My wife and I went convinced by the reviews that I now believe were paid because they do not reflect the terrible quality of both the dishes and the service. I usually do not leave negative reviews but it was impossible not to leave one this time. From the series do not open that door ... go further and save yourself both the cost and the stomach ache.

26/04/2025: Casalino is one of those places where you go with high expectations and still leave amazed by the quality of the dishes. The raw material is excellent, the combination between local cuisine and Roman traditions is interesting. Among the appetizers, the parmigiana and the Roman tripe deserve a special mention, really excellent! First and second courses are also delicious, in particular the tagliatelle with white ragù, the green lasagna and the braised cheek. The service was kind, punctual and welcoming, starting from the owner who, with all his kindness, was able to guide us and advise us in the best possible way. We recommend it and we will definitely be back!

06/06/2025: Stopped for a bite to eat. I ordered the sea bass and my wife had a pasta dish. The sea bass was the best I have ever had and the pasta was excellent as well. Overall a very satisfying experience in a most pleasant setting.

06/06/2025: Abbiamo mangiato tutta la settimana da loro.il proprietario Massimo e tutto lo staff sono gentili, ti mettono a loro agio. Cibo buonissimo dalla pizza al pesce ai dolci ( tiramisù fatto da loro). Buono rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo

29/05/2025: This restaurant has been our favorite for many years. The pasta is very good. The pizza used to be phenomenal - but sadly it has been removed from the menu and is no longer made here. The tartare is still mixed in front of us by the owner, who always takes care of his guests. The view of Etna and the sea from a restaurant is the best we have found in 15 years of traveling around Sicily. It is more expensive than it used to be - inflation, but it is still worth a dinner here for lovers of an amazing view and atmosphere.

07/06/2025: A really cute bar, right on Isola Bella. We had breakfast there in the morning for a very fair price, but also tried the hot dishes. Everything was delicious and fresh without exception. The service was very friendly and quick. We highly recommend the restaurant.

The owner only selects natural, local products and ingredients in order to create delicious dishes of the sicilian and italian tradition. The restaurant is full of interesting paintings, quotes, and objects with amazing stories about them. As you enjoy the extraordinary and diverse dishes, which are perfectly cooked and seasoned, the owner chats with you about the dishes and just about anything else you want. No matter where you find yourself, do travel as many as needed to this beautiful place and to this restaurant, it will be worth it.

24/05/2025: Met the family for lunch after a motorcycle ride through the mountains. The food and service were amazing. The fish was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. Kids loved the pasta and Pepe and the staff were delightful. Buonissimo!

25/05/2025: What can I say? Absolutely stunning!! We visited last night for drinks and the staff were so amazing we went back for food and wine tonight. Staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food was absolutely amazing. Never ever had a carbonara like it. We were going to go to try Osteria da Rita but thx manager was so rude we decided against it! A must must must visit in Taormina!! Thank you so much xxx
