14/08/2024: We had a great time. We took two Messina granitas with cream and brioche. One with pistachio and one with fabulous hazelnut. The place was very clean with air conditioning. The service was impeccable and they were very kind. We will definitely return and if you are in the area and want a refreshing break I recommend it.

26/07/2024: Delicious food in a beautiful, historic place. The pastas (lasagna and pasta alla norma) were OK, but we were particularly impressed by the desserts. Tiramisu San Giorgio with Blandanino almond wine is an excellent dessert combination, served in a place that has been making them for over a hundred years. We were impressed :)

I am celiac and lactose intolerant and here I was able to taste the pan pizza; I chose it with lactose-free mozzarella, sausage and pepper mayonnaise and I must say that it was nothing short of exquisite. I highly recommend it to all celiacs passing through Messina. It is located in a beautiful area of ​​Messina near the cathedral.

18/05/2024: We recently had a wonderful meal at St. George. We had the 7-course tasting menu, though it ended up being a lot more because there were 6 canapes, a bread course and 6 petit fours. It was all delicious and perhaps the most exquisitely-looking food I've ever seen. The service was also excellent - attentive without it being pretention, although I thought the multiple-page Water Menu (divided by domestic water, international water, still water, sparking water, etc. where I think the most expensive bottle was 38 euros) and the similar Coffee Menu were a bit much. Overall, while It's not cheap, we thought it was worth it. At the end of the meal, the chef came out and stopped by all of the tables, which was nice.

Well-seasoned pizzas, good dough, tasty at the right level, wide variety with tasty ingredients. We didn't have to wait long for both the starters and the pizzas, a sign of good organisation. Absolutely recommended place.

11/07/2024: Ho acquistato una torta per la laurea di mia figlia: bella esteticamente e buonissima all'interno con crema chantilly e fragoline. Ilaria, la moglie del titolare super fantastica: è stata molto brava nel consigliarci e disponibilissima. È stata direttamente lei a consegnare la torta insieme a dei cornettini gelato super buoni anch'essi al ristorante. Consiglio vivamente di provare.

It has a small menu, but everything we tried tasted excellent, and the ingredients were top quality. The price-quality ratio is very good, since this town is one of the most expensive on the entire island. A great discovery!!!
