28/03/2025: I can't give more because it wouldn't be fair. The food, in addition to the long wait, didn't seem fresh or cooked with taste or passion. The dishes, in addition to some raw food that I liked, I didn't find the rest interesting. The staff was courteous and helpful and for this reason I put an extra star. The prices of some bottles are lower than many other competitors. I don't think I'll return..

10/10/2024: Stasera avevo proprio voglia di un panino alla piastra fatto bene e ho proposto a Letizia di andare Al Vecchio Chiosco da Roberto. Abbiamo mangiato un Hot-dog, un Brasiliano, un Vikingo e una Piadina alla Nutella. I panini e la piadina erano croccanti, ben piastrati e farciti con ingredienti freschi e di qualità. Abbiamo bevuto due birre: una Ichnusa e una Birra dello Stretto rossa. Roberto è stato, come sempre, gentilissimo e il conto è stato più che onesto. Raccomandatissimo!

05/04/2025: We celebrated my granddaughter's birthday and everything was fantastic. Rustic of all kinds and abundant and finally 5/6 delicious focaccias. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Very elegant place. Exceptional owner. I recommend it to everyone.

21/10/2024: Second stay at Hotel Nettuno and the first after the renovation. The renovation freshens up the look of the hotel while fitting the overall calm flair of the hotel. Some places (like the basement toilets or the garage) were left out and now don't fit into the more modern and clean style. Sadly the renovation also did not include the hotels/rooms heating, ventilation and air conditioning, which lead to (subjectively) uncomfortably high temperatures in the corridors and rooms, due to the fact that the AC was already switched to "winter mode" despite warmer temperatures, so it could only heat the room further but not cool it down. The only way to cool down my room was opening a window, which helped only a bit and was nearly constantly open over my stay. Room temperatures still were between 21°C and 24°C, which was way too warm for me (as already mentioned on check out). The new color scheme make the rooms brighter, which is an improvement compared to last year. All was clean and functioning, though the bathroom of my room (211) seemingly did not receive the same care during the renovation as the rest of the room (forgot to mention on check out). Noise sensible persons should pack some earplugs for slamming room doors, due to the automatic door closers (mentioned on check out as well) or not as soundproof walls as can be expected in newer hotels. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant improved compared to last year and was very good! Breakfast buffet is also very good, but a vegan milk option (e.g. oat milk) is missing (though I did not ask for it to be honest). The location of the hotel is perfect for those who like to visit Bardolino (10-20min to the center, depending on ability) or walk on the promenade of Lake Garda. Bike storage is possible in the garage, though there is no separate secured room to put them in.

29/03/2025: I had a wonderful dining experience at I Giardini di Babilonia in Taormina. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, but what truly made the evening unforgettable was the exceptional service. The restaurant manager went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. His warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail added so much to our experience. Highly recommended – I will definitely return!

29/12/2024: Lunch on 29 December 2024, small but welcoming room, kind and professional staff. Various quality fish starters. The first courses were pasta ragù and swordfish and pasta with courgettes which were average. The venue is well suited for small events or single reservations.

17/08/2024: Un bicchiere di coca cola con 20 ml di bevanda e tutto ghiaccio L abbiamo pagata 5 euro. La cosa ridicola è che allo scontrino il tizio alla cassa ha battuto 4 euro e con il pos sì sono ritirati 5 euro. Siete imbarazzanti, ve li lascerei per pena 5 euro, magari vi comprate la dignità, perché a fare i furbi con i turisti spesso si perde!

02/04/2025: Cenamos dos veces aquí durante nuestra corta visita a Taormina, ya que la comida era muy buena. Auténtica comida siciliana, todo recién cocinado. Excelente vino y servicio también. Entre los platos destacados se incluyen la lubina cocinada al estilo siciliano con tomates, aceitunas y alcaparras; albóndigas de carne cocinadas en hojas de limón y todos nuestros postres. Los precios son muy razonables y es una joya rara en una ciudad con tantos restaurantes de pasta y pizza demasiado similares a los que encontraríamos en Londres.

31/12/2024: Far from the hustle and bustle of the center of Taormina, a few steps from the main street, a quiet corner where you can always find excellent food seasoned with kindness. I've been a customer for years and it's always a real pleasure to come back😁I confirm that it's always a pleasure to come back. We returned on August 18, 2024 and, as always, had a wonderful time. Excellent savoys, stuffed aubergines and mussels au gratin. A certainty that remains so over the years. Today 31 December 2024 we returned for lunch and for the umpteenth time I confirm that it is a joy to eat in this delicious place, now I feel at home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
