11/10/2025: Went for lunch today and were greeted warmly. The place is well-maintained and clean. The welcome cocktail was tasty, and the dishes were very carefully prepared. My wife, who is gluten intolerant, was treated with care by the lady in the dining room, unlike some places that make health issues seem like a matter of choice. The prices were "fair." Highly recommended.

Ottimi salumi prodotti con carni dei loro allevamenti. L’accoglienza è l’ospitalità dei proprietari ti fanno sentire a casa. Rosario e la sua famiglia sono stati sempre a disposizione per tutte le nostre esigenze. L’ agriturismo è immerso nel verde della natura tra i monti Nebrodi con vista sul piccolo paesino di Raccuja. Ci ritorneremo

20/09/2025: Excellent, high-quality food, a welcoming atmosphere with a great view, helpful, kind, and attentive staff, the dishes arrive with very little wait despite the restaurant being busy, and the food arrives hot. I highly recommend it.

01/10/2025: Hotel Metropole is definitely one of the most luxurious properties in Taormina and probably the one with the best location. You are right in the center of the action among restaurants , shops, boutiques and bars. If you want to go to the beach it is just a 10 min drive away.

29/09/2025: Tried to visit for lunch during the terrible weather on Saturday 27th September 2025. From start to finish it was a disaster. Told we were able to sit down near reception, asked for menus, then told we weren't due to tour and asked to go downstairs to their other restaurant (female member of staff with brown hair and Gucci belt) - other restaurant closed to due to the rain. Then told it was ok to sit somewhere else on the upstairs terrace by same member of staff and then told my male member of staff that food not possible. All very confusing and not what I would have expected for a hotel of this calibre. Mixed messages. Disappointing.

23/07/2025: This establishment features a pub-style interior with a vast wine selection, as well as a charming outdoor area for enjoying a pleasant gathering with loved ones or friends. The menu offers a decent selection of platters, sandwiches, pizza, and other appetizers with interesting pairings. Enoteca also offers an excellent selection of wines and a decent selection of beers. The service is friendly, the wait time is average, and the prices are reasonable and in line with the amount you consume. I highly recommend it.

02/04/2025: The best pastry shop in Contesse (along with Morabito). Welcoming spaces, friendly, fast, and helpful owners. Small pastries and ricotta cannoli are truly delicious. Prices are reasonable.

Served in small portions, one after another, on multiple plates :) Delicious and fresh, tried many times and always delicious. Spaghetti with seafood... mmmm :) I RECOMMEND P.S. 15/09/2025: A delightful place. A simple yet very elegant atmosphere with soft lighting on the tables. We started with a cured meats appetizer and then moved on to the pizzas... all very unique and refined. The dishes were generous and the service was pleasant. If there's a chance, we hope to return. We had plenty of beers, Cokes, and water, and we didn't spend too much.

10/09/2025: I placed an order at a pastry shop to enjoy Barbera's excellent products in Milan. Once I received the package, I immediately noticed it contained many more products than I had ordered. So, I immediately reported the incident to Mrs. Cristina. I sent her photos of what I received, and she confirmed it was a mistake. Even though I wanted to keep only what I had ordered and naturally return the rest, Mrs. Cristina thanked me for reporting it and for being honest by giving me the rest of the products!
