16/03/2025: Pizzeria recommended by friends, it met expectations with flying colors. Very nice and welcoming place, with live music in the background. Pizzas with refined ingredients and unexpected combinations. The only downside was the long wait. Recommended.

08/03/2025: Locale carino nel suo contesto, antipasti fritti & pizza ottima…siamo venuti un sabato sera e sinceramente non verremo piu’ ( un vero peccato), musica dal vivo pianista assordante e attesa piu’ di un ora e mezza per le pizza…mi dispiace na non verremo piu’ …!!!! Un consiglio al locale date priorita’ ai clienti in sala e non alle pizze da asporto…

17/03/2025: Durante nuestra estancia de 4 noches en Taormina cenamos 2 de las noches en Casa Niclodi. La atención recibida de Maurizio y el personal realmente nos hizo sentir bienvenidos en esta joya escondida del paseo peatonal principal, Corso Umberto. El ambiente interior (todavía demasiado frío para comer al aire libre) es de muy buen gusto y te hace sentir como si estuvieras en una villa siciliana... .. que en realidad era anterior. La comida es fabulosa y estuvimos más que contentos de tomar recomendaciones tanto de comida como de vino de Maurizio, que es parte de la propiedad familiar. Durante las dos visitas, tuvimos pasta de tinta de calamar, ensalada de gambas rojas, ensalada de alcachofas y gambas, pasta de pez espada y carne de res con setas y trufa. ¡Todo magnífico! Nuestro otro camarero que queremos reconocer es Davide en la noche 1 y Vitale en la noche 2. Entre todos ellos nos atendieron personalmente ambas noches y tuvimos varias conversaciones sobre la vida en Sicilia. Esta es una de nuestras partes favoritas de los viajes, realmente conocer un poco sobre las personas que viven y trabajan allí Tenemos la suerte de haber viajado por el mundo y haber estado en algunos restaurantes fabulosos, y podemos decir que este es un top 5 para nosotros. Puede hacer frente a cualquier lugar, en cualquier lugar para el servicio y la calidad. Muy recomendable para cualquiera que visite Taormina!

29/03/2025: Fantastic place! Wonderful location, you can enjoy the delicacies sitting in this little square that has a beautiful church as a backdrop on one side and the sea on the other. To the side is the famous barber shop from the film Jonny Stecchino Excellent service, everyone is kind and helpful. Excellent ice cream and pastries. I will definitely return to taste everything I have only looked at.

From 2002 to 2004 I traveled to Sicily with several shipments of goods from a well-known Italian transport company, and every time I went there, my free time was dedicated to visiting this environment. Without a doubt, the best thing I found there, not only the humanity, but also the general hospitality environment and prices, complete satisfaction. There were always nice conversations, also regarding Sicilian linguistics, which enriched me and I learned their colloquial language very quickly. I would like to take this opportunity to greet all the staff, the extremely kind waiters and waitresses and the neighbors. ♥♥♥ Many thanks for everything. ♥

24/03/2025: Domenica mattina, io e la mia compagna ci rechiamo a fare colazione verso le 10,la prima volta che vado in questo locale, pochissime persone in quel momento 4 persone sedute fuori e 5 sedute dentro, ho aspettato un bel po' che venisse qualcuno a prendere l'ordinazione, alla fine sono dovuto andare io dentro, una persona al bancone e tre persone in cucina, un ora di attesa per un pancake un caffè e un cappuccino, pessima esperienza, non andrò mai più in questo locale.

29/12/2024: Nonostante sia stato possibile prenotare regolarmente un tavolo per pranzo tramite applicazione e vi era indicato quale orario di apertura "11:30 - 01:00", arrivati sul posto il ristorante era chiuso e non vi era alcun avviso al riguardo.

18/03/2025: Siamo stati accolti dai proprietari in un ambiente pulito e molto curato. Abbiamo mangiato un tagliere di salumi e formaggi locali: salame e coppa sublimi, anche i formaggi gustosi accompagnati da marmellata ai frutti di bosco e miele. Dopo abbiamo preso tre primi di pasta fresca con ragù di maialino nero, cacio (formaggio locale) e pepe e pesto di finocchietto e salame di Sant’Angelo di brolo buonissimi ed abbondanti. Prezzi onesti nonostante la qualità e la cura nei dettagli. Da ritornare sicuramente e consigliare vivamente.

Very helpful and respectful of the guests. They came to wish us a happy birthday even though we didn't say anything. (According to the passport) We really enjoyed it. Thank you very much.

28/12/2024: 110 cum laude restaurant. It will be the fifth time I've come, the first in winter, and I know I'll always go without fail. Very nice place, well furnished and with a nice open kitchen, which I find really tasteful. Very courteous, friendly and professional staff. Excellent food. Starting from the bread basket, with an excellent focaccia and a delicious crunchy crust with seeds and cereals. I only take the 5-course tasting menu, a gastronomic journey (always different or in any case revised) of the highest level. This time they served us a delicious savory cappuccino with potato and wasabi foam, spirulina powder and raw prawn at the bottom, served with a homemade cereal croissant. Then a roasted octopus tentacle cooked to perfection with pumpkin cream and basil sauce and cocoa nibs (brilliant idea because the bitterness of the cocoa gave the dish an indescribable strength). The first was cacio e pepe with homemade rigatoni (and you could taste the difference) with seared prawn, super. For second, a very soft slice of red snapper with seared skin (I suspect it has been caramelised, an aspect which I still appreciated) with a full-bodied wakame seaweed and a chickpea cream. Since there were two of us, the desserts were different. The first is a mix of a gianduja pudding with salted caramel, vanilla ice cream and mint, the second is a sweet pastry (like chiacchiere) with sweet ricotta, strawberries and candied orange. Super recommended!

13/04/2025: Ce restaurant, qui ne paye pas de mine de l’extérieur, est un petit bijou à l’écart des restaurants attrape-touristes de Taormine. Nous nous y sommes arrêtées un soir car notre Airbnb était à côté, et quelle ne fut pas notre surprise ! Un menu à 20€ avec un plat d’antipasti très copieux (et très bon) + un plat de pâtes à la norma excellent ou une bonne assiette de viandes. Les plats à la carte sont aussi très bons, de belles salades, des pâtes, des secondi piatti… Même pas la place pour un dessert ! Le service est très agréable, tout est fait pour nous faire passer un bon moment ! On les en remercie ! Tout ça pour un gros maximum (entrée+plat+cocktail) de 30€ par personne. On a tellement apprécié qu’on est revenues le lendemain !!! Allez-y les yeux fermés !

10/10/2024: Very nice, idyllic, relaxed accommodation in the middle of the mountains. It's a great place to switch off. And the hosts are always there and absolutely accommodating. The food was always very tasty! So you can have a good time. Thank you for the lovely days
