17/07/2024: I traveled to Messina with the aim of finding the best Messina focaccia and Maison del Pane takes number 1 without a doubt. The traditional one with anchovies left me with my mouth open due to the texture of the bread and the flavor of its ingredients. The anchovy was not hidden and allowed the flavors to mix exquisitely, the baked tomato delicious, the bread soft and spongy. The Bianca pizza unimaginably good. The pearl in the crown was the service, they were so kind and so hospitable that, without a doubt, added a flavor rarely achieved: the taste of home.

17/07/2024: Definitely the best Messinese focaccia I tried during my stay in Messina, I would return without thinking twice, totally recommended, the staff is very friendly and their recommendations are very very good.

16/05/2024: Staying at the marina with food on board - but wanted to try the Michelin star restaurant. Drinks only - a negroni and GintonicaOO - complimented by peanuts/olives and canapés. Very nice at 30 euros. Staff very pleasant.

22/08/2024: Sicilian rotisserie where everything is cooked strictly following authentic local recipes. All strictly homemade, I think their arancino is a real Oscar winner! The focaccia and rustici are also excellent! The hospitality of Massimo and Giusy who kept us there with the explanation of the various recipes made us truly feel at home! Recommended for those who want to taste the real Sicily.

04/08/2024: We booked some pizzas for delivery. In addition to the convenience of being able to order via WhatsApp, Swiss punctuality, we said at 8pm and the pizzas arrived at 8pm. Finally, and most importantly, the delicious pizzas, soft dough and top quality seasoning.

25/08/2024: We ate two pizzas. The dough is quite digestible with excellent fresh seasonings and very tasty and balanced combinations. Advised!

23/08/2024: Noi abbiamo mangiato pizza ed è oltre che enorme anche molto buona.Bel ristorante con i posti all'esterno molto particolari,se devo trovare una pecca è l'accessibilità non proprio consona a persone con disabilità o anziane .

24/08/2024: An excellent pizza in the cunzato bread version. Light and delicious dough 🤤 Really appreciated the sweet and sour capers which were spectacular! Little tip: In the version with the sword, do it in cubes otherwise someone will be left with too little sword.

20/07/2024: Had some lovely wine and snacks here while here in Taormina. Definitely a gem! With wonderful servers. Would highly recommend! So well priced as well :)

10/08/2024: I ate a slice of tuna with onion sauce that was absolutely magnificent! One of the best of my life... And the next day I came back and ate a courgette and shrimp pasta that was just as good! I recommend it ;)

08/08/2024: Excellent pizza, a little sparing with the tomato. We asked for a tomato bruschetta as a starter and I ended up with two slices with tomato and lots of onion! Unfortunately I can't stand onion so I would have expected them to offer me at least a new bruschetta without onion. So I only ate the pizza, which luckily was very good.

26/07/2024: Rarely do I come home with the desire to write a review, well this is the right time. If you are wandering in the scorching summer heat and find yourself in Lingua, your refuge is Il Delfino. In the shade of the "pinnata", refreshed by the sea breeze you will be welcomed by the elegance of Gisella and the professionalism of Giovanni. Photos are superfluous because the dishes have a unique presentation like the taste that distinguishes them, a flavor of family and affection prepared with local, quality products. A peaceful corner where you can taste one of the many wines produced on the island, a complete cellar where you can choose between Whites with a strong flavor or Reds that enhance the aromas and scents of the Territory. For many it will be a simple review, for me it is a thank you, because stopping at the Delfino even for an aperitif is already a great opportunity. Cheers beautiful people and happy holidays.

15/08/2024: Terrible service experience. We wait to eat for hours and only when we ask how far along the pizzas are, do they start preparing them. They give total priority to customers who arrived after us and to the home. Only when ordering (after having waited a long time to order) they warn us that they are not making round pizzas today but only by the metre. The pizza wasn't bad, but nothing special. However, many at the table complained about theirs.
