28/03/2025: We had dinner there one night and everything was delicious. Spectacular seafood pasta. I would repeat without hesitation.

11/03/2025: Filetto di manzo - consisted of 70% tendons. Not edible! The salad with oranges and shrimps needed additional seasoning. The grilled vegetables were hard and cold. Not recommended. The service was very friendly and offered us an alternative to the wasted fillet. But our trust in the kitchen was shattered. Left the restaurant frustrated

07/08/2024: Un gran bel aperitivo. Una sorpresa per un bel ristoro prima di procedere verso il Castello per assistere alla spettacolo di Panariello e Masini. Maria Paola, una delle tre ideatrici del locale, è stata un vero tesoro, accogliente e sorridente, ha subito intuito cosa poteva darci un po' di energia in una serata dal caldo tipico siciliano. Io e la mia amica abbiamo gradito e ci siamo subito promesse di tornare, anche per scegliere uno di quei cocktail, molto invitanti, che passavano sotto i nostri occhi :-).

22/03/2025: The waiter or owner was rude beyond belief. We ate a big breakfast that morning and just arrived in Naples. We were not that hungry and just eager to try out what Naples has to offer. I ordered a seafood spaghetti. The guy said each person must order a dish with a stern face. So I ordered another pizza and one water to share. Again, the guy said each person must order a drink. Another drink was ordered but he was visibly upset after the order. My guess is that he was thinking "unbelievably cheap tourists". I found that at the next table there were 5 Italians dining. They all ordered inexpensive pizzas and shared one water. We came from Northern Italy and had a very good experience with Italy. The south seems to be different in a negative way. This is really an experience of my life in a bad way.

16/02/2025: Excellent choice 👍 we went for lunch, we tasted some real delicacies; various well-presented appetizers of excellent quality, first course: homemade macaroni in black pork sauce, second course: mixed grill, strictly black pork and potatoes from the garden baked in the oven, what can I say, everything delicious. Rustic, welcoming and clean environment; the owner made us feel at home; kind and helpful staff. The prices are adequate in relation to the quality. We will gladly return to Badia a Ficarra, moreover it is a fascinating and elegant place, you can breathe the sea and mountain air, you can enjoy a magnificent view. I recommend booking the Badia is appreciated by many👏

30/03/2025: Super positive experience with PIZZA PLANET! I had ordered through Glovo, but unfortunately the delivery never arrived🤬. I contacted the pizzeria directly and the staff was incredibly kind: without hesitation they re-prepared my entire order and allowed me to collect it personally. Truly impeccable customer service, a sign of great professionalism and attention to customers. In addition to the excellent service, the pizza was exquisite: light and well-leavened dough, fresh and tasty ingredients. I absolutely recommend this pizzeria, not only for the quality of the food but also for the seriousness and helpfulness of the staff!

01/09/2024: Spectacular location, fantastic sea view room. Spotless and spacious rooms. Furnishings a little dated, but well cared for and everything very clean. Spotless pool and remarkable beach. Impeccable staff, professional and informal at the same time. At the reception Andrea and Giuseppe at breakfast are true number one.. Attentive and very kind owners. Absolutely recommendable

30/07/2024: Nice hotel, very clean & delicious breakfast. It is a bit remote and the hotel's own restaurant was closed. Unfortunately, we don't know how many rooms with balconies there are with "non-sea views". I would say at least 3 per floor. In our opinion, this is not communicated clearly enough beforehand because there are only photos of the sea view rooms. Nevertheless, we had a good time in the hotel and felt comfortable. As a criticism I would say that the pool is only open until 6:30 p.m.

12/11/2024: Ich war hier zu einer Weindegustazion mit 3 Gläsern Weisswein + Stuzzichini für 35€, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für eine touristische Stadt wie Taormina. Der Service hier war bemerkenswert: Sommeliers die die Weinbauern und ihre Rebberge noch persönlich kennen! Sie sprachen beide makelloses Englisch und man merkte, dass ihnen diese Arbeit Freude bereitet. Sie waren auch gewillt, den Gästen bei Bedarf Alternativen anzubieten (jemand war Vegi, jemand anders mochte keinen Weisswein etc). Die Weine waren alle biologisch angebaut, jedes Glas war etwas Besonderes und vom Charakter völlig verschieden. Jeder Gang war wieder aufs Neue faszinierend. Beeindruckt hat mich auch, wie die Weine perfekt zu den Häppchen gepasst haben, grosses Kompliment auch an die Küche. Auch wenn es "nur" Häppchen waren, waren sie ebenso ausgefeilt und kreativ wie die Weinauswahl. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

23/02/2025: Good food, no doubt about that but ordered their tasting menu (6 courses) and it took them 50 min. to bring the first course. After almost 2h I was at the 3rd course when I decided to stop this joke and just pay and leave. So yes, I recommend it if you want to spend your life with them in the restaurant

04/02/2025: Restaurant whose main feature is the kindness of the owner and the freshness of the fish. Dishes that make a good impression and in the right quantity. It's a shame that the external plexiglass structure vibrated noticeably and annoyingly when cars passed by. The right price for what is offered. Nice willingness to welcome the "dog"
