17/10/2025: The accommodation is beautifully landscaped. The room is clean and spacious. Tanja is very friendly and helpful at breakfast. She also speaks German. As a German, you'll need plenty of time at the restaurant. From appetizer to main course, it takes 1.5 hours. We were told that's normal in Sicily. 🤔 We'll see, we'll try a different restaurant tomorrow.

29/09/2025: Sunday lunch featuring meat, appetizers, first courses, and second courses. Little to no organization, too long to order, and orders randomly, people waiting half an hour to order, and the last ones to arrive ordered first. Let's start with the appetizers: besides arriving randomly and not in order of arrival, the dishes were large in quantity but of poor quality. The first courses (fresh macaroni with pork sauce and tagliatelle with mushrooms) were tough pasta and flavorless in sauce, all left on the plate. After eating the second courses in installments, I couldn't eat them. My children waited two hours for their meal; the cutlet didn't taste like a cutlet, but it looked and tasted awful, it tasted like fish. The meat was falling apart and left on the plate. I reported all my complaints to the waitress, who told me I'd refresh it in the kitchen, but she didn't respond. I imagine the owner pretending not to notice, so I paid my bill and left. Highly not recommended.

15/09/2025: Awful service. Awful food. Staff more concerned with themselves than the service or food. Tried to charge us for water we didn’t even have. We tried to tell one server he had been our only good part of our evening and he sent another server over as he said we had complained about him and the other server came over on the defensive asking why we had complained. We had oysters to start but they were still attached to the shell. Our mains were ok but as soon as my husband finished his dish they took it away as I was still eating which made me rush as the staff all just wanted us to finish as they were sitting down to eat themselves. We kept to then try to get there attention to get more drinks or just the bill and it seemed such an inconvenience to them. They were not nice at all. Will not return

27/07/2025: We spontaneously visited the pizzeria this evening after the restaurant we had originally planned was closed. It turned out to be a stroke of luck, as we were treated to the best pizza at Pizzeria Cappuccini. My husband and I were absolutely thrilled! The value for money is more than fair, and the dishes we chose exceeded our expectations. Add to that a truly Italian atmosphere. Five stars from us ❤️

20/07/2025: The best pizza in Siena. Very hidden if you're not actively looking for it. We stumbled upon this place because of its proximity to our hotel, and it couldn't have been more perfect. A pizzeria for locals with reasonable prices and excellent quality. We went there three times in total, and each pizza had something very special about it. The tiramisu is particularly recommended, and you should definitely try a "red pizza." All of this is a huge distraction from the fact that you're unfortunately sitting on a busy street. You still have peace and quiet.

The price was fair for the quality. Highly recommended! Plus, you get the feeling of being in a genuine, authentic, and welcoming place.

29/08/2025: While visiting Milazzo, we were looking for a seafood restaurant. The restaurant is small but very charming. The very kind and helpful lady seated us on the veranda and recommended the restaurant's delicacies. We chose two hot appetizers and three fried seafood dishes; everything was excellent, with prompt and attentive service. The price was fair. We'll be back.
