Le Prelibatezze Di La Malfa Rosaria In Milazzo

We stumbled upon 'Le Prelibatezze' almost by chance, looking for a place to have lunch with typical local dishes. Welcoming us with great care and warmth were Nino and Rodica, who immediately made us feel like guests at a friend's house. Even though we arrived right at closing time, they made us arancini right on the spot, along with other dishes of the day: the ingredients used are top-quality, extremely fresh, and mostly locally sourced, and the fish (very fresh) is caught in those same waters. Rodica pours all her love into the kitchen, and the resulting dishes have the flavor of authentic old-fashioned cuisine, where the ragù is delicately simmered all morning and the rice broth is made in-house, with fresh vegetables. The portions are extremely generous, and the bill is equally so: it's hard to find places like this where you leave the table feeling full, happy, and spending little. The conviviality created by Nino and the entire community around him makes this place a true local heritage to be preserved and promoted, especially when compared to the growing number of bars and restaurants that, in a cold manner, offer meals made with mediocre quality ingredients at exorbitant prices, looking only at profit but losing that humanity and authenticity that are the basis of a healthy community.

I would return to this place just for the kindness of the owner and the deliciousness of the arancini!! Everything was truly wonderful at rock-bottom prices.

Very good, cheap and very friendly owner

This was our first time in Milazzo. The food was delicious, especially the arancini, and the owner was incredibly welcoming and kind. The prices are very fair, and the value is unbeatable. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back 🤩🫶🏻

Nino and his wife have a lovely little self service restaurant, that cook up a variety of Sicilian dishes. We enjoyed our lunches very much, but it was Nino’s kindness and friendly nature, that really made an impression on us. Thank you. Lea
