23/02/2025: I've known this place since it opened. Initially it was born as a sandwich shop and I have always eaten stratospheric and excellent quality sandwiches, much better than many other places I have been, but since they started introducing starters, first courses and second courses it has acquired a million more points! This evening I ate "buttoned" anchovies with sweet and sour onion, a new dish on the menu that I absolutely wanted to try and I was abundantly satisfied, but I can assure you that anything I've ever eaten in there was truly special! If you are in the area you absolutely must stop by!

13/04/2025: We ordered via the "My Lillo" app at 8pm and the order was expected at 9.30pm but we waited until 10.20pm. If it were just the delay I wouldn't even bother writing the review but given the lack of professionalism here I am. We tried to contact the venue for the entire time of the delay and only received a response at 10pm. 30 MINUTES OF RINGS WITHOUT AN ANSWER to hear us say that the rider had left 10 minutes ago but when speaking to the latter it wasn't true and he had to wait a long time for the order to be delivered. After all the waiting I would have liked at least a hot dinner, but that wasn't the case. Good pizza but nothing exceptional.

13/04/2025: If you are in Messina and love properly made pizza, Farine is a must. A welcoming place, modern but with a warm and familiar touch, perfect both for a dinner with friends and for a quieter evening. The real protagonist, obviously, is the dough: light, fragrant, with perfect leavening that makes it very digestible. The pizzas are an explosion of flavours, thanks to the use of very fresh and high quality ingredients, many of which are zero km. The menu is creative but balanced, with classic and more refined proposals, all with attention to the smallest details. Farine is the type of pizzeria that combines tradition and innovation, with a style that stands out and leaves its mark. Highly recommended!

25/11/2024: In the last 2 months, the family has often been in Messina, and I must say that in this place we found a welcoming place and exquisite people. What about the dishes? .... EXCELLENT... you eat divinely! And then I love the look of the room, I find it very chic!

23/02/2025: We have frequented La Forchetta del Castello several times over the years, always on weekdays, and we have always appreciated the generous portions, the excellent quality of the food and the attentive and helpful service. Unfortunately, today's experience, a Sunday, was not up to the previous ones. While on the one hand a little more chaos on public holidays is understandable, on the other hand we did not expect such a clear drop in service. The portions were smaller than usual (although still within the norm) and the quality of the food remained excellent, but the real problem was the very poor service. There were only inexperienced kids in the room, visibly confused among the tables, making the experience less pleasant than usual. In summary, La Forchetta del Castello remains a quality restaurant, but the management of service on the busiest days should be improved to maintain the standard that has always convinced us. We hope it was just an episode and that we will rediscover the excellence we knew in future visits.

27/01/2025: I returned after many years to eat in this place, I admit that they never disappoint, excellent cuisine handed down by Mr. Mario to the new staff, excellent service, and what can I say. After a good Sunday lunch, ending with a pleasant walk to the castle of Santa Lucia del Mela with a view of the Gulf of Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands... I will return to taste their cuisine and spend another beautiful day in company. Thanks see you next time!!! I recommend it to everyone

12/03/2025: Yesterday I went for lunch with friends, we took the menu with various courses of appetizers, 2 first courses and a mixed grill, all very good indeed. The view from the terrace is unique and the service is impeccable. It's always a pleasure to come back
