13/08/2024: Excellent welcome from Mr. Nunzio... accompanied to the table and served impeccably!! Then again.... the dishes are pleasing to the eye and the palate... And abundant at the right point!!! I ABSOLUTELY recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy SICILY and the SICILIAN PEOPLE WHO WORK WELL!!!!!

04/09/2024: Staff is unfriendly, they even charged €2 for bread for a child who did not eat with us, this was corrected later when we said something about it. Chicken tasted like it had been in the freezer too long, pasta carbonara was curdled, pasta vongole had no flavor and pasta bolognaise was too salty. Not recommended, it's better to eat at the neighbors

04/09/2024: Stay away from this restaurant they are racist and treat people of color extremely badly.I am from the uk and asked the server for the menu I asked if they had bread in the menu and potatoes and he said no three times when I seen people eating they had these items of food.I even went on google to show him pictures of the food in case he didn’t understand me.The other waiter shouted at me and told me to sit down when I pointed at the bread the people had when I explained that the other waiter told me they had no bread he got the food he placed on the table and told me I can eat here.These people are racsit and you can tell by there mannerism. If you are coloured they will treat you poorly and tell you to leave do not go

02/08/2024: We ate well at Maurizio's in the new location which is a little difficult to find for those who are not local because it is not signposted. At the beginning we were offered a taste of couscous and some crusty bread. We had appetizers and first courses which were all tasty. I had some very good potato gnocchi with seafood. But my husband's pasta with breadcrumbs and sardines was really super... very good! Expensive wine list with little choice, informal service and not very refined equipment.

05/08/2024: Can’t speak highly enough of the staff, the location and the hotel itself. The staff were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and their assistance in recommending excursions was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

16/07/2024: Avevamo visto delle foto dei piatti di cui non corrispondevano col menù. Ci é stato spiegato che la gestione è cambiata. I nomi dei piatti erano presi dalle isole, filicidi salina ecc... Ho preso quello con la portata di pesce al costo di 35 euro, immaginando delle grandi portate invece mi hanno portato un piatto con degli assaggini , dal valore max di 12 euro. Sconsiglio questo locale.

23/08/2024: I'm giving one star because you can't give less, meanwhile coming and asking in that way shouting as if we were at a fishmonger asking a customer what's wrong, seeing that we hadn't consumed anything of what was on the table, for then making us pay full price for everything was truly ridiculous. Either keep quiet or ask politely, not in that rude way, making the whole place hear you, I should have done it if anything, I'm the customer. But in any case the most shameful thing is to work like this in our beautiful Sicily! Strawberry and peach granita clearly freeze-dried, every teaspoon was bitter and burned my throat, clearly sour cream, leaving there I had to take a gaviscon and it still left my mouth bitter and sour, how disgusting! Flies fluttering around the place everywhere, but oh well you can ignore this being outdoors, but really guys, you can make fun of the tourists but not us who were born and raised in Sicily! I would never have thought of giving a negative review to a Sicilian bar but you really don't work like that and change your attitude with customers so you won't get anywhere. Shameful!

07/08/2024: Ho fatto un apertivo cenato con la mia ragazza in questo locale, abbiamo preso due calici di vino abbondanti e un tagliere con salumi, formaggi e gastronomia locale (caponata, polpette e parmigiana). Prodotti di alta qualità, gastronomia eccezionale. Location bella e il servizio il migliore incontrato a Taormina.

06/08/2024: Middag sig beskrevs vara gastronomi men är ledsen var något helt annat. Små bitar av olika rätter känder lite skolmatsal. Tyvärr men hit hår vi ej tillbaka.

23/08/2024: Colazione tradizionalmente siciliana. Se non si può fare a meno della tipica colazione siciliana questo é il luogo più adatto dove soddisfare ogni ‘pititto’. Se poi si vuole gustare solo un caffè si è sempre nel posto giusto

Una volta consegnato il gelato (il cui prezzo è da considerare piuttosto caro), lo stesso si scioglieva così rapidamente da doverlo consumare in tempi da pitstop in Formula 1. 23/08/2024: Nice environment, shame that my seat was on a slide and the chair wobbled, good well-leavened pizza, I took my uncle's pizza which was satisfying, next time I'll take the red one, there was something missing to my taste, the classic and good fried mix, top par excellence the citrus sorbet is a spectacle, with regards to the undoubtedly attentive and professional service.
