21/09/2025: We had four cones of terrible hazelnut and gianduja ice cream. They taste the same. The chocolate left our teeth and lips black. It took 10 minutes to remove the stains, and that doesn't mean it's of high quality. Afterward, we had stomach cramps and heartburn. The cream was ivory, not milky white, and melted to the point of falling out. The ice cream isn't fresh; the cone wafers aren't crispy. It left our mouths sour.

21/09/2025: "Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience today. I've always spoken highly of this ice cream shop and even brought my relatives, convinced of the quality it once had. Instead, the ice cream was terrible and made all four of us feel sick. I was very disappointed, especially because I wanted to make a good impression on my brother and uncles. I made a terrible impression, and right now I can only say I'm deeply disappointed. I will never return. On top of all that, after we had four ice creams, they even differentiated the amount of cream in the smallest cone. This is not the right way to show customer service."

25/08/2025: I stumbled upon this place by chance and it was one of the best ice creams I've ever tasted.

13/08/2025: While traveling around Sicily, we happily stumbled upon this amazing bar, ice cream shop, and pastry shop!!! A charming and welcoming location, superb granitas, a wide variety of quality pastries...and last but not least, the friendly and helpful staff. If you're ever in the area, it would be a shame not to visit. Highly recommended!!!

28/09/2025: Beware of tourist rip-offs! We were charged €9.00 for two regular granites. Aside from the fact that the price is already higher than at other bars in town, we were also charged a €1.50 service charge (according to the owner: "because they brought the granites to our table.") Absolutely outrageous and a rip-off. Such a charge is normally only charged by restaurants for table service when dining. We haven't experienced anything like this at any other bar in Sicily. We won't be visiting this bar again.

08/10/2025: I recently visited Pizzeria di Antenati in Messina, and I must say it was a truly perfect experience in every way! We ordered both gluten-free pizza and a gluten-free appetizer, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients and the care with which everything was prepared. The ingredients are fresh, the pizzas light and tasty, and the attention to detail is evident in every dish. The staff is truly a strong point: courteous, helpful, and above all, attentive to customer needs, including those with food intolerances. It's rare to find such attentive and professional service! Another very positive note is the restrooms, impeccably clean and fragrant, a sign of careful and respectful customer service.

05/09/2025: So I went to this bar in Milazzo when I had just disembarked from the ship. I had two small strawberry cones and then one hazelnut one. They were delicious, exquisite, finger-licking good, but the problem is that I didn't give it 5 stars because the prices are lowered. Normally they cost €1 each, but here they cost €1.50 each, which is a bit high. The service was phenomenal, and the waiter was super nice and polite, and even wanted me to save myself the trouble of carrying a suitcase. This is my review, go there.

20/09/2025: Dinner with my wife, we chose a truly excellent fish platter accompanied by a white pizza with olive oil and oregano fresh from the wood-fired oven. The waiters brought pizzas to the tables for other customers, which looked inviting. Excellent fish, friendly, and professional, from everyone. I will definitely return with the rest of the family. Choosing the fish, preparing it, and serving it at the tables is a skill that you at Frontemare know and apply. Thank you

It's a shame, because the staff was very polite and helpful; they did their best to make the evening enjoyable, even though the food service left much to be desired. 17/08/2025: Where to begin? Perfect wouldn't be the full story! We had to organize the wedding remotely, living in Switzerland, so we had no time to think about the details. Antonella was incredibly available from the very first moment, accommodating our every request and helping us with everything. The wedding day was absolutely magnificent; Antonio and the staff were exceptionally professional, attentive to every detail. The venue was stunning, a portrait of rural Sicily...a dream. The food was extraordinary and breathtaking. Our guests, from all over Europe and the world, were all ecstatic. We couldn't have asked for anything better! I'd love to get married again just to have another party at the Casale!! Thank you for everything!!! Claudia and Federico

21/09/2025: We paid €25 per person in advance by bank transfer for the evening, which was a partnership with Nennella. It was a complete rip-off. The menu included DOP buffalo mozzarella with tomato and olives as an appetizer, pasta and potatoes as a first course, seasoned bread (their famous and delicious seasoned bread) as a second course, and baba for dessert. In reality, they brought us a skewer of mozzarella and tomato bites along with a slice of COLD and ICED seasoned bread, a small bowl of pasta with provola and potatoes for the first course, and a mini baba for dessert. And the second course?! We never imagined it would be that. A piece of bread that arrived with the "appetizer." We were disappointed; it was our first time there, and we wanted to try the much-vaunted seasoned bread, but it was awful! What a shame! I won't be back!

14/09/2025: Yes, okay, a nice place with attentive staff. A good effort isn't really a good job. The pizza was okay (but not really more than that). My fish arrived when my husband had finished his pizza (which wasn't prepared in a flash, since most of the guests here seem to only eat pizza): a "local" fish (forgot the name), grilled, for a whopping €31.50 (!!!) for 450g – about 150 meters from the sea or the harbor. But it was prepared with absolutely insignificant flavor and without any refinement (spices, herb/garlic butter, etc.), not a separate plate for the bones! Along with a few thin slices of run-of-the-mill white bread, and for another €7, a small plate with a handful of thin slices of eggplant and zucchini (I'd completely skipped the tomatoes). Salt, pepper, and oil were only available upon request, and toward the end, the staff (several times!) took your plates from the table while you were still holding your cutlery and chewing, regardless of whether you might have wanted to eat the remaining bread with olive oil, for example. Friends of Italian cuisine: I can get a meal like this in the middle of Germany, in Munich, hundreds of kilometers from the nearest sea, much tastier, more lovingly prepared, and even cheaper – that's simply unheard of! Completely overpriced and overrated.

23/09/2025: As always, a charming place where, in addition to excellent cuisine, you can breathe in the fresh mountain air. For me, it's a must-visit when I'm at the seaside in nearby Testa di Monaco in Capo d'Orlando. The food is generous and the prices are reasonable. Equally important is the family-like welcome from owner Alessio and his wife.
