dinner last night with some friends and I found everything delicious, from the starters to the first courses. Busy with talking and eating I didn't take any photos and I'm very sorry, but believe me they are really delicious. We had some mixed appetizers, very good octopus salad, prawns with a sauce I think mayonnaise flavored with citrus fruits and it was nothing short of a delight, it left freshness on the palate, same thing with the aubergine puree with boiled tuna, a light taste and freshness in the mouth wow, simplicity with taste and refinement, the smoked and fried foods are also good, I only took a few tastes because I don't really like them much myself and I didn't feel any crunchiness in the fish so I wouldn't take them again, but I repeat, a choice and taste personal, my colleague devoured them 😂 What can I say about the first courses... Indescribably good, the risotto with citrus fruits, shellfish and chopped pistachios, I can't even describe how sublime it was, I was already very full with the starters, but I finished the whole risotto because of how delicious it was. The spaghetti with seafood is super good, I really only took a taste but 10, the first 10 full, very good. All really good. For those coming from outside, the car park can be found easily, the place is small-medium sized, welcoming and not pretentious, in fact you really enjoy being in company and therefore I highly recommend having dinner here at the Sunflower 🌻. Everything excellent, quality-price in line with the menu, in keeping with the quality, service and refinement of the dishes 😊

Really nice place, we ate really well, very good service, I gave 4 stars simply because the entrance to the restaurant room is misleading, having only put the sign on the gastronomy side (as there are seats with tables and chairs). The entrance is adjacent (practically attached to the deli) but there was another name on the front door. Everything else really ok

La fame incombe e Tripadvisor viene in aiuto. Eccomi arrivato in questo luogo per motivi di lavoro ma la fame incombe e cerco un posto dove pranzare. L’ho scelto per le recensioni positive, ma posso affermarvi che non si sbagliavano. Personale gentilissimo e cordiale. Appena entrato ecco a vista pietanze gustose che possono essere mangiate in loco oppure portate via. Qualche tavolo libero e cordialmente vengo accolto e fatto accomodare al tavolo. Non perdo tempo ed ordino ciò che aveva colpito il mio guardo. Confermato in tutto, dal sapore alla quantità. Nulla da eccepire. Locale piccolo ma quanto basta, ordinato e pulito. Se mi dovessi ritrovare da queste parti ci ritornerò. Ops dimenticavo. Qualità prezzo? Eccezzionale…

Confermo la posizione che occupa il Girasole tra i ristoranti di Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto. Per quanto mi riguarda,avendo già frequentato altri locali in questa località, nella categoria "cucina mediterranea" potrebbe guadagnarsi la prima posizione senza che questo possa creare problemi a qualcuno. Va' premiata la ricercatezza con qualche punta di innovazione utilizzando ingredienti di buona qualità soprattutto se si tratta di pesce. Per esempio il "pacchero con pesce spada" viene servito con un pesto di agrumi e melanzane che rende il piatto squisito e profumato. Il sashimi "siciliano" , così improvvidamente da loro chiamato in quanto ci trovi anche l'ostrica e il salmone, offre del buon crudo di orata, alalunga, pesce spada e tonno. Bene e abbastanza vario il dessert. Molto bene attrezzati per chi soffre di celiachia. L'unica pecca, che non mi ha consentito di alzare il voto, è il locale. Ambiente anonimo e disadorno con una pessima insonorizzazione. In un annesso locale il Girasole offre la possibilità di acquistare pietanze già pronte ma più di uso comune e se si vuole di consumarle sul posto dove sono allocati quattro tavoli. Ebbene quell'ambiente da piccola trattoria è senza dubbio più accogliente e interessante.
