25/05/2025: This is a great local fish restaurant. The fish is fresh. Alfredo, the owner, is extremely attentive to customer needs and wishes. His has a wine selection and I would recommend following his recommendations. He can also make Sicilian specialty dishes, but you need to give him advance notice (one or two days). Alfredo takes pride is serving the best traditional fish dishes. When entering the restaurant, the fresh fish is on display, for customer view and selection. I strongly recommend to make reservation and arrive at opening times, to ensure a larger selection of fish. The restaurant gets packed, quickly. In summary, this is a Great Place to enjoy traditional Sicilian fish dishes! Enjoy

21/05/2025: This cuisine is truly exceptional when it comes to seafood, as is evident in the antipasti platters. Some of the seafood is served raw, but all are surprisingly presented with fruit and vegetables.

25/05/2025: Street vendors who constantly harass, the staff does nothing to remove them, the girls at the bar when I asked the name of the products since I don't know Italian cuisine well responded rudely and seemed to be annoyed, the only thing I appreciate are the waiters who served me very kindly

È piccolo,immensamente accogliente e si viene accolti dalla proprieraria come in casa di un’amica. Il menù è adatto anche ai vegetariani e offre piatti della tradizione locale. Al contrario di altre persone,apprezzo sempre quando manca una pietanza del menù e viene detto: “Mi dispiace,le crocchette stasera sono finite”,segno di utilizzo di prodotti freschi e preparati al momento che,come in tutte le cucine vere,ad un certo punto possono anche finire. Abbiamo ordinato le panelle,il macco di fave e la grigliata mista,tutto buono e autentico. Il conto adeguato a ció che abbiamo consumato. La titolare è adorabile. Non vediamo l’ora di tornare. 26/05/2025: I had been many times at the Cavaddari in the past during my visits to Sicily. This one was disappointing. Pasta overcooked and with no taste, there was too much noise, children running everywhere like in a kindergarten. They have changed decoration and the place has lost its character and personality. Staff polite and service good. What a pity…
