01/05/2025: We stayed this evening and had a very good time. it's on the seafront but not in the middle of the chaos, slightly further away, so it's better. The place is very nice, the food good: we ate pizza and hamburgers, both excellent. Very friendly staff.

07/03/2025: Almeno una volta all'anno facciamo una visita da Balice, l'unico ristorante di Milazzo che può veramente definirsi gourmet e con potenzialità da guida Michelin. Piatti originali ma sempre basati essenzialmente su materie prime locali. Certo le porzioni di ogni piatto non sono da trattoria (ad esempio sul primo di pasta si potrebbe essere un po' più generosi), ma scegliendo uno dei 2 menù degustazione (scelta raccomandatissima), non ci si alza certo con la fame. Qualità delle materie prime eccellente, lavorate nella cucina a vista con mano esperta dal giovane chef Caravello. Cantina adeguata. In corso il trasferimento del locale in una nuova e più centrale location.

24/11/2024: Era da tempo che volevamo provare la cucina del giovane ma promettente chef Caravello. Aspettative non deluse. Ambiente molto bello, ben curato e soprattutto rilassante. La cucina a vista, come sempre è un plus. Provato il menù degustazione da 5 portate. Tutto molto ben eseguito ed equilibrato. Staff molto cortese e preparato. Prezzi giusti, carta dei vini molto ben diversificata Vi auguro davvero il meglio e tanti successi.

08/03/2025: An old style coffee shop frequented by a lot of locals. The owner was very nice and made us feel welcome. Super delicious sweets, best of all were the rock cakes with dark chocolate. Insanely cheap and very, very good coffee! Highly recommended 😊 grazie senore! 🌟

07/08/2024: Un gran bel aperitivo. Una sorpresa per un bel ristoro prima di procedere verso il Castello per assistere alla spettacolo di Panariello e Masini. Maria Paola, una delle tre ideatrici del locale, è stata un vero tesoro, accogliente e sorridente, ha subito intuito cosa poteva darci un po' di energia in una serata dal caldo tipico siciliano. Io e la mia amica abbiamo gradito e ci siamo subito promesse di tornare, anche per scegliere uno di quei cocktail, molto invitanti, che passavano sotto i nostri occhi :-).

29/05/2025: Excellent welcome, clean rooms and excellent quality restaurant. Beautiful location about 20 meters from the sea and very close to all services. The only flaw, the hotel is not responsible for parking.

12/05/2025: I absolutely recommend a visit to this restaurant in Marina di Pizzo. This is the second time I've eaten here. On the first one I was inside and on this last occasion I was outside. There were two of us and we ate spaghetti with anchovies, grilled calamari on pea cream and Mediterranean swordfish. Very good dishes. I found a high level of preparation and excellent raw materials. The portions were correct, almost abundant. The accompanying bread was also very good. The service, then, was quick and accurate, never intrusive. Fair prices and adequate for the quality of the menu. A note of merit also goes to the background music, always at a level that does not disturb the conversation. Parking, in the April/May period, not difficult.

12/06/2025: È stato un ottimo incontro con una cucina che ha materie prime eccellenti e coraggio nell'uscire dal super classico di pesce. Ogni piatto ha una sua identità, ben bilanciata e che ti lascia la soddisfazione di aver provato qualcosa di nuovo e meno banale. Conto nella norma, servizio accurato.

03/06/2025: The experience at the restaurant for a dinner was amazing. The staff and owner were welcoming and friendly while the view on the sea was breathtaking. The fish/seafood discovery menu was so fresh, tasty and a good bang for the buck. We are for sure coming back during our next trip to Sicily!!

18/05/2025: We returned after a few years here at the IL PADRINO Restaurant in Forza d'Agrò, what can I say, we found it just as we left it.... Attentive, kind and polite staff. Excellent food in quantity and also in quality. Only appetizers 25 euros (about 15 courses) Appetizers and first course (3 first courses) 35 euros... Complete with the second course 45 euros... They bring you included in the price, water, bitters, limoncello, liqueur, sorbet, sweets, cannoli, fruit..... In short, what more do you want. . I highly recommend. Compliments for the availability and kindness that are priceless.

25/05/2025: Questo locale è l’ideale per chi cerca un ambiente informale ma curato, perfetto per trascorrere una buona serata in compagnia. L’atmosfera è calda e accogliente, con un arredamento che mette subito a proprio agio. Uno dei suoi punti di forza è sicuramente la vasta scelta di birre, sia alla spina che in bottiglia, con proposte adatte a tutti i gusti — dai classici intramontabili alle artigianali più ricercate. Anche i posti a sedere sono ben distribuiti, offrendo spazi comodi sia per gruppi numerosi che per chi preferisce un po’ di tranquillità. Un locale che sa come far sentire i clienti a casa, ideale per chi ama la buona compagnia!

03/06/2025: The restaurant is nice enough although quite brightly lit in the evening which did give it an odd atmosphere. The waitress was charming and very helpful. However the food was disappointing. We had the sardine spaghetti (which was unbearably salty) and then another sardine and tomato linguine with breadcrumbs which was better, but still very salty. It wasn’t much better than what you could make at home with good ingredients. I did note that the people next to us also didn’t finish their meal as it was too salty. A shame as it was hyped up to be delicious.

02/06/2025: Pasta no better than what’s capable being made at home. The atmosphere and service do not make up for the quality of food.

29/05/2025: Wow... we spent three days in Rome, five days in Puglia and the last seven days in Taormina And this was by far the best Experience. Up the beautiful white steps just above Corso Umberto we were lucky enough to check it out, and the food was incredible. The service was outstanding… I hope you get the chance to try it.
