25/03/2024: I was happy when I heard that El Rodeo was going to reopen, and upon trying it, I was pleased with the quality of both the food and the service. First, I must point out that this is a Mexican restaurant in a small town in Sicily. We're not in Guadalajara, or even San Diego. But if this was my local Mexican restaurant in San Diego (where I lived for many years), I would still be back as a customer. The menu is limited, but the ingredients were fresh and the food was tasty. Service was excellent. I would suggest treating the tacos more like tostadas, as the shells were a bit fragile, but taste is the important thing, and everything, including the sangria that took me back to my ill-spent youth, was excellent. I look forward to my next visit.
