20/07/2024: Being too busy with work, I couldn't organize anything for my wife's birthday, from work itself I found 10 minutes to sneak out and I arrived here at the Musumeci pastry shop (of my childhood friend Samuele) and no Ferrero ice cream cake Rocher that was the end of the world. 11/07/2024: Tasty pastries, both savory and sweet. We tried cannoli with pistachio and chocolate. The pistachio one is definitely the better one, a little bit on the heavy side. The little almond cookies are to die for, so yummy. The lady was really nice and welcoming

27/08/2024: After many years, I returned to this place. Same service and quality of food. The starters (raw and hot) are plentiful and excellent. The first and second courses are very good. I recommend, for dessert, the lemon and mandarin granita and, in combination, the amaro produced by the owner of the restaurant.

11/08/2024: Trattoria on the seafront in Acitrezza, had a really good dinner, linguine with clams and truly super octopus salad. Very friendly staff, fast and efficient service. I recommend it.

24/08/2024: Finally a serious and studied proposal of vegan pizzas. The one in the photo is "Albachiara" with fried aubergines, tomato and additionally veg mozzarella from Dreamfarm. Excellent dough, well-made combination of flavors (it almost looked like a parmesan pizza). I also tried the "Jenny" pizza with chicory, walnut cream, cardoncelli and veg mozzarella. Finally, closing the pizza party with an excellent vegan pistachio and hazelnut spumone. Congratulations, we finally needed a vegan pizza menu like this!

22/08/2024: Always a guarantee ❤️ I was particularly surprised by one of the vegan pizzas (with vegan salami!), it was really tasty and I was happy not to give up the taste while respecting animals and the environment

23/08/2024: They welcomed us at 2.30pm without any problem. An exquisite and juicy meat, I have eaten few like it in my life, even the cooking requested by each of us was perfect. We also took some sautéed mushrooms (excellent) and a very tasty and balanced Sicilian salad. It's worth the stop.

30/08/2024: Mi dispiace lasciare questa recensione perché nel vostro locale si beve e si mangia molto bene, ma quello che a catania chiamiamo c*lo pieno ha toccato anche voi. Ieri mattina ho chiamato per prenotare un tavolo per 4 fuori. La sera siamo arrivati e purtroppo eravamo in 5 anziché 4, tuttavia il ragazzo ci fa accomodare comunque al tavolo che avevo prenotato, che palesemente non era neanche un tavolo per 4. Era un banchetto per 2 persone. Come vi viene in mente di far sedere 4 persone per cenare ad un banchetto per due, in cui ovviamente non si riesce a poggiare l'intero ordine? Se io prenoto con largo anticipo un tavolo per 4 mi aspetto uno spazio decoroso, non un tavolino nell'angolo appoggiato al muro che emanava peraltro un tanfo di pipì insopportabile. Quando è arrivato l'ordine e la cameriera ha avuto serie difficoltà a trovare lo spazio per lasciare le cose, mi sono lamentata del tavolo che ci era stato dato nonostante la prenotazione e la ragazza ha fatto finta di non sentirmi neanche. Se non avevate uno spazio decoroso per accogliere 4 persone all'esterno dovevate solo dirmelo al telefono, invece di fare i disonesti e farci passare una mala serata stretti come sardine. Non sarà mai più

24/08/2024: Nous nous somme rendu à ce jolie bar tapas et nous somme vachement surpris nous avons pris 5 assiette de tapas moule croquette fromage poulet patates bravas etc et c’était super bon vraiment rien a dire . En plus c très typique espagnol vraiment je recommande à 100% foncer

02/09/2024: Doesn’t look flashy, but the food was amazing! Much better than at other, hipper looking, restaurants. Compliments, also real pizza. To our suprise a lot of places in sicily don’t have real pizza. Not antica taverna! Real pizza oven and real good pizza’s.

02/09/2024: Locale in pieno centro abbiamo mangiato due primi spettacolari . Pasta alla Norma e pasta alla Catanese . Le porzioni sono super abbondanti , la pasta fresca fatta da loro e gli ingredienti per il condimento freschissimi . Sia il proprietario che lo staff gentili ed attenti al cliente , guidatori anche nella scelta del vino . SUPER CONSIGLUATO

30/08/2024: Loved the place - it is in a quiet street and the ambience is lovely. The personal is also very friendly. Would definitely recommend it for an aperitif :-)

24/05/2024: Very rich and inviting showcase, kind and attentive staff. The table dining room is separated from the restaurant by a few meters, in another building, but they still serve you very quickly.

02/05/2024: I thought I'd just have a coffee but beyond this excellent and profound flavour, strictly bitter if you want to fully appreciate it, there is a Pastry Shop with a capital P, an affable owner and well-trained staff. Today you will only see a photo of one entrance and I promise to return to give you more information but the spoonful of almond granita I tasted had a perfect grain (Avola almond) guarantees Salvatore Barbagallo, the owner. A place to bring friends or stop for breakfast in the morning but I know there is more to this beautiful place in Acicatena. Seeing is believing.

28/08/2024: Truly a pleasant surprise, a place to sit and eat quality food and relax, service always ready to respond to all your needs, I will definitely go there again, forget about the McDonald's hot dogs and enjoy these which are certainly tastier and more genuine, highly recommended .
