04/01/2026: We discovered this restaurant by chance while strolling along the Torre Archirafi seafront. We were pleasantly surprised by the dishes on the menu: everything was fresh and good quality, with generous and flavorful appetizers. For our first course, we ordered the house specialty, shrimp and spider crab risotto...very, very good! In short, if you're in the area, it's a must-try!

03/01/2026: New Year's Eve 2026 Lunch. An excellent seafood New Year's Eve lunch. From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious. The host was very kind and attentive. I recommend it and will be back.

22/12/2025: This Sicilian appetizer mix is ​​the perfect introduction to local cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised by every item in the set. Some were new, others reminiscent of childhood dishes. And everything was incredibly pleasant and delicious. These sets for two (drinks included) and white wine are ideal. Definitely worth trying, and more than once.

21/12/2025: I had to introduce my partner from Milan to the typical Catania seafood cuisine, and they managed to impress me. The service was professional, very kind, and attentive. Excellent ingredients, flavors and aromas I hadn't encountered in a long time. Congratulations, I highly recommend it!

16/03/2026: I wanted to try this restaurant because I'd heard good things about it. It's a lovely, elegant place, with private parking and electronic payment options. I had the "Aqua del Ferro" pizza, and I have to say it was very good: excellent ingredients used, generous toppings, and truly well-made. The staff was also professional and friendly; there was nothing to complain about. The only downside, if anything, was the higher-than-average prices. For two pizzas, a generous portion of fries, two cans of Coke, and a 75cl can of water, I paid €49. I later got the price down to €32 thanks to a reservation with The Fork, which I recommend using if you want to try this lovely restaurant.

Their desserts are simply extraordinary, but the real stars are their famous bananas—a true delight that's hard to find anywhere else! These sweets are the perfect combination of deliciousness and artisanal craftsmanship: soft, fragrant, and with that authentic flavor that lets you know they're made with genuine ingredients and a lot of passion. Every bite is an experience that takes me back to the flavors of the most authentic Sicilian tradition. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they put their heart into what they do. The pastry shop is always clean and tidy, and the aroma that greets you as soon as you enter is simply irresistible. If you pass through San Michele di Ganzaria, you absolutely can't miss this pastry shop, and especially their bananas—they're a gastronomic treasure of the town! Excellent quality, fair prices, and a family atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Highly recommended! 🍰👌​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

18/01/2026: We've been coming here very often for a few years. The food is always excellent, everything top-quality. My favorite dish is the Chianina Antipasto, which is filling and delicious in itself. It's my entire family's favorite restaurant. Ironically, even though it's a steakhouse, they also offer a variety of vegetarian options.

26/01/2026: Great little restaurant; street parking that wasn't difficult to find on a Friday night in January. Staff speaks English. There is a small, open kitchen with a woodfire pizza oven, and the pizza menu is extensive. My husband's swordfish wasn't fresh, but he didn't seem to mind. Storm Henry hit earlier in the week and the local fisherman were still probably recovering. We were looking for a restaurant that wasn't in Catania downtown and Valentino's fit the bill. Sigonella folks: this is a great place to go with a larger group. Atmosphere scored low because of the fluorescent lighting - does nothing for dining ambiance.

24/01/2026: Welcoming atmosphere, knowledgeable staff. I brought biker friends from the Marche region, and they loved the grandmother's macaroni, which they even made with bread and dipped in breadcrumbs. Lo Zingaro recommends!!

24/02/2026: Excellent pizza, well-topped, with a soft, melt-in-the-mouth crust. It's hard to choose given the original and very interesting menu. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the rustic location is very well-kept and welcoming. Highly recommended.

07/01/2026: I am always critical to dine at restaurants inside the city centre because so many restaurants are really not serving good food but charging you a lot. Vuciata is an exception. The fish there is so fresh and delicious. We tried the grilled octopus with mash potatoes and sarde a beccafico alla catanese. Both are unbelievably good especially the octopus.
