02/05/2026: We stumbled upon this wonderful little place, Mongiove, by chance and asked for directions. We received the directions, four coffees, a chat, and a lot of kindness. We returned. We had a seafood lunch. Everything was delicious, from appetizer to dessert. We'll be back to try Johnny's pizza. Highly recommended.

From the very first moment, the attention to detail is evident: the atmosphere is welcoming, modern, and has that Sicilian touch that invites you to relax and enjoy. The pizza is, without exaggeration, one of the best I've ever tasted. The dough is perfectly fermented, light and crispy on the outside, with an incredible flavor. The ingredients are noticeably fresh and of high quality, and the combinations are very well thought out. Every bite demonstrates a passion for authentic Italian pizza. 🍕 The service was wonderful. I'm Spanish, and they treated me wonderfully despite some initial language difficulties. 100% recommended

18/04/2026: We took a detour from Taormina to Cefalu. A restaurant nestled in the mountains, offering exceptional quality and capturing the essence of rural Italy. Delicious lamb pasta.

18/04/2026: What can I say? Two local friends recommended this restaurant to us, and I have to say I was right to listen. Impeccable service, delicious, varied food, and truly reasonable prices...plus, they offered us homemade desserts that capped off the meal and made us want to come back again!

12/11/2025: Delicious. A truly amazing seafood restaurant. We've rarely tasted such good, fresh fish. The shrimp and octopus salad appetizers, served on a platter, were a feast for the eyes and the palate. We had to stop after two entrees because we were so full. Everything was delicious, and the staff was friendly.

26/10/2025: An excellent restaurant, they know how to cook everything. We tried several seafood dishes; we have to admit, everything was fresh. The restaurant has a modern and colorful atmosphere. It's a highly recommended place to try.

03/01/2026: Last night, because I'm writing this at 2:00 AM, I visited this restaurant with my girls. Obviously, I thought for a moment so as not to write a hasty review motivated only by my disappointment. We sat at seat 14 and ordered a few items. The only appetizer, potatoes with cheese and speck, were delivered without the last two ingredients, so they were remedied by bringing back the same dish rearranged with the two missing ingredients. I didn't think it was nice, but in the end, they were potatoes! What justified my review, however, was the plate of gratinated mussels, ordered by my daughter. The dish contained twenty miscounted mussels, one of which emitted a nauseating stench. I don't want to lecture anyone, but if my daughter didn't have that questionable habit of smelling food, maybe I'd be writing this review from the emergency room and not from my room.

12/11/2025: We tried a granita for the first time at this place! The strawberries and cream were amazing, and if you order coffee, ask for a different flavor, as this one is very bitter. I ordered the Niccola flavor. The girl at the register was very friendly and spoke English!

26/01/2026: We're used to pizzas with thick crusts, the ones that look beautiful but are full of chemicals. Here you have the opportunity to eat healthily—a concept that hasn't yet been fully applied to pizza. Many people probably don't even understand what they're eating. Pizza is a masterpiece. Both delicious and healthy. Many compliments, truly. Pump up the marketing! Tell people what they're eating! Educate them! You're creating a revolution! Well done, well done, well done!

27/05/2026: had a beautiful stay at villa angela ~ up high in taormina which worked out great for us as we hiked various trails in the area! wonderous time to visit, may, due to all the wild flowers in bloom ~ kept me thinking of the tennyson poem "if i had a flower for everytime i thought of you...i could walk through my garden forever" ~ brought back many memories while on those walks; lovely staff, beautiful artwork within the hotel, great views of mama etna as well xoxo blessings to all xoxo

24/05/2026: We spent three nights here at the end of April. What a fantastic experience. Our room had a full view of Mt Etna and the sea. Every staff member was unbelievably courteous and friendly. The shuttle from the hotel to Taormina centrale was so useful. Special shout outs to Andrea and Sam. We can't wait to come back!
