05/05/2026: I stumbled across this place by chance as I was leaving the airport. I was looking for somewhere with a view and good food… To my surprise, it was a charming spot… My cat kept me company, and Lorenzo, the waiter, was very kind and attentive. The food was amazing… fresh and made to order… It's going to be one of my favorite places here 😍🙌🏽

03/05/2026: We ordered a plate of spaghetti allo scoglio But it wasn't to my liking. The pasta was lightly seasoned. Then we had some roasted octopus without any salt. Then we had a plate of raw seafood. Good, but nothing special. The price of this lunch was way too high for what we ate.

17/05/2026: I underestimated the portion sizes in this Sicilian restaurant. It's located by the sea, and although the weather wasn't great the day I visited, it was still very relaxing. I stumbled upon this place; I was staying at a hotel only 500 meters away. It was incredibly generous. I ordered the 35-pound set meal, and they brought out so many appetizers, plus two more pasta dishes – we couldn't finish it all! Highly recommended! Everything in my photos is included in the set meal, including drinks. I don't drink alcohol, but I ordered a little white wine. Highly recommended!!!

05/06/2026: This review comes from 38 years ago when my father was stationed at Sigonella. They didn't have any available base housing when we transfered from Maine, so we stayed in Motta in a high-rise apartment building our first year. I remember sheep being herded down our street, I remember the AMAZING street markets every weekend. I am lucky enough to remember it all. Most of all, I have NEVER FORGOTTEN the pizza sauce from Valentino. There are only a small handful of places that have made pizza that gave me a hint of the taste of that sauce. Every time it hits, takes me right back. We went almost WEEKLY, which was insane for a military family...we didn't eat out at all. I have now made my first pizza at home, myself, and I will spend the rest of my years perfecting the sauce from my childhood. I wish you all the best!

21/02/2026: A very charming little spot for an aperitivo or aperitivo with indoor and outdoor seating. The cocktails are beautifully crafted, and the snacks also help spark pleasant conversation. There's paid parking nearby in blue lines in Catania's nightlife district.

21/05/2026: The food was quite good, but it really detracted from the enjoyment that you had to eat it on disposable plastic plates and with plastic cutlery. The food was also brought out on a crappy plastic bowl. The server did her job, but she wasn't nice. The price didn't reflect the "quality" described above, it was overpriced. I don't recommend it!

19/11/2025: Menu with inaccurate prices on the page. I called to place my order and disputed the total, which didn't match the menu. They told me, "Madam, these are pre-COVID prices." Am I wrong, or have years already passed? He was too clever, and after he apologized, he told me we'll change them now, we didn't notice. But if you're claiming these are pre-COVID prices, something's wrong. I told them it was questionable, and they said, "We'll cancel the order." Terrible service, availability, and customer service.

17/11/2025: Acicastello's historic pizzeria. The pizza is good, but it can get crowded during peak season.

17/02/2026: Last night we were here as soon as we arrived we sat down and ordered a portion of potatoes and croquettes the taste was good and also the cooking then three very simple pizzas but there are some flaws including the mozzarella was not melted well then the price is right for the quality of the food we ate I think we will return even with friends

11/04/2026: This afternoon, we were passing through Linguaglossa. Seeing the many positive reviews, we decided to stop by Bar Le Palme for some takeout. They didn't disappoint; everything was delicious, especially the arancini. Iris was spectacular. The staff was also very friendly and the place was spotless. We'll definitely be back.
