27/05/2025: Anima e Core, a charming trattoria in the historic center of Caltagirone. Excellent, fresh raw materials cooked to perfection. If you have chosen Calatino for a walk out of town, you cannot miss going to taste something truly good, well cooked and presented as it should be.

12/05/2025: Small, inconspicuous pizzeria serving fantastic napoletana-style pizza. They offer a wide variety of pizzas, but you can adjust the ingredients as you wish. Despite seemingly mostly focused on take-away service, there are also a few tables available inside. The seating is comfortable and the ambience is pleasant. The owners are very nice and kind people, we felt really welcome here and enjoyed the delicious pizza very much!

27/05/2025: A surprise, practically by the wayside. If you're looking for the real Sicily, this is the place to be. Warm service, a wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and great wine. We weren't expecting this restaurant. A visit is absolutely worthwhile.

19/05/2025: Disappointed, in Acireale you can't sell certain arancini, where everything is impeccable, made as tradition dictates, from the granita to the seasoned bread. If I wanted something light and tasteless I would have taken a salad, certainly not an arancini!!

We ate the best arancini ever, from the classic to the ragù, we moved on to salmon and crab meat, sausage and walnuts, pumpkin and almonds, pistachio, in short, a true paradise. We then ate the almond paste in various flavors, a cannolo with ricotta that sent you into ecstasy and the almond granita. They are fantastic people, the cordiality, kindness and love they put into the things they do, are incomparable. In short, in addition to nourishing the stomach and the body, today you have nourished our heart 🙏😍

17/05/2025: A tour of Etna? Here is the starting point! From Paradise the itinerary starts (photocopies available to tourists) for Rifugio Sapienza, Etna Cableway and Silvestri Craters. Then, reaching Zafferana Etnea, the other excursions to the Etna North part start. And after the excursions here is a welcoming, private and quiet environment where you can rest with a view of the olive groves and orchards, volcano and fantastic green countryside! Here is the ideal place to relax and prepare the new excursion perhaps pushing on to Taormina! Beautiful rooms and excellent cuisine, kindness, courtesy and competence of all the staff. Highly recommended.

16/05/2025: A hotel run with great care by a father and daughter, where everything is just right. There's a pizzeria and a traditional Italian restaurant, both serving food and drinks at very reasonable prices, with three types of draft beer available. We had a room with a balcony overlooking Mount Etna, spewing glowing lava, which was very impressive. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
