28/07/2024: Trattoria-style restaurant near the center of Santa Marina. Nice location, with tables arranged on two levels, a first small courtyard and on the first floor under a patio. There are no indoor tables with air conditioning. Excellent fish, very fresh. On the kitchen side, if you ask for sliced ​​albacore make sure you ask for it medium rare, or they will practically bring you slightly seared raw fish. Another detail: The mussels taken were very good, very clean, but they had a very salty broth, the waiter justified himself by saying that the saltiness came from the mussels, but I would have expected at least a small caress on the final bill. The service was good, but here too there were some small flaws: for example, the dessert was forgotten (the waiter had to remember the order) and the squid finished after having ordered them (and we had to fall back on another dish). Overall a good experience, I would go back.

26/08/2024: Non fatevi sviare dalla sensazione “work-in-progress” che si può avere da come il locale appare all’esterno… semplicità, genuinità e sapori della tradizione sono il vero marchio di fabbrica della cucina di questo ristorante, il tutto accompagnato dal garbo e dalla gentilezza di Davide che ti serve in sala. Su tutto da segnalare gli involtini di melanzana e pasta (giocano in un campionato diverso) e la qualità delle materie prime, dai formaggi alla caponata con le verdure coltivate dal nonno serviti con l’antipasto misto (i pomodori in insalata… anni che non ne mangiavo di così saporiti). In venticinque anni che vengo in Sicilia per le vacanze estive - ho sposato l’isola assieme ad una siciliana - probabilmente il miglior rapporto prezzo qualità mai trovato. Merita la prova anche la sera con i tavoli all’aperto disposti ai bordi della piscina (… che è a disposizione dei clienti del locale).

Well-chosen food, a place that easily beats everyone else, also given the location. Treat those guys well please and give them some extra money which is well deserved!

13/08/2024: It is practically useless to book, they accept overbooked reservations, and we leave a boy at the entrance to take the complaints of everyone who is confident of entering more or less at the time of the reservation. Knowing the place, very crowded and in demand, we booked the day before by calling the number indicated on Google as a contact. We were able to get seated more than an hour after our reservation time. It would be more honest to say, come here and queue!

In my opinion slightly expensive for the quantities served, but the food was absolutely worth it. So if you want to have a romantic and quality dinner I highly recommend it

24/07/2024: We had dinner in May 2024. Exquisite food and very fresh fish. Excellent and timely service. Friendly, attentive and courteous staff. I advise everyone not to ask for dishes other than those ordered. Two changes (a girl waiting and a 6 year old boy) I paid 140 euros for them.

08/08/2024: Sleepy staff to be improved, I sat for half an hour with the menus closed already knowing what to order, no one approached to take the order, the time before I took a spritz and when they brought me "snacks" there was a hair, I tried to call some of the staff but no one came near me I finished my spritz I went to pay and left, I will never come back!
