09/06/2025: Auf der Suche nach einem schönen Restaurant in der Nähe unseres Hotels wurden wir auf das Agavos aufmerksam. Wir sind auf gut Glück um 19:30 Uhr hingefahren und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Um uns einen Überblick über das Angebot zu verschaffen, baten wir um die Einsicht in die Speisekarte, die uns gerne vorgelegt wurde. Von der Auswahl inspiriert, nahmen wir Platz und fühlten uns an diesem wunderschönen, ruhigen Fleckchen Erde mit Aussicht auf das Meer und die gegenüberliegende Bucht sehr wohl. Paula und ihr Team haben uns sehr zuvorkommend bedient. Wir hatten uns vorgenommen, verschiedene Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte zu bestellen, um möglichst viel kosten zu können und waren begeistert - italienische Küche, neu interpretiert, aromatisch und kreativ. Wer in schöner Umgebung seht gut essen möchte, sollte sich auf den Weg in das Agavos machen.

24/05/2025: Granita con panna super! Non ha paragone con altra assaggiata in una rinomata pasticceria della stessa località, molto deludente. Anche i gelati, a detta degli amici, sono squisiti. Complimenti ragazzi, un peccato avervi scoperti solo alla fine della vacanza.

21/05/2025: I'm tasting my way around Lipari. I have been to eat gelato twice now. The choice of flavours are good. Not too many. The flavour of the ice cream is excellent. Very creamy and plenty in a cone. The staff are friendly and helpful 😊🇮🇹

05/04/2025: My wife and I went without a reservation and they still found us a seat on the cocktail tables. We had two Spritz (made with a lot of ice) with chips and olives, then we had an appetizer, a second course and a glass of wine each. In total we spent €105, the food was delicious so in the end (despite the Spritz paying €10 each) I can only recommend this place if you are in the area... also because you can enjoy a beautiful view of the strait!

19/04/2025: A place that is halfway between a delicatessen and a restaurant. They serve excellent sandwiches with freshly baked panpizza and some first and second courses. Short and well-studied menu and the quality of the food is very high. The sandwiches are delicious and very filling and the choice is really wide. Service quite slow and not very attentive.

09/04/2025: Last night I was invited by a friend of mine to this restaurant. Minimal, welcoming atmosphere and very clean bathrooms. Family-run place that saw us served by Dora, who explained the house specialties to us. We consumed a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses (all typical of our area) and a truly exquisite porchetta. We continued with the 🍔 "gourmet", their house specialty (a thin sandwich patented by them). We concluded the dinner with desserts (panna cotta, truffle and a sweet crepe with ricotta, bitter cocoa and chocolate flakes)... all delicious.. I dare say exceptional.. but the real surprise was the bill (just under €30 per person) so much so that we even asked if they had made a mistake because we couldn't believe we were paying so little for all that stuff. What can I say... quantity, quality, professionalism and convenience. Absolutely recommended!

12/06/2025: Excellent food at very reasonable prices. The fish involtini are impeccable - the pizza 🍕 is very, very good. A pleasant outdoor spot!

08/06/2025: Perfect Italian food!! My girlfriend is gluten intolerant. It wasn't a problem here at all. The gluten-free pasta was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it if you want to eat authentic Sicilian cuisine.

17/03/2025: Siamo stati di domenica con menù a prezzo fisso, abbiamo mangiato bene ed il servizio è stato puntuale , tenendo conto che la sala era piena di commensali, e cortese. Hanno una cucina tradizionale con prodotti di prevalenza territoriale, che dire vale la pena ritornare.

14/05/2025: Non avevamo mai potuto immaginare che in questo piccolo borgo di Taormina per esattezza a Piazza Duomo ci fosse situato questo piccolo ristorante. Decido di salire per vedere se fosse ancora aperto, la fortuna è stata dalla nostra parte.All’ingresso ci accoglie Luca cameriere molto cordiale e simpatico che ci mette subito a nostro agio mostrandoci il menù con tutte le sue prelibatezze e spigandoci tutti i piatti in modo molto semplice e dettagliato.Decidiamo di prendere un antipasto la famosa parmigiana di melanzane, e una caponata alla siciliana in agrodolce qualcosa di veramente speciale.Passiamo ai primi piatti di cui ci vengono consigliati dallo Chef Renato un duetto di tagliatelle all’erbette aromatiche e gnocchi di patate al nero di seppia che dire non ci sono parole per descrivere quanto sia stato fantastico conoscervi e vi ringrazio per la magnifica cena con la quale mi sono veramente assaporato Complimenti a tutto lo staff. Ci rivedremo presto

12/04/2025: Sehr freundliche Bedienung, gutes Sizilianische Küche, top Lage auf einer Terrasse vor dem Dom, ABER: teuer, zu viel verrechnet: Preise auf der Rechnung höher als in der karte, Wasserflasche zu viel auf der Rechnung, in der Karte sind die Getränke nicht beschrieben. Achtung: 0,75ltr Wasser kostet eur 5,-; ein Glas Hauswein rot oder weiß wird mit eur 10,- verrechnet. Vorspeisenteller mit lokalen Fisch: Lachs geräuchert und lachstatare war ebenfalls mit dabei. Lokal?
